MTV2 Medley, July 14, 2013
"MTV2 Presents Short-List 2004 Nominees" is a 15 song collection from various artists. I enjoyed "They" by Jem and "Surfing On A Rocket" by Air the most. However, "Michael" by Franz Ferdinand, "Time Is Running Out" by Muse, "David" by Nellie McKay, and "Dry Your Eyes" by The Streets are also some of the good songs featured within this collection. "MTV2 Presents Short-List 2004 Nominees" is great for those who like a sampler of various artist collections featuring alternative rock, indie rock, country rock, and electronica music.

Clairvoyance Guide, July 21, 2013
I confess that it is challenging for me to sometimes admit when I need help due to judgement from others. This is especially if what I'm going through is self-inflicted and I'm in the process of wisely figuring out where to get the best help. There is always so much for me to learn. Fortunately, "Listen:Trusting Your Inner Voice In Times of Crisis" by Lynn A. Robinson is a guide for those who are determined to strengthen and tap into their own intuition on helping themselves. This book contains some of the following: Chapter 6: What You Say To Yourself Matters: Healing Information is given on such matters as how to be your own best friend and thinking like a visionary. Chapter 15: Letting Life Be Easy: I'm all too aware that I sometimes unintentionally allow certain circumstances in my life to be harder than it has to be. Healing information is given on such topics as finding the lesson and shifting attitude. Chapter 23: What Dreams May Come: Details are given on how dreams can provide solutions to waking life. There is so much more in this book and "Listen:Trusting Your Voice In Times of Crisis" by Lynne A. Robinson is a great guide for those who are determined to tap into their own intuitive faculties.

Music Continuation Of Armada Lounge Quality, July 21, 2013
"Armada Lounge: Vol. 6" is a collection of 38 chillout songs from various artists. "Colours" (Strings & Vocals Mix) by Emma Hewitt, "Carry Me Away" (Live Acoustic version) by Emma Hewitt,"Under The Gun" (feat. Leigh Nash) by Conjure One, and "Surrounded" by BT& Aqualung are some of the satisfying hits available out of the other excellent songs available on this various artist compilation. I am previously familiar with some of Emma Hewitt's music due to Armin Van Burren publicly introducing her on the internet. I am now curious to eventually checkout at least one of her music collections within the next three months. "Armada Lounge: Vol. 6" is fantastic for those who enjoy chillout and/or lounge music with trance and electronica vibes.

Phillips Showcase, July 21, 2013
"The World From The Side Of The Moon" by Phillip Phillips contains the popular and satisfying songs that are "Home" and "Gone, Gone, Gone." "Man On The Moon", "Get Up Get Down", and "So Easy" are among the quality songs on this collection. I like "Gone, Gone, Gone" a lot because the lyrics, in a positive way, symbolize how my husband feels about me."The World From The Side Of The Moon" by Phillip Phillips is good for those who like "Home" or adult contemporary songs.

Travels In One Spirit Land, July 21, 2013
"Spirited Away" involves the journey that a young girl named Chihiro embarks on after finding her parents transformed into pigs. She also travels through an even more unusual spirit world and dealing with the witch who was responsible for what happened to her parents. "Spirited Away" reminds me of "Howl's Moving Castle" (which is also a good film)."Spirited Away" is a great anime movie with supernatural/spiritual themes.

Hotshot Music, July 21, 2013
"We Are Smug" by Darren Hayes does contain some songs with good hooks such as "Good Dress", "Words That I Can't Say", and "Riot". I actually wanted to like these songs a lot because of Darren Hayes strong vocals with this experimental collection. The only reason why I reluctantly give it three stars is due to the feeling that his musical soul seems to be less prevalent on "We Are Smug"(his melodic spirit is more strongly evident in his 2011 Secret Codes and Battleships). However, I do plan on keeping an eye on the future releases of Darren Hayes music and would recommend "We Are Smug" for diehard fans of his music.

