A Guide From A Former White House Director of Events, June 7, 2015
Please know that I’m thankful for what I have, including my job. Additionally, I do not dub myself a guru and am only sharing what piques my interest. However, I purchased Eat, Drink, and Succeed: Climb Your Way To The Top Using The Networking Power of Social Events by Laura Schwartz as a way to help me socially on both a professional and personal scale. This book is a godsend to me because it gives ideas on how to network and/or socialize in my spare time (vital because it is a no-no at my job). Eat, Drink, & Succeed by Laura Schwartz contains the following information; Building The Inner Circle Bridge (page 53), the wealth of information available in free city magazines, newspapers, online resources, conference programs (starts on page 86), the power of being introduced by someone else as well as introducing someone else (pages 127), avoiding gossip and asking someone’s age and salary (page 155), a checklist (page 177) and much more.

Saga About Following Your Dreams?, June 7, 2015
Fortunately, I know about the 2007 movie Hairspray due to my time of living on the Mayport Naval Base. A friend from work and I both agreed to see Hairspray after noticing that it was playing at one of the movie theaters connected to a mall. Anyhow, this movie has many famous celebrities attached to the film (John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Efron, and more celebrities featured etc). Tracy Turnblad (Nikki Blonsky) loves dancing so much and her interest with the Corny Collins show gives her an added fire and determination with her dancing. Tracy’s mother Edna Turnblad loves her daughter very much but is also a little overprotective of her at times. Overall, it is with good intentions because Edna only wants the best for Tracy without letting her get too crushed by the what ifs that could happen in life. Obviously, there is so much more to this film which is great for those who have enjoyed and/or liked the previous 1988 Hairspray film and/or enjoy watching movies that also happen to be musicals.

Summer Fun In Virginia and California, June 5, 2015
I admit so far I have only bought and watched Episode 4 from Travel Channel’s Bikinis & Boardwalks Season 1. This was due to the coverage of Virginia Beach Virginia (I intend to eventually move to and reside in Virginia long-term). Before I review, I must preface that I plan to live here in the Washington D.C. area for at least the next 5-6 months, but I intend to move by the year 2020 due more to cost of living reasons (where I have a better chance of having more money left after paying rent and/or the potential chance to own at least one paid for house and/or trailer by the year 2035), wanting to live close to one of the areas where I resided when I was still in the navy, while still being close enough to visit the Washington D.C. area at least once every 3-4 months (regardless of whether I’m employed in the private or government sector). I only say this because I get communications from well- intentioned people who mistakenly think I’m going to pick up and move tomorrow without taking my husband into account, providing appropriate notification at my job, and/or they’re unaware that I’m actually going to miss the Washington D.C. area. With that out of the way, I’m very glad that I purchased Episode 4 titled Bikini Contest. There is so much information and fun packed into just twenty one minutes (to the point where I’m considering purchasing the remaining episodes of this season within the next 11 months at the latest). However, here is a snapshot of some of the information available just in Episode 4 of Bikinis & Boardwalks Season 1 (Travel Channel); For the Virginia Beach segment the viewer is introduced to Randy Harris Paddle Board Tour Guide, Sarah Cochrane Guide for The Coastal Food Tour, what appears to be I think is Rocafellers restaurant (I plan to watch this episode multiple times and will update only if necessary)- Rocafellers drink containing cherry vodka, pomegranate liquer, and peach puree,- an event where 800 of the world’s top surfers compete, Mike Stanning owner of Waterman’s Surfside Grille, there is a drink served at Waterman’s Surfside Grille (since 1966) called an orange crush, This episode discusses how Virginia Beach Virginia is known to be a top summer party destination with a yearly bikini contest where the winner receives 3,000 U.S. dollars. The Santa Cruz California (mentioned in the episoe to be around 175 miles south of San Francisco)segment contains the following; Aloha Outrigger Races, the 1st race in the Aloha Outrigger Race starts out with 34 teams, Joe Marini owner of Marini’s who sells a chocolate bacon creation that is popular with many customers, Allison Emmert-Co-owner of Surf City Grille who admits that she has to keep her recipe secret for the popular fried artichokes that are fried in a secret herb and fresh local garlic batter. What is also mentioned in this episode is that at least 50 tons of artichokes are harvested in California each year.

