Information On Higher Self, Parallel Experiences etc., August 22, 2014
I was introduced to this book “Beyond Past Lives” by Mira Kelley through the Amazon U.S. recommendations (probably because of my previous purchases of afterlife books and connecting with the higher self). I purchased this book because it pertains to the higher self, and one of my personal goals is to continually facilitate a stronger connection with my higher self and project the energy of my soul (being my higher self) more frequently on a continual basis. In this book, Mira Kelley touches on how she came to have the chance to nurture her spiritual side some time after she was around 9 years old. Some of the other following details are in this book:
Pages 11-32: There is information on parallel lifetimes and the case study of one of her clients who died in 1978, but was also living a situation where he had been born in 1950.
Pages 50-76 (chapter 4):A chapter centered around the topic of conversing with your higher self
Pages 121-136: She shares how consciousness and time are linked and shares her own story of how this relates to her life. An exercise around time is also given to help facilitate perfect timing and much more is included in this book.

Continuation From Marks Afterlife Part One Book, August 22, 2014
Unexpectedly, I came across the Afterlife Interviews II book by Jeffrey Marks and decided to purchase it due to my previous familiarity with two of his other books. Additionally, my simultaneous interest with the afterlife, the higher self, and the power of imagination has increased exponentially since 2013. As a result, I feel especially drawn to material that I sense would help me further understand areas around those three topics. This book does expand on what he previously covered in his first afterlife book. However, the topic of this book is formatted in such a way, that one can still glean good information from this book even without yet being exposed to writings from the first afterlife book. The following is some of the details included in The Afterlife Interviews II by Jeffrey Marks:
“Heavenly Homes” (chapter 37 pages 95-99): I have to admit that this is one of my favorite chapters in this book. The author is given information that suggests that some who cross over to the other side may prefer to experience houses that embody a vibe of wealth and prosperity if they did not have the chance to live that way while on earth. One client’s father gives Marks the image of him living in a mansion. Another spirit gives the information that they at first utilized the option to live in several houses. However, he then eventually decided to go with just one home once he felt that multiple abodes were unnecessary.
“Spirit Guides And Guardian Angels” (chapter 43 pages 137-147): Information is transcribed that the role of spirit helpers is to help facilitate helping a person living on earth to be given the keys to live their life more successfully, but that they still must navigate the journey themselves. I agree with this, however I was hoping that details would be covered on the higher self and how the spirit world plays a role in the gifts of psychic abilities and clairvoyance. Additionally, one of the books on the afterlife by Elsa Barker touches on the power of imagination and the important role that imagination plays in both the spirit realm and earth life. What I’m trying to say that connecting the themes of the higher self and imagination to spirit helper communication might have added an extra strong element to this chapter. Last, but not definitely least, controversial information is included to suggest that someone who says that they are receiving communications from an archangel may be actually getting the communication from a spirit guide tasked with delivering the messages.
“Fate of Suicides” (chapter 48 pages 197-204): Details are delivered to the author to suggest that there are many suicides that are given extra love and care once they cross over. He also goes into mentioning that many of them end up reincarnating on earth because of their spirits becoming more aware on why they had to go through the extreme challenges and adversity to begin with. However, the only point I must respectfully disagree with the author on is that some people commit suicide because it was in their destiny. The reason being is because of my increased awareness (thanks to repeated exposure to various spiritual texts) that each life is valuable and holds a purpose and gift to both the man or woman and those who surround that person. I say this conviction regardless of the person’s intelligence level, income, job, where they live, spiritual beliefs, how attractive they are perceived by themselves and others etc. I understand that the author (Jeffrey Marks) is not implying that one human life is more valuable than the other. It is just that my concern is that the spreading of the message that suicide is in some people’s destiny may lead some people to believe that certain human lives are worth more than others. Additionally, it is common knowledge that there have been an increase in suicides by men and women who were marginalized in society for being different in some way and/or victims of bullies (both adult bullies and bullies that are teenagers and younger). Again, I understand that the author is not saying this, however advocating that suicide may be in some destiny blueprints may also open a dangerous door for the bully(bullies) and/or their family members to imply that maybe they are not responsible for a person’s suicide because they may have been meant to do so. There are numerous other examples that would take up too much time for me to mention. Please understand that my speaking on the suicide topic in no way means that I ever plan to kill myself during my current lifetime. I’m lucky to have been given the psychic awareness that my life means something regardless of how other men and women view me. It is just that although I still recommend this book (due to its many fantastic viewpoints on a range of topics), the viewpoint that some suicides are destined gave me cause for concern to speak up on why I respectfully disagree with that viewpoint.