Does A Man/Woman Do Good and Evil Due To Influence From Spirits?, July 21, 2013
I admit that it is not always easy for me to publicly rate something two stars or less. This is only because I strongly believe in karma, which also is related to the type of reviews that a man or woman puts out publicy. I understand that diehard fans of this movie and/or those who disagree with my viewpoint may give at least one unhelpful vote, but I feel it necessary to speak about the movie. "Angel Heart" is a supernatural type of movie that touches on the nature of good versus evil. The casting of Mickey Rourke as Harry Angel, Robert Deniro as Louis Cyphre, and Lisa Bonet as Epiphany Proudfoot was well done. The positives: Mickey Rourke brilliantly played a detective who goes about getting the answers to his questions in very unconventional ways. Rourke's complicated but convincing portrayal as Harry Angel reminds me of the strong complexity that he showed as a villain in Iron Man 2. Rourke also did a good job in expressing shock at some of the events in the movies, part of me also wanted to believe he had nothing to do with many of the events that transpired. Robert Deniro did an incomparable job of portraying a man who is not how he appears to be and a tricky character to pin down. Deniro's gift of portraying multiple personas reminds me of his intensity in The Bronx Tale and Stardust movies.Deniro also distinctively plays a Cyphre who convinces Harry Angel that he is truly an ally. Lisa Bonet does a notable job in portraying a woman who is doing the best that she could in going on in her life without her mother while also tending to her son. The reason why I give "AngelHeart" two stars despite the terrific acting is due to my uneasiness with the painting of the Proudfoot character as only promiscuous and mainly focused on her occult lifestyle. There is nothing wrong with those who choose unconventional lifestyles, but I was hoping that Bonet's Proudfoot character would have been portrayed in a more positive light. Yes, she was at least wonderfully portrayed as a caring mother. However, it would have been nice if other facets of her were more frequently revealed in the movie. I felt as if the movie was unintentionally portraying that Proudfoot deserved what happened to her as a result of crude stereotypes. Maybe a remake and/or sequel could feature either Proudfoot or one of her descendants as a female of many interests who loves life and is highly spiritual. The remake and/or sequel could also feature what happened to Harry Angel and/or one of his descendants in the afterlife. I only say this because I do believe in reincarnation, and believe that a formerly evil spirit is eventually released from the darker non-physical realms if they are remorseful and are determined to spiritually evolve. However, there are some fans of horror films that may enjoy "AngelHeart."

Political Negotiations And Opulence, July 16, 2013
"Diplomacy and Diamonds: My Wars From The Ballroom To The Battlefield" by Joanne King Herring gloriously tells about her journeys in both her personal life and political matters. What she recounts would actually make for an interesting and watchable film. The following are some of the colorful details mentioned in the book: Pages 54-61- What looks to be a press release on her "Roman Orgy" themed party that happened in July 1959. It is not what you think, some of the helpers that enthusiastically helped at her party came from the local Boy Scout group. Pages 78-79- Herring mentions her meetings with such well known men as Sean Connery and the late Frank Sinatra. Page 113-117-French politician Raymond Marcellin once proposed marriage to Joanne King Herring. Page 171- She mentioned how her late husband Bob Herring would enjoy her company to the point that she accompanied him on many of his overseas business dealings. There are also fascinating details on her relationship with the late politician Charlie Wilson. From her honest memoirs, I can only deduce that her late husband Bob Herring was her true love and Charlie Wilson helped heal her pain. I respect her apparent intent to be careful about what to disclose about her dealings with Charlie Wilson due to her being a Christian woman. In all fairness, she did disclose information that could have indicated that they were mutually in love with each other. It appears that Wilson may have broken her heart to the point where she felt naturally hesitant about ever rekindling the flame of romance with him. However, one of my caveats was that I was left hoping for more information on other get together dates they may have had (maybe other details could be featured in a movie on Joanne Herring's life?). Joanne King Herring also convincingly tells her side of the story on their (hers and Charlie Wilson's involvement) regarding information pertaining to what was covered in the movie "Charlie Wilson's War." Much more compelling information is included and "Diplomacy And Diamonds" by Joanne King Herring is a fascinating read for those who liked the "Charlie Wilson's War" movie and/or are curious about the life of a multi-dimensional socialite.