Solid Mother Daughter Bond, June 5, 2015
Mama Mia is a quirky and elevating movie that partially centers around a strong bond that a woman named Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) has with her mother Donna (Meryl Streep). Donna is also lending emotional support to Sophie for her upcoming marriage and simultaneously coming to terms with Sophie growing up. On the positive/plus side both women are not alone as they are coping with the changes. In addition to her fiancée Sky (Dominic Cooper), Sophie has her best friend Ali (Ashley Lilly) for support while her mom has support in the from Tanya (Christian Baranski) and Rosie (Julie Walters). Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Stellan Skarsgard also play roles in Mama Mia.

Dramatic And Riveting, June 5, 2015
I eventually decided to take a chance on seeing Imitation Game after seeing it featured enough times at my job. For some strange reason, I was also curious to know more about the story behind the character (Alan Turing) that Benedict Cumberbatch was playing and the one that Keira Knight was playing (Joan Clarke). Both Turing and Clarke collaborated together during their professional/decryption work that was indirectly affiliated with helping to stop World War II. I understand that the movie is not a direct representation of what actually happened. However, one informative aspect tied into how the film carefully tied certain events into the work that they were doing (such as the heart-wrenching scene where Turing has to tell his coworker that they must withhold certain news even with the lucid awareness of one of their family members being on a certain sub). Additionally,I know that you are not supposed to use Wikipedia (academically speaking) as a guaranteed reference. However, if the birthdates cited are correct, it is interesting to note that their birthdays were just one day apart from each other (Clark and Turing’s birthdates). Anyhow, this is a good movie for those who are open to watch films indirectly related to key events in history and/or a case study in a person who did their best to endure being different from others in a time period that appeared to show contempt towards anybody outside of the mainstream.

Clairvoyant Eye?, June 5, 2015
I remember first hearing “Naked Eye” by Luscious Jackson as a teenager during the 90’s (the song played both on television and the alternative rock radio station near where I lived). Obviously, I still find this song enthralling to this day, yet wish that I could understand the full meaning. The song mixes elements of indie rock, alternative rock, and hints of electronica with the lyrics with my naked eye I saw the falling rain. I’m only guessing that maybe the song is about accepting things as they are yet simultaneously seeing things as they are (past the illusion of how it appears to be on the external surface). Regardless if my interpretation is correct (or somewhere outside of the ballpark metaphorically speaking), Naked Eye by is great for those who enjoy 90’s alternative rock/indie songs.

Impetuous Emotions?, June 5, 2015
Burn by Kreo (also known as Burning For You by Kreo as per Vimeo) is a melodious song that I first heard Yahoo music radio via around 2005/2006 when I was living on the Mayport Naval Base (through the United States Navy). As many know, I listen to music from both iheartradio and Pandora, but was recently reminded of positive memories of this song when I first recently heard it on Pandora. The title of the song pretty much hints at the meaning of the song, yet I’ll go ahead and throw out that the meaning of the song basically is about caring for someone on a deep romantic level (I’m guessing a culmination of both passionate love/intense and feelings of a strong crush that exist across various ardent unions; where two people are just lovers and/or flings to each other, unmarried relationships, and marriages). Burn For You by Kreo (also known as Burning For You by Kreo) is a fantastic dance song for those who savor music from the early 2000’s and the song can also be listened to on Amazon prime, Vimeo, and/or Youtube for those who are still on the fence about this song.

Sultry And Melodious, June 5, 2015
Tell Me by Billie Myers is another song that I first heard in my teenage years via the radio (around the time I was 17). Once again, I acknowledge that this dancey/pop song could be about something else completely different, but I’m guessing Tell Me by Billie Myers is a musical track about being curious to see through the eyes of one’s lover. Please understand that I’m also aware of her Kiss The Rain track. It is just that I felt that Tell Me by Billie Myers needed to also be written/discussed about due to my humble perspective that this song is underrated. Either way, Tell Me by Billie Myers is great for those who listen to 90’s songs from various genres (due to Tell Me combining hints of pop, dance, international/world music vibes).

Not Too Sweet, Light Crunchy Taste, June 5, 2015
I gave these Quaker Popped Blackberry Pomegranate Flavor Sweet Oat Crisps (seven ounce bag)a try after a coworker recommended these as a good snack (at least the rice cake recommendation, I chose this flavor on my own). Yes, they are not quite rice cakes, yet they are close enough to them texture wise. The pomegranate and the blueberry flavor are both evident on these crisps with the stronger hints of pomegranate (at least to me). What I do like is the slight energy boost that I get from eating them.

