note to my creative self and I am delighted in acknowledgement for others who took the time to look at these posts whether supporter, rival, or critic. For practical reasons I decided to finish the portion of sharing these online Amazon reviews on February 23, 2011 with page 258 of my personalized Amazon pages of currently 2,736 Amazon reviews (start date June 15, 2008 with the Madonna Hard Candy Review being my first Amazon review and most recent Amazon the review from Sunday May 7, 2017 of the book Writer with a Day Job by Aine Greaney) by finishing this post with the Amazon review of the Forbes Magazine sponsored documentary of Forbes Luxe II Mega Toys that I had the chance to view and purchase from Amazon Video.

slight correction; I had to make the difficult decision of omitting one review from this post for personal reasons, but I updated this post to finish on page 262 of my personalized Amazon online reviews with the January 28, 2011 Amazon online review of Independent Women part one by Destiny's Child for intuitive reasons.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Informative and Joyful Analysis of Walt Disney"April 9, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
"How to Be Like Walt: Capturing the Disney Magic Every Day of Your Life" is a very compelling book by Pat Williams that (as others have noted) is part self-help and part biographical. I find this book to be more on the biographical side, but it is still worthwhile to read. The reader is treated to some of the very important information and wisdom that Walt Disney put to practical use on the way, and how he turned temporary setbacks into hidden blesssings. For example, on page 62 Pat mentions how Walt ended up losing the idea of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to his former boss. From this temporary setback, it is cited how Walt picked himself back up, and eventually used the power of his creativity and imagination to create Mickey Mouse. There are lessons sprinkled throughout the book on how to tap into the ability to translate imagination and creativity to practical use just as Walt did (through his creation of the Walt Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks). The following are some of the lessons and information that Pat Williams writes in this interesting biography/self-help guide on Walt Disney:

1) Chapter 3 on Imagination Unlimited: This is where the lessons such as unleashing your imagination are shared, and details given on how Walt Disney was even invited to the White House to show his cartoons (this was due to the fact cited that President Franklin D. Roosevelt admired what Walt's concept of what Mickey Mouse represented.
2)Chapter 4 on Animated Leadership: Information is given on how Walt inspired the spirit of creativity and innovation in his Disney employees.
3) Chapter 11 on Living for the Next Generation: Details are given on how Walt visualized the Mickey Mouse Club, and had the midas touch in spotting creative talent.
4)Chapter 12: A Man of Singular Focus: Facts are given on the origin of the "Mary Poppins" movie that is widely know as a children's classic. The birth and origin of the "EPCOT" center is also discussed.
5) Chapter 15: Walt Lives: There is a really heart-touching story of how Walt Disney made time to fullfill a seven year old boy's wish, who was about to pass away (back in 1955). The boy's only wish was to ride Walt Disney's train. Walt Disney personally made time for this little boy, and even ordered his staff to keep what he did anonymous (which fortunately they honored his request, and kept it from the public until after his death).

"How to Be Like Walt Disney" is a very heart-warming biography that gives good information on the lessons that anyone can study from Walt's life regardless of what industry they may be in. In addition, the author made sure to have a delicate balance of biographical and self-help information in this book that highlighted vital details of Walt Disney's legacy. This book is a very uplifting read to have if you wish to read biographies that are informative and inspiring.

This review is from: Aphrodite (Audio CD)
"Aphrodite" by Kylie Minogue is a very edgy and fun compilation that has some very upbeat dancepop tracks. She shows her romantic and sensual side with songs such as "All the Lovers" and "Aphrodite". "All the Lovers" appears to be about her expressing her intense feelings for her lover, who she feels is unique in a good way. "Aphrodite" seems to be about her message to her fans and critics alike that she is back. My favorite songs by Kylie in this album are "Too Much","Cupid Boy", and "Closer". "Too Much" seems to be about her coming to terms with the intense feelings that she feels for her love interest. "Cupid Boy" is a daring musical number about how she is drawn to the light and power of the one that she craves romance from. She sings about them putting her in a joyful state of "being in heaven" with the lyrics "I'm in Heaven". "Closer" is a catchy song about her pursuing someone that she feels a strong connection with,(as evidenced when she sings that they are pulling her closer). I would have to say that "Closer" is my overall favorite song on this "Aphrodite" collection because of the combination of lyrics and music. "Everything is Beautiful" is also a very good song. "Everything is Beautiful" appears to be an uplifting musical track of seeing the beauty of many things in life (the piano musical at the end closes the song nicely). "Aphrodite" by Kylie Minogue is great to have if you enjoy dance and/or pop music.