Higher Self Relationship, July 16, 2013
"The Calling Of Your True Self" by Elizabeth Anne Bell resonated with me due to my own determined intent to continually work towards a powerful connection with my soul. I have much to be thankful for, but my spirituality provides a healing balm in my life. I consider myself to have a thick skin and a tough emotional strength against prejudgements on both my personality and physical appearance. However, I struggle the most with accepting my physical appearance due to trying to feel a sense of belonging culturally. I try to make myself feel welcome in all three of the racial demographic groups that I belong to, but there have been instances where I have been subtly questioned on not looking or "acting' the part to belong to any of the groups (technically rendering me just other). Information on "The Calling Of Your True Self" helps remind me to strive to connect on focusing more on my inner self in the face of such a spiritual tests. The following is some of the helpful information included in this book: Pages 20-28: The inner voice and the role of meditation in strengthening this area. Pages 37-42: Positive Thinking And The Aura. Pages 55-62: Information On Guardian Angels. Pages 63-70: Ways to Tap Into the Sixth Sense. "The Calling Of Your True Self" by Elizabeth Anne Bell is a healing book to turn to for spiritual and emotional nourishment.

Concert Gem, August 12, 2013
I was highly interested in checking out "A Diamond In The Mind Live 2011" by Duran Duran dvd set due to my familiarity with some of their music collections and the fun I had after attending one of their exciting concerts back in 2011. The "A Diamond In The Mind Live 2011" is a two dvd set showcasing some of Duran Duran's classic hits in a concert format. The first disc features at least 19 of their songs that are performed live. There are many good songs in the live action portion, however "A View To A Kill" and "Ordinary World" are among my favorites in this musical edition. Tunes from the 2011 collection of "All You Need Is Now" such as "Safe" (In The Heat Of The Moment) and "Girl Panic" are also included in the live concert performances. Disc 2 features a 2011 documentary that showcases the camaraderie and closeness among the band-members. There are also the classic and satisfying hits songs of "Come Undone" and "Is There Something I Should Know" concert features within the bonus section of the second dvd. "A Diamond In The Mind Live 2011" dvd is fantastic for those who enjoy many of the 80's and 90's songs from Duran Duran and/or those who have enjoyed and/or attended any of the Duran Duran concerts.

Canada Tourism Mag, August 12, 2013
"2013 Travel Guide To Canada Magazine" interested me due to the joint intent of both my husband and I to visit Canada from the timeframe between December 2014 and February 2015. I have the 2013 Travel Guide to Canada Magazine which includes among the following information: Pages 36-37: Brief information on some of the parks to visit in Canada such as the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site and Otentik. There is also a website listing for the park's resources. Pages 38-42 "Try The Train" article title: An informative feature of the multiple train routes to partake in across Canada such as the Algoma Central Railway, and the Le Train Du Massif De Charlevoix. Travel details on Ontario, Toronto, Montreal, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia are covered. There is much more interesting coverage in this magazine and the "2013 Travel Guide To Canada" is a fitting choice for those who are interested in visiting Canada within the next 2 years and/or are curious about Canada's tourism offerings.

Power To Shape My World, August 12, 2013
"The World Is In My Hands" by Cascada is an uplifting song that appears to be about persisting and continuing to go after personal ambitions. Elysian Electronic, August 12, 2013
"Fly To Paradise" by Eric Whitacre features a various group of men and women singing together in harmony (with superb vocals). The lyrics appear to symbolize the beauty of soaring to new heights in various vistas of life. I admit that I first found out about this song thanks to the video being featured on one of my husband's online news feeds. Something about the video and/or the title resonated with me to watch it, and I gently coerced my husband into watching "Fly To Paradise" with me. We both watched the music video on youtube together and he noticed that the wings to the featured female appeared to grow larger as the song progressed. The music sounds like a carefully blended mashup of dub step, chillout, and electronica melodies, which complement both the lyrics and video perfectly. "Fly To Paradise" by Eric Whitacre is best for those who like electronica, chillout, and/or joyfully spirited theme songs.