Understanding That Certain References Changed since2008, May 28, 2015
I preface this review of The Money Chase Inside Harvard Business School dvd by emphasizing that I’m more than aware that I’m still in the process of learning just like everyone else and do not claim myself to be a guru. Additionally, I’m more than aware that business and financial success involve multiple variables that extend beyond just right timing with magisterial strategy, matching career goals/personal behavior with passion etc. However, I’m thankful to have this dvd to watch because I’ve noticed how business savvy and charisma are highlighted/implied in many of today’s financial success stories. Touches on Both Themes of Disenchantment and Hope, May 28, 2015
I took a chance on seeing Mad Max; Fury Road because my husband wanted to see this film. Fortunately, the movie turned out to be a bargain and well worth it (the location and timing when we saw the movie allowed us to see it at a discount). As many know, Mad Max Fury Road stars a multiple number of today’s popular actors/actresses (Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult and many additional well-known celebrities). The movie features a group of women banding together to get away from a very tyrannical leader. Two of the men end up becoming a significant part of the female entourage with dramatic results. The movie does center very much on the dystopian side, yet paints a powerful message of the amazing things that can happen when people unite together for a similar cause.

Achievement and Joy Unite, May 23, 2015
I have been wanting to see the Pursuit of Happyness film since around 2006/2007 when I was living on the Mayport Naval base in Florida. I’m glad that I finally got the chance to see this motivational film that also had equal moments of heart string pulling and tear jerking scenes. As many know, Pursuit of Happyness stars Will Smith as Chris Gardner and Smith’s real-life son Jaden Smith as the child. Thandie Newton also is one of the celebrities included in the film. One of the heart string pulling scenes is where the character of Chris Gardner and his son are shown waiting along with what looks to be several hundred other people waiting in line for homeless housing, but the shelter could only house around 50 people (an indirect commentary on the number of homeless shelters available in the U.S.). One of the employees of the homeless shelter is seen having to do the difficult job of announcing to the many waiting that they have now reached their daily cutoff, leaving the obvious impression that others are going to have to try elsewhere and/or again the next day. On an unrelated note, I especially can’t help but have feeling around this issue after unexpectedly running into a female who was homeless (less than a year ago), but was at least happy to have got a spot at a nearby homeless shelter and a job as an event planning assistant even as she was trying to qualify for public housing (which was obviously going to be a possible but tricky feat for her because she appeared to be both childfree and single). I only say that because it is common knowledge that the circumstances and probability of being able to qualify for public housing are different for those who have children compared to those who voluntarily chose to not have children. Without revealing her identity, the only other thing I feel comfortable in disclosing is that it appeared to me that she had previously actually lived in D.C., based on what she told me and where I ran into her (I wish to avoid disclosing for the sake of the review and my conscience on what is ok to reveal about that encounter). The ending of the Pursuit of Happyness gives the following data; After beginning his career at Dean Witter, Chris Gardner went on to open the investment firm Gardner Rich in 1987. Chris Gardner himself then makes a brief appearance in the film. Then the following other info; In 2006, Chris Gardner sold a minority stake in his brokerage firm in a multi-million dollar deal.

Utopia/Futuristic Type of Movie?, May 23, 2015
There are two things that indirectly influenced my decision to see Tomorrowland. The first is my burgeoning interest in films, media, books, and various information resources related to the idea of heaven, utopia etc. (from spiritual and points of view pertaining to the afterlife). Additionally, I was also influenced to consider seeing the movie when I recently looked up some information on the Greyhound bus website and came across an ad for the Tomorrowland movie. Minimizing movie spoilers, the movie centers around residing in a parallel world/dimension that is indirectly created out of the collective consciousness of some of the most open-minded and gifted men and women of living today. A couple of good points to this film; The main players of the film are working harmoniously and persuasively together that gives the impression that they at least got along during the creation of the movie. For instance, George Clooney and Hugh Laurie interact with their roles in a way that give the impression that maybe they spoke of the representation of Tomorrowland before acting out their scenes (there is an event in the film where both men are seen discussing how the collective viewpoints of society may or may not have an influence on the chances of creating a better world). Then there are the children and younger adults shown in the movie striving to collaborate together on seeing what can be done to preserve the existence of Tomorrowland. There are even guest appearances of certain celebrities during the movie. My only caveat is that the film could have featured more scenes in Tomorrowland. Either way Tomorrowland is great for those who are open to seeing Utopian themed films and/or fantasy movies.