Adventures of Castle and His Professional Partner, August 22, 2014
I admit that it was my husband who got me interested in watching season 3 of Castle because this is one of the television shows that he loves (he has multiple seasons 3 and 4 of Castle in his itunes account). Additionally, he has been watching this show since 2009. Anyhow, it is easy to see why he enjoys this show. The tv show of Castle centers around the story of an author who works closely and gives his best professionally to a detective that he is actually has romantic feelings for. Castle is a popular and successful author who also enjoys helping the detective because many of the cases give him strong material for his books. He also is shown interacting with both his mother and daughter who he loves very much. There are multiple suspenseful episodes in this season that it is hard for me to choose a favorite. However, one of the episodes that clearly sticks out in my memory is an episode where he is tasked with solving a tricky murder case that involves a celebrated psychic as the victim, especially because the killer was the last person who I would expect to do such a cold blooded act. One of the women who currently star in the Witches of East End series (I believe that it may be Rachel Boston as Ingrid) plays the surviving daughter of the murdered psychic. Another episode that stood out in my mind was that of a murder of a metro worker that also ties into a boy’s abduction. What complicates matters is that the parents had divorced and the mother had moved on to a much wealthier man than the father. She is shown scolding at the father while standing next to her new partner (this show definitely also knows how to create heart string pulling drama). The third episode that stands out in my mind is that involving the murder of an attractive male stripper and one of his wealthy older female lovers as a suspect. The stripper was only trying to turn his life around financially when he was murdered. Another episode that stood out to me was the murder of a gifted astrophysicist. Lyle Lovett stars as one of the mysterious government men (possible Men In Black theme) who make a guest appearance. There are many more brilliant episodes to season 3 of Castle, which is a good show to watch for those who are open to watching keep you guessing type of suspense.

Show That Touches On Magic, Afterlife, Nature of Good Vs. Evil etc., August 22, 2014
Fortunately, I had previously heard of the Witches of East End back in autumn 2013 when the Lifetime channel was promoting this show online. As a result, it was an easy decision for me to purchase the season one dvd set of the Witches of East End once I had seen it for sale at my place of employment. The season one dvd set also has some cool extras to accompany the three dvd set titled under deleted scenes, falling under their spell, gag reel, and cat blooper. One of the unique facets of this show is that it greatly touches on the afterlife and past lives. For instance, there is a scene where one of the characters unexpectedly loses a man she loves to a sudden death. She decides to use her magical powers to summon him back to life and succeeds. However, there are unintended consequences to not completely letting him go at his death (which is another element that the show touches on: certain aftereffects of achieving certain aims). Past lives are touched on when the show depicts scenes that explain a rich background on why the mother in the family is super protective over her daughters. This Witches of East End season one dvd set is perfect for those who are open to watching tv series with occult/supernatural/witchcraft/magical themes

Merlin, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Merlin’s Apprentice, The Excalibur Kid, Magic Sword, King Arthur, Sword of Lancelot, and Merlin and The War of the Dragons are in the collection. The dvd box holds two cases that have 4 movies encased in each of them. One of the fantasy packs holds over 6 hours of movie watching while the second contains 7 hours of film watching. Fifty Shades of Blushing?, August 22, 2014
I admit that I unintentionally stumbled across Fifty Shades of Grey by E L James during a work break. I was only trying to find a place to briefly relax, yet still close enough to my work station when I saw this book. I had also seen a movie trailer for an upcoming movie around this book when I went with my husband to see Guardians of the Galaxy. Anyhow, Fifty Shades of Grey centers around a young woman named Anastasia Steele (in her 20’s) who unexpectedly falls in love with Christian Grey. Their relationship is complicated and is conducted very discreetly. Their passion for each other is mutual. However, Anastasia Steele ends up having a lot of questions that stir in her mind because of the many secrets that her lover keeps. For instance, Christian Grey admits to her that an older woman actually taught him a lot of what he knows in the area of romantic affairs. However, this unconventional indoctrination happened to him when she was already a mature woman and he just a teenager. Apparently, they are still close friends and this becomes a source of both curiosity and concern in Anastasia’s mind. This is only one of the multiple details that paint a profile of Christian Grey’s mysterious persona.

Okay, However I Like The Orange Blossom Caress Bar More, August 22, 2014
I purchased the Caress soap bar of Emerald Lush Gardenia & White Tea Essence at my work due to my previous usage of the white peach and silky orange blossom bar. The Caress Lush Gardenia & White Tea essence does do the job of moisturizing and cleaning the skin. However, I would have to admit that I still plan on purchasing the Caress white peach and silky orange blossom bar over this lush gardenia because of the scent.

Kaskade Greatest Hits, August 22, 2014
This 17 song set of I Remember by Kaskade is a bargain for what I paid. I say this because many of the songs invoke a high energy feeling and are of a sunny/buoyant vibe. I greatly enjoy Atmosphere and Room for Happiness. However, this collection of I Remember by Kaskade is one of the cd sets where you can actually enjoy each song from beginning to end. Speaking of which, this music cd opens on an expressive note with the Strobelite Mix of I Remember and ends with the catchy mashup of I’ll Never Dream I’m In Love (Kaskade puts his music mix with the blending of Alex Gaudino’s I’m In Love). I Remember by Kaskade is great to get if you are familiar with at least 2-3 DJ’s (Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Hardwell, Paul Van Dyk, Dash Berlin, Afrojack, Zedd etc.) from the electronic/dance field and/or just simply enjoy music from the trance/dance/genre field.

Potential And Power From Just One Person, August 22, 2014
We ended up seeing Lucy because my husband gently persuaded me to see it (this was one of the summer movies that caught his attention). Lucy centers around the plot of a woman named Lucy (Scarlett Johansson) who ends up simultaneously making the best of her remaining life and doing some amazing feats after unexpectedly being given a substance that allows her to use more of her brainpower/potential. She ends up contacting a noted academic (Morgan Freeman) who she knows can help her make sense of what has happened to her. Lucy is also literally on the run for her life because the man and his entourage who spearheaded the distribution of this drug are extremely dangerous and violent people. This is a good movie to watch for those who like films that play with the concept of human potential and the probability of improving on brainpower.