Children Of Privilege, August 12, 2013
I am fortunate to have found out about the "Children Of Paradise" film from the online recommendations of Amazon Canada. "Children Of Paradise" is a film set in France and shows a beautiful woman named Claire Garance Reine, who is romantically admired by at least four men. Garance appears to be passionately in love with a gifted mime named Baptiste. Garance's desire to exercise freedom in her personal life is indirectly shaped by the death of her mother as she was coming of age. The complicated twist to this situation is that a woman named Nathalie is also intensely in love with Baptiste. There is much more suspense and intrigue to this movie than what this summary lists. "Children of Paradise" is a superb choice for those who are curious about watching films that relate to life of citizens who worked in theater and how it ties into the indirect dealings of those who were part of the upper class culture. For instance, Garance ends up meeting a man who is one of her admirers and is part of the French aristocracy. This event is only one part of multiple incidents in the film on why the "Children of Paradise" metaphorically fits the movie's theme.

Off The Wall Adventures of Archer and Company, August 12, 2013
My husband first introduced me to the Archer series back around late 2009/early 2010 when we were living in Orlando, Florida. He has watched Archer since season 1 and getting "Archer Season 4" was an easy choice towards continuing to follow the Archer series. The first episode of "Fugue and Riffs" is extremely comical for many of those who have watched any of the episodes of Bob's Burgers from Netflix. Episode 7 of "Live And Let Dine" was one of my husband's favorite episodes due to the voice feature of Anthony Bourdain (my husband has previously enjoyed Bourdain's work from his tv show on the travel channel). My favorite episode was the "Honeymooners" episode due to the zany antics of Cyril, Pam, and Cheryl spying on Archer and Lana. The following actors/actresses are listed to voice these characters: H. Jon Benjamin as Archer, Jessica Walker as Mallory Archer,Aisha Tyler as Lana Kane, Chris Parnell as Cyril Figgis, Judy Greer as Cheryl Tunt, Amber Nash as Pam Poovey, Lucky Yates as Krieger, Adam Reed as Ray Gilette, and George Coe as Woodhouse. The television series of "Archer Season 4" is a worthwhile choice for those who have liked any of the previous Archer series and/or animated comedy.

Entourage Inspiration, August 12, 2013
Entourage: Cast & Creators Live At The Paley Center is a 48 minute documentary that interviews the cast on real-life inspirations behind their show. I was curious to watch this due to my interest in tying the show into how it relates to real-life public relations. The great thing about this documentary is that all of the people interviewed are highly down to earth and throw humor into what inspired them with the show. They are also respectful with their audience members as well. One of the main points I indirectly gleaned from the show was that part of the real-life inspiration for the show came from certain publicists. Entourage: Cast & Creators Live At The Paley Show is a suitable documentary to watch for those who are interested in the area of PR, enjoyed any of the Entourage episodes, and/or are looking forward to seeing the upcoming "Entourage move."