Self-Confidence and Adventure Series, May 23, 2015
The Winx Club Enchantrix Volume 1 (Season 1) has multiple episodes that touch on uplifting themes of magic, wisdom, and friends. For instance, episodes two through four deal with one of the characters coming to terms with breaking a curse placed on her by first being at the acceptance level of who she already is, even if her physical appearance is not accepted and/or celebrated among others. I’m fortunate to have also watched and previously enjoy a spin off movie related to this series (Winx Club Magical Adventure). I also like how the Winx Club series plays on the ideas of different worlds. Yes, I know that this is a kid’s series, but these cartoons are also good to watch for those looking to boost their creativity and/or character development for writing stories, movie/play scripts scripts/journals for law of attraction exercises/processes etc.

Festival of Friends, Cooking Etc, May 23, 2015
LalaLoopsy Festival of Sugary Sweets is also another enjoyable movie for all ages groups and/or those looking for creative inspiration and/or ideas for recreational writing (personal journal/scripts for law of attraction exercises) and/or writing towards stories and/or movie/play scripts. Lalaloopsy Festival of Sugary Sweets is an uplifting 45 minute film about a group of characters who get together and collaborate in baking various various culinary creations for a festival/contest coming up. One of the characters is seen going through various adventures just to get a sugar replacement for some recipes that are going to be in the contest. The characters cooking for the contest also have assistants (in the form of their playful pets) helping them bake and create their sweet confections. The cartoon is very bright in both mood/colors and contains a healing hidden message of what can happen in regards to being receptive to benevolent help.

Effective and Worthwhile Relaxer, May 23, 2015
As mentioned in a previous relaxer review, I preface my review by acknowledging that I do understand that beauty comes in all hair types, skin complexions, body shapes, and various walks of life. However, I update this review by admitting that I relax my hair every 6-8 months because it helps me to more easily manage my hair on a budget. I would avoid the word never when it comes to going the completely natural route but I would have to see the examples of working women who are successful in the private sectors (outside of Hollywood/Los Angeles California royalty/superstardom)and have worn their hair natural for at least ten consecutive years before I change my mind about using relaxers. I have hair that is sometimes confused for a wig (someone actually pulled on my hair at an Armin Van Buuren concert before to make sure it was real). However, all my hair is real but I’m open-minded about people who wear wigs/weaves (I inherited my hair type from the Menominee Indian side of my family by way of my biological mother and grandmother). Anyhow, this Dr. Miracles Renewal No Lye Relaxer is nothing like I have used before (in a positive way) and has left my hair the smoothest it has been in years (this relaxer also turned my naturally type 3 curly hair into a type 2 but with a softness and strength that was pleasantly unexpected). Fortunately, the directions are very easy to understand and they even break down the steps of when to use the various hair products. For instance, the kit comes with gloves, relaxer crème, liquid activator, shampoo to rinse the relaxer out, miracle reconstructor (akin to hair conditioner), moisturizing masque (additional hair conditioner), and miracle shine. The kit even comes with special gel to protect your skin and hairline as you are relaxing your hair (which comes in handy for sure). It is emphasized to avoid leaving the relaxer in your hair past 20 minutes (to be on the safe side I included the “smoothing time”mentioned on the instructions towards the time counted towards leaving the relaxer in. I found out about Dr. Miracles Miracle Renewal No Lye Relaxer System From the Essence magazine website. Reluctantly I admit, that I ordered the super version online because the super version was unavailable at my job. One recommendation; if your hair is a length and thickness similar to mine I would gently recommend having an additional shampoo and conditioner to be on the safe side. I only say this because I used two relaxer kits in my hair and had to use a two in one shampoo and conditioner by Suave to rinse out the relaxer in my hair after I ran out of the shampoo included in the kit. The Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition conditioner (yellow bottle)with avocado, almond, and olive oil helped give my hair an additional after relaxer softness.

Music Anthems To Making The Best Out Of Life, May 23, 2015
I admit that hearing some of the songs by Martin Solveig on iheartradio compelled me to give Smash by Martin Solveig a chance. Of course as a result of this, I enjoy the Night Out and We Came To Smash In A Black Tuxedo are some of my fave songs on this cd. However, there are other fun songs on Smash by Martin Solveig such as Hello, Ready To Go, Big In Japan, Racer 21. Smash by Martin Solveig is perfect for those who are looking for uplifting club music with the tone/mood of having fun in life and/or looking on the bright side of life.