An Unlikely Team Joining Together, August 22, 2014
Guardians of the Galaxy is also another film that I agreed to watch because my husband really wanted to see this film, especially because he loves science fiction films. Additionally, I decided to give the movie a chance because I saw an article where Anna Faris’s husband (Chris Pratt) mentioned with joy how he likes to dab barbecue sauce on her nose. I enjoyed Anna Faris’s humorous and down to earth characters in the Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 and Playboy Bunny movies. Naturally, I figured that Chris Pratt is probably a nice person too. For some reason, this got me curious to check out the movie because the intense level of love that he seemingly expressed for his wife with the barbecue sauce quote had me thinking that level of happiness would translate to his performance on Guardians of the Galaxy. Fortunately, I was correct (Pratt plays a ringleader by the name of Star Lord),and I noticed that Zoe Saldana,Bradley Cooper, and Benicio Del Toro are also in the movie (among other multiple famous celebrities as well). The Guardians of the Galaxy center around a group of intergalactic misfits who end up unintentionally banding together to keep a certain object out of the hands of a group of beings that would destroy the planet Terra (appears similar in atmosphere as the earth). They must be careful how they go about it and accomplish the mission quickly as this object is worth a prodigious amount in their financial currency as well as the potential of great weapon power. Adding to the situation is that they must also do it without clashing too much with each other.Guardians of the Galaxy is a fun movie to watch for those into science fiction.

Musically Sticking Up For The One You Love, August 22, 2014
Luckily, I actually heard of Angel by Natasha Bedingfield back in 2009 and decided to give this song a chance because of my familiarity with her Unwritten and Pocketful of Sunshine songs. Angel is a romantic ballad about someone who loves her man a lot and cares to give her best in the relationship. Angel by Natasha Bedingfield is perfect for those who like happy love songs.

Creating Your Own Path In Life Anthem, August 22, 2014
I decided to give Shake It Off by Taylor Swift a listen after seeing it featured on Yahoo news and due to being exposed to her music from her Speak Now and Red cds. Shake It Off is a poppy music version of keeping your head high in the face of critics and embracing the good in her life. I do feel that she does do her best to honor the message of her song. For instance, some of her talented critics are quick to judge her for singing about her past heartbreaks in songs. However, in her defense, her life is continually in the spotlight and is most likely going to be for years to come (yes I do believe that the shelf life of her career is going to be long, similar to that of Madonna's). What this had to do with the song's review and singing about her heartbreaks is that I truly believe that both her songs about past loves and that of Shake It Off may be a kind of musical therapy for her. It is better that she copes with heartbreak and betrayal through her songs and music rather than healing any pain through a life that would predispose her to getting addicted to a high level of drinking/alcoholism via getting dangerously drunk in club/bars and/or turning to a life of toxic drug use. Shake It Off embodies a positive message of how she advocates brushing off life's challenges in a constructive way by giving all you got and looking for the silver lining (positive) while turning things around. Currently, there is also a youtube video available for those who are still undecided about whether or not to obtain the song.

Musical Heat, August 22, 2014
Fireball by Pitbull (feat. John Ryan) came to my attention via one of the Amazon U.S. music recommendation (probably due to my previous purchases and reviews of Pitbull’s music). I admit that this song reminds me a little of the “Hot Hot Hot” song, but with a unique spin from Pitbull that stays clear of plagiarism territory. From my perspective, Fireball plays with the idea of having fun in life while enjoying relationships and/or friendships with other people. Fireball is also very heavily dance music genre type of song that can put a person in a good mood.

Charismatic Person In One’s Heart, August 22, 2014
I had to give Giant In My Heart by Kiesza a chance because of previously purchasing, enjoying, and reviewing her Hideaway song (April 2014). Giant In My Heart expands on the Hideaway feeling by her singing the lyrics of how it is tricky to get someone she has feelings for out of her heart regardless of her attempts to try. I only wish that I understood if the Giant In My Heart meaning also denotes that the person she is singing about is larger than life to her (metaphorically speaking) or some other meaning. Either way, Giant In My Heart by Kiesza is great to get if you previously enjoyed and liked her Hideaway song.

Romantic Sunshine?, August 22, 2014
Lovers On the Sun by David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) is a cheerful dance/electronic song where the lyrics denote a message of two people who have romantic feelings for each other. However, I just wish that I knew if Lovers On the Sun means the idea of two lovers enjoying each other during the summer (happy/positive time) of their lives or the concept of two lovers coming together during the summertime and/or when the sun shines the brightest outside. Regardless of the meaning, Lovers On the Sun by David Guetta (feat. Sam Martin) is a take it easy in life type of electronic/dance music song.

Models of Persistence, August 22, 2014
Superheroes by the Script plays with the message and/or story of multiple people who are still chasing after their dreams and are persistent even in the face of obstacles and/or indicators that would breed temptation to give up. I like how the music Script enveloped the message of the Superheroes song in the message that continually going after your goals regardless of what surfaces in life can even improve a person and/or strengthen what is already good/positive about them (hence the Superheroes meaning).