"The Tao of Music": Sound Psychology is a very beautifully written book. In summary, this book is about the healing powers of music. The following is some of the helpful and interesting data that is covered in this unique guide on using music to transform your life:

4) Choosing One's music: (page 355)Details are given on how to customize music listings in alignment with personal preferences and goals.
5) The link between music and creativity: On Chapter 23 of page 233 the author discusses how a creative woman named Charlotte taps into her creativity to create one of a kind garments for her customers with music. In addition, Charlotte made a life-changing decision to play the harp, and the benefits that she experienced as a result of this are also discussed(such as her hand motions becoming more effortless).
6) Inner Guide (page 371): This is one of my favorite chapters because it is discussed how to combine the art of music with going within yourself for answers. I also appreciate that unique information is shared on how to use music to access your inner guide.

In my humble opinion, this book is very valuable to own if you are open-minded to combining the healing power of music with spiritual and psychological techniques in joyfully changing your life. This book is also good to have if you love music, and have been aware of the positive benefits that listening to music can bring for various life circumstances.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Mystic and Joyful Circle"April 3, 2011
"The Celtic Circle" is a very unique and uplifting cd that has a wide range of Celtic music artists. This is a two cd set that is best listened to when you are trying to increase you sense of peacefulness and calm because both cds contain many songs that are relaxing to the soul. The music does sound very mystical and healing because you are treated to such good musical tracks such as "Elysium" by Elysia and May It Be by Ryan & Rachel O'Donnel (although I also enjoy the version of "May It Be" sung by Enya as well). My personal musical tracks on this cd are:

"The Mytic's Dream" by Loreena McKennitt
"Runaway: by The Corrs
"Circle of Joy" by Lisa Lynne
"In a Lifetime" by Clannad & Bono of U2

The Celtic Circle: Legendary Music from a Mystic World is also going to be most likely enjoyed by many people who like to listen to music by Enya, Celtic Woman, New Age,the Pure Moods cd collections, and/or music with European influences.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Tour of Time Machine Fun"April 3, 2011

This review is from: The Time Machine Tour (DVD)
"The Time Machine Tour" by Darren Hayes is a very engaging and unique concert to watch. The title obviously gives away the time machine tour, and this is what makes it even more interesting to watch if you are open-minded to the potential concept of time machines. I say this because the songs that he selected go with the concept of time travel. Darren does a good job with ensuring that what he sings is in alignment with the theme. The following is the list of the music that he goes through in the concert:

Introduction

1.The Future Holds a Lion's Heart
2. Who Would Have Thought
3, How to Build a Time Machine
4, Neverland
5. Insatiable
6. On the Verge of Something Wonderful
7. Listen All You People
8. The Best Thing
9. The Only One
10. Void
11. Darkness
12. Step Into the Light
13. I Like the Way
14, Words
15. Casey
16. So Beautiful
17, I Want You
18. Affirmation
19. Me, Myself,& I
20 The Great Big Disconnect (basically the closing of the concert)