Tiesto Club Life Vol. 4 New York City has various electronic/dance beats that go along with the theme of city life and having a good time. For instance, the track Secrets (feat. Vassy, Tiesto, and KSHMR) touch on the heart of city life and spending time with someone that makes your heart race. Butterflies, The Only Way Is Up, Valencia, and Sky High are also some of the multiple featured songs that give a clue to the edgy yet thrilling vibe of Club Life Vol. 4 New York City by Tiesto.

A State of Simultaneous Peace/High Energy, May 23, 2015
A State of Trance 2015 (Mixed by Armin Van Buuren) is another solid set featuring various artists because of his vast feature of various artists across different songs such as Shine (Aly & Fila feat. Roxanne Emery),Mino Safy for When The Sun Smiles, Pegasus by Protoculture, The Edge by Orjan Nilsen etc. I also enjoy that the compilation starts of energetically with Going Home (Gareth Emery radio edit). There are other meaningful songs on A State of Trance 2015 collection by Armin Van Buuren (which is also good for those who are open to listening to trance/club music interspersed with spiritual/life themes).

Heart Originals/Classics, May 23, 2015
Icon by Heart is another find I’m lucky to have unintentionally discovered at my job. This cd was only somewhere between 5-8 dollars and contains a multiple number of their classic hits such as These Dreams, track number 6, track number 9, Magic Man etc (I forgot the exact amount because it has been at least 2-3 months since I purchased this cd). I first heard of them around the age of 6 or 7 when they played on the radio when I was still living in Wisconsin. I also frequently heard music by Heart growing up because a multiple number of their songs were featured on the radio on Illinois and I also discovered some of their music through tv.

Party To The Soul, May 23, 2015
I admit that I’m late to the party of purchasing Listen by David Guetta because I did not buy this cd until January 30th of this year (which was also after hearing his music featured on the radio, Pandora, iheartradio etc). I admit that Dangerous, Lovers On The Sun, and Hey Mama are some of the multiple tracks that I’m enjoying on the Listen compilation right now (I’m not ashamed to admit its partially because I heard these songs also featured on the radio). However, there is something for everybody on this Listen because of the various artists featured on this cd (Sia Ryan Tedder, Emeli Sande, The Script, Bebe Rexha, Magic & Sonny Wilson etc.). I admit that I like the inclusion of his collaborations with other artists on Listen because of his previous tracks which are also collaborations; Who’s That Chick (feat. Rihanna), Turn Me On (feat. Nicki Minaj), Commander and When Love Takes Over (feat. Kelly Rowland), Titanium (feat. Sia), Bad Girl (feat. Taio Cruz and Ludacrais). Listen by David Guetta is perfect for those who like club/dance music feat. various artists.

Connection/Speaking With the Heavenly/Celestial Realms, May 23, 2015
Communicating With The Spirit World by Melinda Carver is perfect for those who are looking for video/dvd seminars on ways of connecting to the celestial realms/their higher selves/heavenly helpers etc.. I have to credit an anonymous person who helped remind me recently of my soul’s desire for this information. Carver touches on the difference between spirit guides, ascended masters, and angels during this presentation. She also (in order to indirectly emphasize diving timing) that sometimes communication with a loved one in heaven may not yet be forthcoming because the soul has to first be ready. Without disclosing too much from the documentary, she gives examples of this through a woman who was trying to make contact with her son in heaven around a week after his death and another woman who was trying to make contact with a boyfriend who passed on from her high school years.

Neon Future II (2) by Steve Aoki is a musical continuation feature from his first Neon Future compilation (I had found out about that compilation after hearing a link to this Delirious song that I found by the iheartradio station affiliated with Calvin Harris). There are multiple heartfelt and soul stirring songs featured on this Neon Future II such as Heaven On Earth, Light Years, Hysteria, Youth Dem etc. Neon Future II is great for those who are familiar with Steve Aoki’s first Neon Future collection and/or those who like futuristic trance/electronic music.