Holding On For Better Times?, August 22, 2014
Listening to One Minute More by Capital Cities on the radio (DC101) reminded me of their other happy song Safe and Sound. I have to admit that the only thing that threw me off when trying to decipher the meaning of the song was the video. I only say this because One Minute More seems to embody a positive and healing message of seeing the sun (good) in life, but avoid hesitating too much (with the lyrics I can’t wait one minute more) and they also mention the sun shining in the chorus. I am aware that I may be reading too much into it and that the song’s meaning may be something completely different from what I had in mind. Either way, One Minute More by Capital Cities is a meaningful alternative rock/indie rock song.

Simply Enjoying Each Other’s Company, August 22, 2014
Come Over by Clean Bandit (feat. Stylo G.) is a melodic song that includes a well- timed music collaboration. I say this because I liked the timing of the singing with the female singer and then the other musician when he was singing the come over part. I’m guessing that Come Over is basically a carefree love song about two lovers who enjoy each other’s company. Either Way, Come Over by Clean Bandit (feat. Stylo G) is a strong music collaboration that combines dancehall and electronic beats.

Trying To Quit Somebody, August 22, 2014
I chose to give the song “Ghost” by Ella a chance due to watching and enjoying her haunting and captivating song that is called Glow on youtube. Naturally, I wanted to purchase Glow but it was not yet available for purchase, so I went with an intuitive feeling to get Ghost. “Ghost” is also a song that draws a listener in because she is singing about someone who has left an impact on her and is singing about her though process of trying to figure out how to best deal with it. Henderson also carefully projects her voice during the song in a way that conveys she is really putting all of her spirit and emotion to the song. Ghost by Ella is great for those who are open to listening to pop songs with hints of R&B and synth-pop.

True Love At First Sight, August 22, 2014
I admit that I first heard Angel in Blue Jeans by Train on a local radio station (fresh fm 94.) and also on iheartradio during that same week. Angel In Blue Jeans captures the feeling of how someone fell in love with a person so hard during the early stages of their relationship. Additionally, Angel In Blue Jeans captures the message that they are very glad that the person came into their life because of their heart of gold/having a big heart (hence the Angel in Blue Jeans meaning). Angel In Blue Jeans by Train is perfect to get if you enjoy any of their previous songs and/or pop/soft rock songs.

Leaving A Powerful Impression On Another?, August 22, 2014
Bang Bang by Arianna Grande, Jessie J, and Nicky Minaj was also one of the songs that drew my attention when I first heard it (if only I remember if it was from iheartradio or the radio on my cd player). Anyhow, it is a catchy beat and is basically a rebellious female’s anthem about going after someone who catches her romantic interest. Rollercoaster of Happy Emotions, August 22, 2014
Rollercoaster by Bleachers is actually a heartfelt song about someone singing in regards to a person who they were close to from the past. This individual left a positive and memorable presence in their mind. The singer seems to recall the carefree and fun times that went with it. I had previously heard their song “Better” on the local radio station DC101 and was fine with hearing it. However, it was something about the mood that this song (Rollercoaster)captured (when I first heard it through the same radio station) that compelled me to get it because of the enjoying life type of vibe that the song conveys.

One of Hillary Duff’s 2014 Love Songs?, August 22, 2014
I admit that I only heard of All About You by Hillary Duff once I heard this song on the radio this week. I also decided to give this song a chance due to being familiar with her Come Clean song (it was played frequently on the radio when I was living in California), and her With Love tune. All About You ventures into romantic music territory because the tune seems to be about two people that are mutually attracted to each other. All About You by Hillary Duff also contains an interesting music mix of pop and a folksy music vibe. It would make either a good summer tune (although autumn is just around the corner) and/or just a song to listen to for letting go of any dramatic emotions and letting in happier feelings.