My favorite performances of the concert are "Insatiable", "On the Verge of Something Wonderful,""I Like the Way," "So Beautiful," and "I Want You" (this musical classic as many know is from timeframe when Darren was in Savage Garden). What I also enjoyed about the concert is how Darren puts alot of energy and passion into both his singing of the songs and the discussions that he gives before playing his music. For example, he gives a healing reminder when he implies that it is more joyful to make peace with anything in your life that you wish to have gone back in time to change instead of being concerned with what could have been done differently. Part of me already knew this, but it is always good to be reminded of such helpful insights when being entertained. I find many of his songs on his "Spin" cd to be enjoyable, and this "Time Machine Tour" dvd is an uplifting addition to my collection. The "Time Machine Tour" dvd is best enjoyed by anyone who likes pop, dance, and/or electronica music. On a side, this also reminds me (in a positive way) of the fun Adam Lambert Glam Nation Live dvd that I watched less than a week ago. I say this because Darren's music is very high-energy and creative (much like Adam's). In my humble opinion, the possibility of Adam Lambert and Darren Hayes performing at a concert together one day would be very exciting. I also must say that many who like any of Darren's songs (whether from his solo albums and/or Savage Garden) are also going to enjoy "The Time Machine Tour" dvd.

"Rick Steve's European Christmas" is a very captivating dvd to watch. The following are some of the places and facts that are covered in "Rick Steve's European Christmas":
London, England: Trafalgar Square and Somerset House
Drobak, Norway: December 13th Holiday of Santa Lucia
Oslo, Norway: Norwegian Girls Choir
Paris France: Best Dressed Tree Exhibit
Burgundy, France: The tradition of a winter picnic in the woods was feautured.
Nurenberg,Germany: Rick provided informative details of Martin Luther's legacy in this area.
Salzburg, Austria: The Christmas Carol "Silent Night" originated in Austria.
Rome and Tuscany Italy: Information was featured on how this area makes the history of Christmas relatable in a modern way in Italy.
Switzerland: Scenes were shown of the beautiful Alps area, and of Rick and his family joyfully mingling with some of the local families living in Switzerland.

I also found the Christmas music and vocals used throughout the showing to be very beautiful. Many of the countries that were visited showed groups of people singing Christmas carols together (which I thought is a nice addition to the theme of this dvd). All of the countries that were featured in this dvd for European Christmas traditions were wonderful to watch. However, the two countries that really captured my attention the most for visiting Europe during the Christmas season are Germany and Austria. I love music, and the fact that it plays a major part of Germany's Christmas traditions was something that I found interesting (the well known Germany composers:Bach,Beethoven, and Mozart were briefly mentioned). The feature of Austria also stood out for me because my husband's grandmother is from Vienna, and I also found it fascinating that the well known song that is "Silent Night" originated here. This dvd is certainly worth obtaining if you intend to visit any part of Western Europe during the Christmas season and/or you are interested in knowing about European Christmas traditions.