Celestial Love Story, May 10, 2015
Made In Heaven is a film starring Kelly McGillis as initially Annie Packert and Timothy Hutton initially as Mike Shea. The character of Mike Shea dies via drowning after attempting to save some people from being trapped in an automobile. Shea was on his way to California before his death and had just been dumped by his girlfriend. Mike Shea dies and is then greeted in heaven by his Aunt Lisa (Maureen Stapleton). His aunt explains to him how heaven works and he soon goes about seeing what heaven is like for himself. He soon meets a spirit named Annie and unexpectedly falls in love with her. Annie ends up reincarnating back on earth just as her and Mike were mapping out their life together in heaven. Anyhow, the spirit of Mike Shea petitions with one of heaven’s guides named Emett (Debra Winger) in order to reincarnate back on earth. The reason being is because he obviously loves Annie dearly and appears to naturally be hesitant to wait the length of another human lifetime just to be with her. There are multiple guest appearances from other celebrities in Made In Heaven As Well (Tom Petty, Ric Ocasek from the Cars, Ellen Barkin, and Neil Young). This film is best for those who like romantic movies with a spiritual slant.

Creating And/Or Gaining Via Practical/Celestial/Occult Means, May 10, 2015
I preface this review by making it clear that I share my reviews as a way to keep track of my interests as they intersect with my life purpose/destiny. Intuitively, it recently dawned on me that my reviews, interests in the way of books, movies, music etc, and even many of the websites I have been drawn too hold keys to my life purpose/destiny. Yes, I understand that many highly regarded, intelligent, and even some famous/influential people do not believe in a life purpose/destiny. However, I have personally seen too many signs and information telling me otherwise that would change my beliefs that each person has a life purpose/destiny in their life plan. Anyhow, this book Magickal Protection; Defend Against Curses, Gossip, Bullies, Thieves, Demonic Forces, Violence, Threats, and Psychic Attacks by Damon Brand contains ideas for all sorts of spiritual protection. For instance, there is information on protection against influence (external influences), and details are listed on how someone can be influenced externally. Pointers are given on pronunciation, protection against accidents, protection while traveling, information on his other books, and more details. His writings have been important in me helping to accept and embrace part of my true self (an aspect of my higher self that is drawn to the occult). Fortunately, I’m also able to access this book via the kindle that my mother in law bought for me due to amazon’s feature of a kindle matchbook option for those who have already purchased the paperback book.

Supperclub Presents Lounge is an eclectic mix of two cds featuring twelve tracks each. One cd is titled La Salle Neige and the other cd is titled Le Bar Rouge. There is an interesting mix of jazz and chillout melodies on this collection (some are infused with trip-hop, ambient, and electronica elements). The wide range of songs feature music tracks such as Suzuki by Tosca, Focus On Sight by Thievery Corporation, Nightingales by Lemongrass, Ebredes by Marcel, Central Reservation by Beth Orton, and Close to Greatness by Classen Collective. Inside the cd covers are pictures of what look like upscale and/or private club lounges. There is also a picture of what looks like a group gathering for a private supperclub/dinnerparty and what looks to be a chef facilitating the items and food for the gathering. Part of the cd case of Supperclub Presents Lounge (white cd cover0 features some history on the Supperclub as it relates to being an integral part of the Amsterdam night life. There is some intriguing information in the background data brief featured on the cd cover. However, for some reason, one of the detailed tidbits that fascinates me is that the Supperclub restaurant is known to seat 150 guests who are entertained by Supperclub’s eccentric personnel. Additionally, many designers, dj’s, vj’s, photographers, and artists apparently come from all over the world to congregate at this Supperclub. The cd set of Supperclub Presents Lounge is great for those who are open to listening to music collections featuring various artists who create tracks infused with jazz, chillout, electronica, ambient, and/or trip-hop elements. At the time of this writing, the website ( wwwdotsupperclubdotnl which is now wwwdotsupperclubdotcom) featuring on the cd cover allows you to look at photos and access information from Supperclub gatherings based out of locations such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Instanbul, Amsterdam Cruise.

Ted Inspired Talks, May 10, 2015
Reluctantly, I confess that my intent to improve my speaking/communication skills coupled with my interest in joining one of the local Toastmasters inspired me to purchase Talk Like Ted; The 9 Public Speaking Secrets of The World’s Top Minds by Carmine Gallo. Additionally, this book purchase is inspired by a circumstance where someone who I admire diplomatically gave me some shocking but helpful feedback when they expressed how they can see me soar even more as a person if I could find a way to align my speaking style with my writing voice. Anyhow the following are some of the detailed features of Talk Like Ted; a public speaking profile about Colin Powells (pages 92-94 under Have A Conversation), a snapshot of a Pink Concert (pages 156-157 under Deliver Jaw Dropping Moments), and the 18 minute rule as it ties into creativity (pages 188-189). The book also features various arenas with pop culture subjects as it ties into the area of speaking ( a feature of Bono from U2 on page 218, the feature of 32,000 Barbie dolls on pages 220-221, and a discussion on kinesthetic touch with a person (Dr. Elliott Krane on page 235) using a blowtorch during their TED talk etc.).