A Love Match Literally Made On Earth and In Heaven, July 23, 2014
I confess that I purchased Education Of A Guardian Angel by Annie Stillwater Gray on exactly Friday July 4, 2014 and received it by Wednesday July 9, 2014. So far, I have reached paged 437 (as the writer’s spirit guide gets ready to take his finals on the spirit guide plane within a spirit guide university)of this very original 597 page book. However, I intend to finish it this week and post an updated review within six months (intuitively, I feel guided to do this because it would give me time to post an update after reading it at least 2-3 more times). I discovered this book via a personalized book recommendation on Amazon U.S. (probably due to my previous interest in books about the afterlife, heaven, guardian angels, spirit guides, spirit helpers, the higher self/soul, strengthening/developing the power of my imagination, increasing my intuition etc.). Please know that I humbly admit that I’m aware that others may question whether or not I’m crazy for posting this review and endorsing this book. However, my own interest in deepening my own relationship/connection with my higher self/spirit helpers/guardian angels/spirit guides compelled me to purchase this book. I do not dub myself as a person who knows it all and/or spiritual guru (I humbly admit that the more I learn, the more I realize that there is still so much for me to know). Additionally, I’m mainly sharing this book as more of a wayshower and/or messenger to the uniqueness of Education Of A Guardian Angel by Annie Stillwater Gray. With those caveats out of the way, I feel guided to share some of the astonishing details included in this book: A soul must gain the right to become a spirit guide, but is also obviously given a choice on whether they are willing to take on the task. The spirit guide’s role is to help their assigned human successfully navigate the challenges and gifts of earth life. One of their missions in sharing this book and their story is to fulfill their life purposes in helping other humans on earth to connect with their spirit guides. The author gives acknowledgement to fellow writer Dolores Cannon and Ozark Mountain Publishing for helping her book to become a published reality. Gray’s spirit guide’s name is currently Darcimon Stillwater (he’s had multiple names) and his last earth incarnation was during Jane Austen’s time (his death was in 1836). He was alive in England from 1785 to 1836. He is the author’s assigned spirit guide due to the great love they shared with each other during multiple earth lifetimes (with one of their earliest incarnations starting in Egypt). More details of their love story are obviously included in this book. Page 324: Annie Stillwater Gray and her spirit guide (Darcimon Stillwater) have a soul/spirit contract to fulfill via helping other humans make strong connections with their spirit guides. One reason is due to helping others make the connection to their personal karma and what they are meant to do while alive (which from what I more clearly understand via this book is that connecting to one’s spirit guides helps to more men and women be more aware of their divine life contracts). The medium/channel of intuition is one of the multiple tools that spirit guides use to help humans. The book emphasizes that every last person living on this earth (regardless of who they are) has at least one spirit guide assigned to help them. Spirit guides can more easily help a person if their assigned human is aware of their presence and more easily open to the signs of assistance that are being sent their (the human being’s) way. One of Darcimon Stillwater’s “training” sessions involve him being an apprentice to other spirit guides during a major world war where French prisoners are being held in a German prison camp (although I reluctantly admit that I’m still in the process of making out whether the setting is during WWI or WWII). The spirit guide (Darcimon Stillwater) is an apprentice to another spirit guide named Sashma. Sashma is watching over a French prisoner named Frederic that is being held in a cell and endured harsh interrogation from one of the high ranking German officers. I’m guessing the time period may be WWII because the Third Reich is briefly referenced (chapter 11). I admit that the author got me interested in taking up painting more as a creative outlet/hobby when she was sharing one of her experiences with painting (on one of the spirit guide planes) prior to her current incarnation (page 434). I once came across a book called Brave Intuitive Painting (via a personalized Amazon U.S. recommendation) by Flora S. Bowley, but held off on buying it because I was uncertain on if such a book would be for me. However, the author’s (Annie Stillwater Gray) sharing of channeling her creativity via painting inspired me to explore my creativity via painting and to consider purchasing Brave Intuitive Painting (within 5-6 months). There is much more enthralling details included in this book for those who are spiritually hungry to know more on how spirit guide communication flows.

Pioneering Analysis of Relationships, July 23, 2014
At times, I look at Yahoo news online and my free local newspaper for ideas on what might be good to watch (in ways of television and/or movies). However, I have to credit finding out about Masters Of (starring Martin Sheen and Lizzy Caplan) through Entertainment Weekly magazine around 3-4 weeks ago. I was looking through Entertainment Weekly magazine during one of my scheduled lunch breaks during my overnight shift at work when I spotted an article about the Masters Of television show (starring Martin Sheen and Lizzy Caplan) and pictures of scenes from the show. The author of the article wrote it in a way that persuaded me to know more about the show and eventually purchased the dvd on July 3, 2014. The twelve episodes keep one at suspense and the dvd has a jacket that features a brief summary of what each of the 12 episodes are about. Please know that I only have the intent of respect for their real-life partners. However, the scenes of some of the “research work” going on between Martin Sheen’s character of Dr. Masters and Lizzy Caplan’s character of Virginia Johnson highlight strong chemistry and an off the chart dose of intense passion/ steam. Beau Bridges, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Teddy Sears, and Nicholas D’Agosto are listed on the back of the dvd as some of the actors and actresses on Masters Of(the third word is left out due the fact that I’m concerned that writing the third word may clash with Amazon’s terms of profanity in written words) . The back of the dvd also features pictures of the various actors and actresses that are featured in the show. The front of the dvd shows the picture of Martin Sheen as Dr. Masters and Lizzy Caplan as Virginia Johnson. There is a quoted text of the Rolling Stone magazine review of the Masters Of dvd calling this television show “The Best New Show” while the TV guide review on the back says “stimulating and satisfying.” Disc one contains the first three episodes, disco two features episodes 4-6, disc three has episodes 7-9, and the fourth disc has the last three episodes. The following are the special features included within the four dvds for the Masters Of television show: Cast & Crew Commentary On the Pilot Episode Deleted Scenes Making Masters Of A Masterful Portrayal: Michael Sheen As Dr. Masters Ahead Of Her Time: Lizzy Kaplan As Virginia Johnson