Intense Suspense, July 21, 2013
"Red 2" is a superb action film that touches on the continuation of most of the characters from the first Red film. My husband and I both agreed that "Red 2" was even better than the first "Red." However, he was undecided at first about who was his favorite character. This was because Bruce Willis and Louise Parker elegantly played a couple very much in love and playing out their relationship among various heists. Lee Byung-hun gave a marvelous performance as a gifted assassin who deep down has a good sense of right and wrong. However, my husband admitted that he enjoyed Anthony Hopkins in the role as Dr. Edward Bailey the most. This was because Hopkins gave an admirable performance as a physicist who is called upon for his talents. My favorite performances were a tie between Helen Mirren as Victoria Winters and John Malkovich as Marvin Boggs. Mirren gives a splendid performance as a trained and true femme fatale who still has a heart for her fellow friends while accomplishing her duties in an efficient manner (there is a comical scene where she is portraying the queen of England). My husband also liked Mirren's performance, but more for her flirty demeanor and her elegant style while doing one of her jobs (there is a scene where she is aiming her gun in a stylish outfit and letting her boyfriend touch her feet). I enjoyed Malkovich's commendable performance as Boggs because he plays a man with the right touch of paranoia who also is a skilled mediator for his fellow colleagues/friends. There are also electrifying scenes in the movie where the characters are shown traveling to England, France, and Russia. "Red 2" is a terrific film for those who enjoyed the first "Red" movie and/or like action films. The following actors/actresses also play important parts in "Red 2": Catherine Zeta Jones as Katya, Brian Cox as Ivan Simanov, David Thewlis as The Frog, and Neal McDonough as Jack Horton.

"Angel Answers" : A Joyful Guide To Creating Heaven On Earth by Andrew Ramer is a channeled book involving information that the author gleaned from celestial influences. Unconventional information involving wisdom and intimate relations are covered in this book. For example, the book contains suprising information that two people can end up wired into each other's energy field for the rest of their lives if they had engaged in intimate relations with each other. The author goes on to provide a shocking explanation on why you are pretty much sharing your soul with this person even if you only interacted with each other for a miniscule amount of time(when intimate relations are involved). There is more information included such as gurus and dancing with the music of the spheres.

Mystic Autobiography, August 22, 2013
"An Engineer's Guide To The Spirit World": My Journey From Skeptic To Psychic Medium by John Roncz discusses some of the author's spiritual and professional experiences. The only area where I respectfully disagree with the author on is the topic of suicide. Yes, I understand that there many powerful, psychic, and talented people who also share the sentiment suicides have to reincarnate back on earth. Please understand that I do not condone suicide, and I wish to live to see my 100th birthday (in accordance with the will of my higher self and the celestial spirit realm). However, I am highly compassionate of those that have directly or indirectly been affected by suicide and believe that there are some suicides that are allowed to stay in the nonphysical realms under certain circumstances and karmic levels. He explains in the book that he believes that suicides have to immediately reincarnate back to earth and deal with whatever they escaped from. I do believe that many suicides do immediately reincarnate back on earth more because they are reacquainted with why they chose to come to earth to begin with (not because they are forced to). Additionally, I believe that there souls of some suicides that are exempt and/or excused from having to reincarnate back on earth due to karmic and/or other mysterious reasons. It is just that I believe that the spirit realm may not allow proof (at this time) to more men and women on whether suicides have to reincarnate back to earth because it would drastically interfere with the spiritual contracts of millions of men and women (at the current earth vibration). Aside from this caveat, this is a good book. Some of the journeys that he provides heartfelt information involves his mystical experiences in Egypt, how he met someone who greatly impacted his love life, and a user friendly presentation on what he did to manifest a desired car. Roncz also acknowledges many of the psychics and spiritual people that he crossed paths with in his life.

Luxurious Shower Experience, August 22, 2013
I am lucky to have generously been given multiple sets of bath & body works sets from my mother in law when she was visiting my husband and I such as Twilight Woods, Coconut& Lime, White Citrus, and Sexy Dahlia Rush. I'm humbly thankful for all of the gifts from her, but have to admit that the Bath & Body Works The Sweethearts Sexy Dahlia Rush body wash & lotion are among one of my favorites in the collection. Both the body wash and lotion have a pleasant and subtle grape scent. Using Bath & Body Works "The Sweet Hearts Sexy Dahlia Rush" body wash (in conjunction with the Sexy Dahlia lotion)does also help to soften the skin while leaving delicate hints of jasmine and vanilla. Bath & Body The Sweethearts Sexy Dahlia Rush collection is fantastic for those who love Bath & Body works products.

