I Stella Carrier must preface sharing my Amazon purchases of 2007-2017 for money investment/money ideas/writing ideas and other uses by making it clear that me doing this has very little to do with my current food services job. The truth is that I am fully aware of how fortunate I am to have the job that I do at the University of Maryland College Park food service. My last day at work was May 17, 2017 and I am approved to return August 13, 2017. Many of my coworkers are actually easy to work with and I have fair managers. I admit that I am a temporary seasonal employee who realized more and more within the past two weeks that I would like a year round/more permanent job, and this indirectly influences some of my thoughts and behaviors at times. I have to preface this online activity because I have been getting too many well-meaning online communications in the form of help thinking that the way I am conducting myself has to do with how I feel about my coworkers. However, that is far from the case and I am actually aware that it is up to me in steering my career/job destiny towards having year round more permanent employment. I felt it necessary to preface this so that it is understood that how I am conducting myself online has more to do with wanting to improve my writing and communication skills while working on my year round employment goals which is actually separate and compartmentalized from my temporary/seasonal job.