Program Purchase That I Discovered Through being Part of Nightingale Conant's E-mail list, July 23, 2014
I preface this review by acknowledging that I do work with some co-workers that are actually nice to me. I'm only briefly mentioning my job as a way to explain away my avoidance in publicly sharing my income. I admit that Prosperity Consciousness: How To Tap Your Unlimited Wealth by Fredric Lehrman caught my attention due to my interest and intent to at least return back to the $50,000 a year income bracket (within 2-4 years) that my husband and I were lucky enough to be in from 2009 until as recently as 2012. Additionally, as recently as 2012, I was able to easily pay 8 months of rent at once and still have plenty of money for groceries, using public transit in the dc. area, and other essentials. Please know that I'm thankful for my job and I'm aware that many of my critics would argue that I'm not being humble or "right" for wanting to re-enter the income bracket that my husband and I enjoyed as recently as 2012. However, if wanting to at least regain the financial income that my husband and I had that gave us a feeling of plenty (within 2-4 years) is not humbling myself and/or wrong, then I do not care to be what is considered humble/modest and/or right. Please also know that I prefer to keep my current financial income a secret, but not because I'm ashamed of it. I'm actually thankful for the money I get (regardless of whether it is similar to what my fellow coworkers get) while simultaneously being in the process of aiming to get back to at least the 2009-2012 financial income level. My public silence on the financial income that I currently make is due to my awareness that fellow Walmart associates might be looking at this review. There is fierce competition even at my (non-manager)job level through my employment and I know full well that I would open a Pandora's box that is best kept closed if I were to reveal to my coworkers and/or the public how much I get paid as a Walmart employee. .I had to also reveal only certain details of my situation to also set the stage on justifying why I prefer to postpone writing a future update on my results of this program until at least August 1, 2018.With this preface out of the way, the following are some of the helpful details included in the Prosperity Consciousness program by Frederic Lehrman: Planting thoughts in the mind similar to seeds in a garden Discovering And Changing certain beliefs around money The five account system for saving money Playing "prosperity scrabble and channeling surplus energy into a business that serves others Channeling wealth into all areas of life and having a stress-free relationship with money.

Continuing Saga of Jake, Finn, Princess Bubblegum etc., July 23, 2014
Both my husband and I enjoy the Adventure Time series. My husband purchased a season 7 pass and has it saved in his itunes account (which was how we found out about the new episodes). The episodes get zanier this season (such as the reaction that Finn understandably feels after finding his father or someone that may only have been pretending to be his father and just playing along). Then there is the episode that has Princess Bubblegum recruiting Jake and Finn’s help to save the Candy Kingdom from the Sky witch, after rootbeer man died while trying to help save it.

Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy’s Colorful Life, July 23, 2014
I confess that I was intrigued with purchasing this Globe Collector’s Issue of Jackie: 20 Years After Her Tragic Death after spotting it in one of the magazine racks at my Walmart job. I bought this issue on July 5th (the price was $5.99 for this single issue before my employee discount). Anyhow, this issue contains some very juicy details of the late Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy’s life such as: Page 24: Jacqueline Kennedy was aware of JFK’s affairs and had a feeling that her husband would stay married to her. Additionally, she was known to have wit, charm, and a sense of humor. It is listed that her and Queen Elizabeth had a chat about their passion for horses back in 1961. Pages 26-27: Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy’s father in law Joe became a wealthy businessman through real estate, the stock market, and being one of the only legal importers of Gordon’s Gin and Dewar’s Scotch. Apparently, it is listed that Joe heard the rumors of JFK’s affairs and believed that wives need to put up with that stuff (husbands having mistresses). However, according to this magazine issue, Joe did not want to risk her leaving his son before the 1960 election and is said to have carefully paid off Jackie one million dollars for sticking by JFK’s side throughout the campaign trail (it is written that the one million dollars was actually a drop in the bucket of his immense wealth). Pages 54-55:Jacqueline Kennedy married into a life of great opulence when she became the wife of Ari Onassis (he was estimated to be worth 4 billion dollars at the time of his death). However, both of her second husband’s children were said to not be the most comfortable with her as their father’s new wife. Naturally, it was because they had hoped that their father would have remarried their mother Tina Livanos. Despite this tension, Ari Onassis had great love and patience for her. However, it is listed that Ari Onassis went back into the arms of his previous mistress (opera star Maria Callas) after he found a love letter that his wife (the late Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy) wrote to her former beau (attorney Roswell Gilpatric). He died a short time later and Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy inherited 26 million dollars after his passing. Onassis’s daughter Christina went to court in vain to try to keep Jacqueline Kennedy from obtaining the 26 million dollars. Jackie’s business advisor and later lover Maurice Templesman helped Jackie to transform the 26 million dollars into a several hundred million dollar fortune. However, in later pages, it is written that Templesman stayed married to his wife while keeping Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy as his lover. Pages 56-65: Frank Sinatra, Warren Beatty, movie mogul Michael Cacoyannis, New York writer and newsman Pete Hamill, 70’s Washington D.C. social king Alejandro Orfila, and American Ballet Company artist John Kriza are known to be among the multiple lovers that Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy had as she got older.

Major Accomplishments, July 23, 2014
The Man Who Tapped The Secrets Of the Universe by Glen Clark tells the story of Walter Russell, a man of many accomplishments. Among some of the interesting details in this book: Page 16: Despite not formally studying architecture,he was credited to have designed and build twenty million dollars worth of buildings in New York City such as: the Hotel des Artistes on West 67th street, the first Hotel Pierre occupying a whole Park Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets, Alwyn Court at 58th and Seventh Avenue, and the Gothic Studio opposite the Museum of Natural History on 79th street. Russell is also credited with the duplex studio apartment idea. Page 17: He had been elected President of the Society of Arts and Sciences around the time that a medal was to be given out to Thomas Edison. He did a portrait sculpture for Thomas Edison and eventually portrait busts for other people stemming from the success of the Edison sculpture (page 18). Walter Russell is also listed towards the end of the book as having been a guest at the White House, first as an official painter and then as an official sculptor.