Aromatic Blend of Coconut and Chocolate, May 10, 2015
These Sunbelt Bakery Fudge Dipped Coconut Bars were a bargain find from my job. Fortunately, these fudge dipped coconut bars came out appetizing and my husband liked them as well. I’m thinking that he probably liked the bars because they have a balance of coconut and chocolate taste with the right balance of sweetness (the right sugar amount without being too overpowering).

A Dessert Pairing Good With Peanut Butter, May 10, 2015
I recently bought a 17 ounce jar of Musellman’s Apple Butter from my job as an affordable and semi-nourishing way to satisfy my sweet tooth. This type of apple butter is a perfect complement to apple butter and peanut butter sandwiches. This type of apple butter would also be a good stand- alone ingredient on sandwiches as well. For instance, I had a sweet multi-grain roll with this type of apple butter and it still came out tasting delectable.

A Cool Blending of Travel Lifestyle and Cooking/Chef Writing, May 10, 2015
For some reason, I was drawn to purchase this Bon Appetit Magazine issue (Single Issue May 2015) from my job that is dubbed Bon Appetit The Travel Issue. The following are some of the exciting features of this brightly colored and compelling magazine issue; A feature on page 132 of a Switzerland based restaurant ,on top of a mountain, that people journey to for quite some time just to eat the food , bar and burger snapshots of Milwaukee Wisconsin (pages 88-92), Charleston South Carolina as a culinary destination (starts around the end of the magazine). The magazine lists Charleston South Carolina as one of the destinations because it is written within their article feature that many of their chefs are apparently winners of the highly regarded James Beard foundation Best Chef Award.

A Soul Can Dream (Travel Dreams), May 10, 2015
I admit that I already accept that it may be quite some time before my husband and I actually visit Canada. However, this did not stop me from obtaining this issue of the 2015 Travel Guide To Canada issue for dreaming and inspiration (it was from a bookstore within the Washington D.C. Union metro Station). Anyhow the following are some of the captivating article features within the 2015 Travel Guide to Canada issue; An article feature on Canada’s Aboriginal Peoples by Katherine Fletcher & Julia Wall (starts on page 46 and references places such as British Columbia, Alberta,Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, The Territories), an article feature of Niagara Falls by Barbara Ramsay Orr (starts on page 90), an ad on Fort George in Canada, an article titled Falling Madly In Love With Quebec by Josephine Matyas (starts on page 114) plus much more.

Danger Intrigue Adventure, May 10, 2015
My husband is actually the reason why we both decided to watch Vikings Season 1 together (so far we have watched up to Season 2 espisode 2). I had actually had this show as one of the ones I’m following in my tumblr feed and recently took my husband up on his offer to watch it with me (we are both open-minded about what each other watches, but there are certain shows I watch on my own and there are ones he watches on his own). However, this is one show that we both can agree on because of the adventure, intrigue, and the element of always leaving the viewer to guess what is going to happen. The show centers around the character of Ragnar (Travis Fimmel), his friend Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard),Ragnar’s wife Lagertha (Kateryn Winnick), and his brother Rollo (Clive Standen). Ragnar has an understandable aggressive streak essential for this survivor. However, he also has a large heart of gold hidden beneath his tough exterior for his wife Lagertha, their children Bjorn (Nathan O’ Toole) and Gyda (Ruby O’ Leary), his brother Rollo, and a strong kinship with his friend Floki. Ragnar has an overriding goal to conquer lands beyond his own homeland. As naturally expected, both Ragnar and those closest to them experience various detours along the way towards their objective of expanding their lands. I want to say more, however I am concerned of providing too many spoilers for those who have yet to see the Viking series. Normally, I mention who my favorite characters of the show are yet I feel guided to discuss just my husband’s favorite characters for this show. My husband sees the good in various characters portrayed within the episodes of the Viking series that we have seen so far. However, my husband admitted that Ragnar and Floki are two of his favorite characters of the Viking series. He likes Ragnar because there is a sense of calm and confidence about him unless the lives of those closest to him are danger (including members of his community). I think that my husband also admired the character portrayal shown on how Ragnar could separate how he has to be in battle while carefully retaining his soul and sense of feeling for his wife, children, his brother, and his allies (including Floki). My husband also admired the character of Floki because of his assured and energetic spirit as well as how he helps out Ragnar and his wife regardless of what is in it for him.. For instance, I noticed that my husband mentioned how Floki was also one of his favorite characters when there was a scene where Floki chose to help out Ragnar and his wife even with being uncertain as to where and when he would get his next food stores (there is a scene where Lagertha expresses concern at Floki generously sharing what was left of the last of his essential food for the winter). However, even with no guarantee of a positive or negative outcome, Floki’s character is seen expressing to Lagertha that she and her husband Ragnar have no reason to fear as he trusts that he will still somehow be provided for.