Amusement Lines, August 22, 2013
"Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke (deluxe edition) combines the elements of R&B music with dance beats in a cunning manner. Thicke's previous music offering "Love After War" showcased the theme of romance in a vulnerable and serious way. In contrast, "Blurred Lines" explores love and relationships in a playful, light-hearted style. "Blurred Lines", "Give It 2 U" (feat. Kendrick Lamar), "Feel Good", "Get In My Way", and "Put Your Lovin On Me" are some of the multiple pleasing songs that symbolize living a favorable existence in life. I enjoyed the club inspired hits in "Blurred Lines", but also enjoy the moments where he pours his romantic side out such as in "The Rest Of My Life." I read somewhere online that Paula Patton encouraged his creative expression for the music video in "Blurred Lines." Obviously, she is helping him feel safe to artistically express himself. May they have many more close, loving, and inspired years together."Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke is great for those who have enjoyed any of his previous works and/or like music mashups of eurodance with R&B.

Quiet Erotic Music, August 21, 2013
At the time of this writing, "Top Erotic Lounge-55 songs" has a controversial image of a gorgeous female surrounded by what looks to be male suitors seducing her. The positives: 55 various artists songs that have different beats of background music. "Hero" by Joe Leggz & Will Mussett, "Colours of Love" by Cane Garden Quartet, and "Music Box" (Original) by Atthis Alcedo, and "The Trusting Circle" by Chill Destination H262 are among the music tunes on "Top Erotic Lounge-55 songs" that contain elements of originality. It was just that I was hoping for more songs that contained vocals and/or an increase of electronica elements. However, "Top Erotic Lounge-55 songs" is fine for those who want a music compilation that contains a dominance of soft tempo background music selections pertaining to love affair themed chillout music.

White House Worker Prestige, August 21, 2013
Lee Daniel's "The Butler" film has Forest Whitaker playing an indispensable role of Cecil Gaines. The Gaines character was based on the life of Eugene Allen. Online sources have listed that Eugene Allen lived a long life where he at least saw his 90th birthday (he passed away in Takoma Park, Maryland). Whitaker carefully portrays a resilient Gaines character who overcame serious adversity. It is extremely essential to actually be inside the movie theater to actually watch the first ten minutes of "The Butler" in order to completely understand the character evolution of Cecil Gaines. This one event partially and indirectly affects the consciousness of Gaines as he balances his marriage, family life, and navigating his employment at the White House. Oprah Winfrey, Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz,David Oyelowo, David Banner, and Mariah Carey are part of the film. Among other well- known celebrities billed to this film: Alan Rickman, John Cusack ,Liev Schreiber , James Marsden, Robin Williams, and Jane Fonda.

Potential Society Living By Financial Standards, August 12, 2013
"Elysium" is a futuristic type of film that illustrates what could happen if members of the wealthiest income strata decided to create completely separate living regions from other socio-economic classes. I truly wish that I could say that what is depicted in "Elysium" will never happen on earth and that harmony and unity is going to reign supreme within the next 25 years at the latest. However, it looks like a more unified world may not come about until at least 250 years from now. Additionally, it is becoming even more easy for the top 1% to create their own communities due to the socio-economic and racial segregation that still exists in many middle socio-economic class and lower socio-economic class neighborhoods across America. There was an element of the immigration debate within the film. I have to confess that I am on the fence and undecided about the immigration issue because I would have to gather more information before making an informed decision on the still controversial matter. "Matt Damon" gave a compelling performance as a man who unexpectedly carries the responsibility of making the amenities of Elysium more accessible to a greater number of men and women. Jodie Foster also gives a brilliant performance as an abrasive and shrewd politician who wants to preserve the culture of "Elysium" at even the most extreme of costs. The following actors and actresses are also included in "Elysium": Diego Luna, Alice Braga,Sharlto Copley, Faran Tahir,Wagner Moura, William Fichtner, Brandon Auret, Josh Blacker, Emma Tremblay, Jose Cantillo, Adrian Holmes, Jared Keeso, Adrian Holmes, Jared Keeso, Carly Pope, and Ona Grauer. "Elysium" is great for those who are curious to watch futuristic "potential" type of films.