The Many Rides of Life Involving The Venture Family And Employees, July 23, 2014
I admit that my husband got me interested in watching the Venture Brothers series. I watch this and other cartoons both as a way of stimulating and increasing my current creativity and for further understanding my husband’s likes and inner world. Both of us watch a wide range of tv shows just with different perspectives. For example, my tv watching interests lean towards the range of Adventure Time (which I got my husband interested in), Merlin, Masters Of (the show starring Martin Sheen and Lizzy Caplan: I must leave out the second word to the name of the show due to Amazon’s term of posting what might be considered profane), Sherlock, Mad Men, Devious Maids,Entourage, Scandal, House of Cards, Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony, The Care Bears, Winx Club,Witches Of East End, Once Upon A Time, Charmed, Wizards of Wavery Place, Naruto, Avatar, Absolutely Fabulous, A Bit Of Fry & Laurie, The Black Adder, Alice In Wonderland etc. In contrast, my husband’s tv interests lean towards the following shows: Red vs. Blue, Castle, Lucy: Daughter Of The Devil, Futurama, Ugly Americans, Burn Notice, Archer, Neighbors From Hell, Phineas and Ferb, Dr. Who, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, American Dad, Animaniacs, Chowder, Creature Comforts etc. We started out watching some of the beginning episodes of Venture Brothers together and he persuaded me to start watching season 3. My husband has multiple seasons of Venture Brothers on his itunes account and already watched many of the episodes across the different seasons of this series. However, he was willing to re-watch season 3 with me. The one episode from season 3 that sticks out the most to me was when Rusty Venture was trying to secure an important deal with a high ranking military official. He was not able to do so, but some “stranger” came to Rusty Venture’s rescue willing to look after his sons and rehabilitate the business. The stranger also had some interesting superpowers that facilitated the ability of Rusty being hypnotized back to his childhood to uncover the subconscious program. Unearthing this hidden psychological software indirectly related to why Rusty Venture needed assistance to begin with. Towards the end of this episode, I was still trying to guess where exactly this stranger came from and even asked my husband since he was already familiar with the show. Venture Brothers season 3 is best for those who are fine with watching adult themed cartoons.

2014 Grammy Medley, July 23, 2014
I purchased this Grammy Awards 2014 cd around at least 3-4 months ago at my Walmart job. There are 18 songs on this cd from some of today’s popular artists across various music genres. For instance, the GrammyAwards 2014 cd starts out with the “Locked Out of Heaven” pop/rock song by Bruno Mars and ends with the contemporary country song “Take A Little Ride” by Jason Aldean. Grammy Awards 2014 is great for those who like to listen to an eclectic range of music by various artists.

Tasty and Cheap, July 23, 2014
These Little Debbie Zebra Cakes were often purchased by my late adoptive mother during both my pre-teen and teen years. She would buy these as an inexpensive household treat for the whole family. These memories were lodged into my subconscious when I decided to buy some during one of my scheduled lunch breaks. These zebra cakes were just as luscious tasting as I remember with just the right amount of frosting and sweetness. Three of my coworkers saw me with them and I freely shared some after they too showed interest in eating one of the zebra cake packs. The Little Debbie Zebra Cake box I bought has 10 snack cakes that come in two per package. Fortunately, I still have managed to lose three pounds (since my last posted reviews in June) because I do my best to be careful in the portion size when I do indulge and strive to walk at least two to four miles at least 3-4 times a week.

Pleasant Tasting Water Enhancers, July 23, 2014
I was looking for some affordable and decent water enhancers to make the tap water in my apartment better tasting. I actually am able to drink most bottled waters without needing an enhancer. However, I sometimes have to turn to drinking tap water and frequently look for ways to make cold tap water at least bearable to drink. I spotted Bethenny Frankel’s water enhancers at my job and wanted something to help me drink more tap water while enhancing my weight loss goals (I have successfully lost 29 pounds since October 2013 and both determined and intend to release more pounds). Additionally, I felt guided to eventually try the white cherry, blueberry, and fuji apple flavors because they are affordable. Out of the three flavors I would have to say that the fuji apple is my favorite. However, any of the blueberry, white cherry, and blueberry flavors make the tap or bottled water taste even better.

Softens Hair, July 23, 2014
I use this Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Souffle (contains Agave Nectar & Flax Seed Oil) as a hair moisturizing agent (combined with the Crème of Nature Argan Oil Styke & Shine Foaming Mousse). I spotted this product at my Walmart job and decided to take a chance with it after noticing the listing that it was for thick curly hair. I planned on relaxing my hair that week and decided to take a chance with purchasing this product and I’m glad that I did. I applied The Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Souffle in my hair after I was done shampooing and conditioning my hair. The product blended well into my hair and left it pleasantly smooth. From my experience, this product is also good for relaxed hair types and/or those who must wash (shampoo and condition)their hair every day and/or every other day at the least (I happen to have hair that must be washed daily and/or every other day regardless of if it is in its naturally curly or chemically relaxed state).