American Grit, May 10, 2015
I actually was able to watch American Hustle after I had recently rented it from Redbox. American Hustle opens with the characters of Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale), Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams), Richie De Maso (Bradley Cooper), and Mayor Carmine Polito (Jeremy Renner) appearing to be in the midst of finalizing a deal. Rosenfeld, Prosser, and De Masio are actually working together towards what is supposed to be mutual professional understanding. Rosenfeld and Prosser are in love with each other. However, Rosenfeld also has a wife Rosalyn Rosenfeld (Jennifer Lawrence) and kids at home that he also has to take into consideration. What complicates matters is that De Maso also appears to be taking romantic interest in Prosser. Irving Rosenfeld’s wife Rosalyn Rosenfeld is somewhat aware of her husband’s life, but the movie portrays that there is still so much she is unaware about. Bradley Cooper plays the integral role of an FBI agent who is orchestrating the talents of Sydney Prosser an Irving Rosenfeld due to their cunning ability to be professional con artists. Jeremy Renner plays a New Jersey mayor who is also caught in the web that is being weaved around a professional deal that is ‘supposed’ to hold potential towards generating enormous profit.

A Person Being Turned Inside Out By Love?, May 10, 2015
Faster Kill Pussycat by Paul Oakenfold feat. Brittany Murphy is one of those classic songs that I first heard on Yahoo music radio back around 2005/2006 (I even attempted to get a cd compilation containing the song around 2009/2010 when I was still living in Orlando, Florida and have heard this song on both the Iheart and Pandora radio stations). Anyhow, this song appears to be about knowing someone in your life who shakes up your life in an unpredictable yet exciting way (I’m guessing from the lyrics where she is admitting how the person makes her feel). This music collaboration involving Paul Oakenfold and Brittany Murphy is perfect for those who like dance/electronic songs with some guitar riffs.

Theme of Unconditional Love?, May 10, 2015
The Tiesto Radio station on Iheartradio was one of the places where I heard We’re All We Need by Above & Beyond feat. Zoe Johnston. I’m only guessing, but I’m inferring that this heartwarming song appears to be about two people who are there for each other and have an unbreakable/indestructible union that endures through both good times and challenging times. We’re All We Need by Above & Beyond is perfect for those who like love songs with a chillout/electronic/ambient feeling.

Dance/Electronic Anthem Touching On Passion, May 10, 2015
The iheartradio Armin Van Buuren station was one of the places where I have heard Take Over Control by Afrojack feat. Eva Simons. Basically, this is an upbeat dance song where the singer admits that she has an interest in spending time with a person of romantic interest. The music video to this song gives a double meaning imagery to what the lyrics mean and is great for those who enjoy dance/electronic music.

Spiritual Dance Track, May 10, 2015
The Other Side by Paul Van Dyk featuring Wayne Jackson is an emotional but heartwarming song about that appears to touch on the themes of afterlife and maybe spirituality? Either way, the song appears to be a positive message about eventually reuniting with close family members and/or friends in the afterlife.

Club Session, May 10, 2015
Smash by Ummet Ozcan is a song that I recently heard on one of the Pandora radio stations (I think that it might have been the Electronic Cardio Dance station). Anyhow, the beat to this song is melodic and gives an elevated feeling of being at some type of party/dance club event. Anyhow, the beat is consistent and well-placed throughout the length of the song. However, this song is best for those who are open to listening to music with an uptempo vibe.

Life Anthem?, May 10, 2015
I first heard Move Along by American Rejects somewhere around 2006 via Yahoo music when I was living in Florida through the navy. I have also heard this song on the radio, iheartradio, and Pandora. Anyhow, at least through my perspective, Move Along by American Rejects is a positive motivational song about keeping on towards the determination and ambition to make the best of life regardless of what may unexpectedly come up. Move Along by American Rejects is great for those who like uplifting rock songs.