Moistures Pretty Well, July 23, 2014
I was looking for a couple of hair products that would moisturize my newly relaxed hair. This is especially because I have hair that must be shampooed and conditioned every day and/or every other day at the least (regardless of whether it is in a naturally curly or chemically straightened state) and need hair products that complement hair that must be frequently washed. Fortunately, I came across this brand of Crème of Nature Argan Oil Style and Shine Foaming Mousse at my job. I used this in conjunction with Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & hibiscus Curling Souffle. The results were spectacular, because the foaming mousse blended right into my hair and did not leave a sticky or super oily film.

This Dark And Lovely Relaxer Does Work Well, July 23, 2014
I must preface this review by stating that I do believe that beauty comes in all skin complexions, hair textures, hair lengths, and whether one has worn a hair weave or not. Additionally, I strive to only relax my hair after at least 6-8 months after the last straightening (the last time I had my hair relaxed was around November 2013 and the last time was during April 2012). Due to this, I can understand that my results may differ from others who I believe are writing on this website with the best intents to inform. I use to keep my hair naturally curly from 2003-2011. However, I started my natural hair journey at the time I was 22.5 years old (around June 2003) as a thinner woman weighing around 135 pounds and it became harder for me to stay a natural when I started gaining weight around the time I was 23.5 years old and then even more by late 2004/early 2005. By spring to summer 2011, it was extremely hard for me to keep my hair natural and even more so difficult by the time I gave up and turned once again to the hair relaxer by April 2012 (my current Amazon profile picture is from Dec. 2011). Overall, I would say that I successfully managed to keep my hair naturally without using a chemical relaxer for 8 years and five months (I even did two "big chops-major haircuts back in 2005 and 2006). As most can tell from my picture, I prefer to keep my hair long and chemically relax it at least once a year. What I am trying to say is that I must be a size six or smaller and/or have attained financially freedom if I ever return to keeping my hair natural and/or keeping it shorter. This is because it is common knowledge that some who wear their hair natural (regardless of skin complexion) have to endure bullying from others who may not yet have realized that beauty comes in all hair textures and skin complexions. However, it is even harder to endure bullying when you are in the process of losing weight and wear your hair both naturally curly and/or short length. Yes, my current Amazon profile picture is actually of my hair blow dried and flat ironed straight from a Virginia mall beauty salon that I went to back in December 2011. The long hair is actually all of my own hair, but I do not consider myself better than others who wear their hair short or use hair weaves (due to my view that beauty comes in all body weights, skin complexions, and hair lengths/hair textures and that women of various races are capable of growing long hair). During my senior year of high school, I was actually lucky to see that growing chemically straightened hair was possible because one of the females in my high school had relaxed hair and the longest hair (yes,it was actually her own hair).
What this has to do with my review is that I used this Dark and Lovely Hair relaxer on my very coarse and curly 3b hair. I bought this relaxer from my Walmart job and chose the Dark and Lovely brand because one of my coworkers (who is highly knowledgeable about beauty products) recommended the Dark and Lovely relaxers that were fortunately available. I had to buy two Dark and Lovely relaxers due to the length, coarseness, and thickness of my hair. This relaxer made my long but coarse hair very smooth and wavy like to the point that one of my coworkers actually asked me if I was wearing remy hair. Some other coworkers during that same month also asked me if the long hair is mine (I politely explained that yes the hair is mine). I am blessed to have coarse hair that grows fast, long, and can take a relaxer well (provided I hold off for at least six months at a time) due to inheriting the genes for growing hair fast from my late biological mother's Native American/Menominee Indian side of the family (my biological aunts also have naturally long hair). My husband helped me with some of the steps of making sure that I evenly applied the relaxer (I could have done it by myself, but felt relieved when he expressed willingness to help me). My husband does not care whether I relax or leave my hair natural (or even whether it is long or short). He only feels strongly that I keep my hair dark brown due to his belief that it enhances my exotic beauty more. Anyhow,I left the relaxer in my hair for around 19 minutes. The Dark and Lovely relaxer worked perfectly on my hair, but the only caveat was that I needed more shampoo after using the shampoos that came with the kit (fortunately I had some Suave shampoo in my bathroom during that time). Please also keep in mind that I used chemical relaxer back in November 2013 before using it again on my (type 3b spirally curly hair) this past Saturday (July 12, 2014). This relaxer is best for women who have coarse hair that is type 3 curly or type 4 curly (one can decipher their hair type through naturallycurlydotcom, essencedotcom, and/or ouidad.com).

Flavorful and Inexpensive Drink Mix, July 23, 2014
I first started getting into drinking Tang juice mix back in 2001. I was still in the navy and the ship I was on was required to stop by places in the Middle East where it was normal for the temperature to easily reach in the upper 90’s/early 100’s. One of my first jobs in the navy involved me working outside and water was just not enough for me to stay energized and hydrated. I started mixing Orange Tang in my drinking water which gave a pleasant taste to the water and myself more energy. I recently bought more Orange Tang mix from my job (including the pineapple orange mix) and find the purchase still worthwhile in both cost and making the tap water more drinkable. Orange Tang is good for those who are looking for an affordable drink mix that gives energy and is palatable.