This review is from: Femme Fatale Deluxe (Audio CD)
"Femme Fatale" Deluxe is a fantastic album by Britney Spears that contains tracks that have a high energy dance beat. I also do agree that the bonus tracks are fantastic. I thought that both her "Blackout" and "Circus" albums were good. However, in my humble opinion, Britney has gotten even better with this album. This "Femme Fatale" Deluxe edition contains songs that are of the dance/pop genre (many of these musical tracks can be played at a party, and I'm certain are going to be played at many clubs). My personal favorite musical tracks on this album are "Hold it Against Me", "Gasoline", "I Wanna Go", and "Trip to Your Heart". "Hold it Against Me" is a song about aggressively going after someone that interests you, and bluntly telling them how you feel. "I Wanna Go" is a very daring and racy dance song about wanting to follow through on some "desires" running through the mind. "Gasoline" is my overall favorite of this collection and is a fun song about a person that ignites a strong sensual attraction that they create a feeling of passionate excitement (hence the lyrics you set me on fire). In a positive way, "Gasoline" is the 2011 version of Madonna's musical gem that is titled "Burning Up". "Trip to Your Heart" is an uplifting song that shows the more romantic and sensual side of Britney. "Trip to Your Heart" appears to be about pursuing someone that you care about. The best way to tell if you are going to enjoy this selection is if you have listened to, and enjoyed any of the following songs: "Radar", "Circus", "Rock Me In", "Break the Ice", and/or "And Then We Kiss". I would also recommend this collection for those who enjoy dance and/or pop music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Britney Spears: The Fun Music CollectionMarch 28, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Britney Spears: The Singles Collection is very nicely assembled collection of some of Britney's hits from the 90's and the millenium. For those who like some of Britney's songs from when she first made her debut on the music scene, the listener is treated to musical gems from her 90's heyday in the form of classics such as the memorable "You Drive Me Crazy' and "Born to Make You Happy". "Circus", "Radar", and "3" are fun dance/pop musical numbers that reflect a more mature and self-confident Britney. The one thing that I obviously like the most from this collection is that the songs were assembled from various stages in her life. For example, "Baby One More Time" is one of the first songs that she is famous (from back in the 90's), "Boys" was during the 2002 period, "Everytime" was from her 2004 period, "Piece of Me" was during the 2007 period, "Circus", "Womanizer" and "If U Seek Amy" are great songs from when she made a very good comeback in 2008 (in addition to serving as a positive example that you can always pick yourself up). For the 2009 period, the musical treat that is "3" is featured. Overall, this collection is a nice addition to obtain if you like the music of Britney Spears and/or enjoy dance/pop music. This singles compilation reminds me that I very much look forward to her new collection coming out this week.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Britney Spears RemixesMarch 28, 2011
This Britney Spears "B in the Mix, the Remixes" collection is a high-energy and fun dance collection. All of the songs that are remixed come out sounding very good to listen to. A couple of the musical tracks on this cd that stand out in a great way to me are: "And Then We Kiss" and "Early Mornin". "And Then We Kiss" is a very sensual song that is about more than just the actual kissing, and involving the whole experience of being touched and held. "Early Mornin" is a fun song about the "adventures" that someone goes on while going out, and taking chances in pursuing the person of their interest. The character of "Early Mornin" can be best characterized as self-confident and insatiable because she goes after what she wants when out dancing, and stays out all night until the morning (hence the "Early Mornin" moniker), and then does it again when it suits her. Obviously, with this quality remix collection you get the romantic side of Britney with "And Then We Kiss" and "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know". Then you get the uninhibited side of her with "Early Mornin", "I'm a Slave 4 U" and "Breathe On Me". This compilation is best enjoyed if you like dance/pop and/or songs by Britney.

This review is from: Glam Nation Live (Audio CD)
I finished watching the dvd portion of this less than a half hour ago. Both the dvd and the cd portion are very fun and pleasing to listen to. I already own Adam's For Your Entertainment Deluxe Collection, and I bought this because I was curious to hear him live (in addition to watching his concert performance). The Glam Nation Cd is very good because it contains many of his great songs that many are going to love such as "Fever", "Music Again", "If I Had You", and "Sure Fire Winners" (all of the songs on this cd are fantastic, I was listing my personal favorites). Adam sounds great live, and it was a great experience watching his concert performance on Dvd. I say this because he really put forth his creative spirit in delivering to the audience, and I like some of the encouraging speeches that he gave before some of his songs (my favorite was his perspective on love). For the concert performance portion (the dvd) it is challenging to pinpoint the performances that I liked the most because watching his performances on all of the songs helped me to relax, and boost my happiness level. However, the concert songs (on the dvd portion) that really left an exciting memory imprint in my mind are "Sleepwalker", "Sure Fire Winners", and "Strut". I loved Adam's performance in "Sleepwalker" because it showed a sexy and passionate side of him, "Sure Fire Winners" showed a positive energy message of the sky is the limit, and "Strut" had a unique performance of some very gifted dancers wearing colorful skull masks. I also enjoyed Adam's "Strut" performance because it showed a wild and free side to him. Overall, this Glam Nation Live Cd/Dvd combo is very much worth purchasing regardless of whether you own his "For Your Entertainment" deluxe cd. I say this because my personal humble opinion is that this "Glam Nation Live" cd/dvd deluxe combo is great to purchase whether it would complement an existing For Your Entertainment collection and/or as a great introductory collection for those new to owning Adam Lambert's music.

This compilation by the Steve Miller Band is very good to listen to. This cd has a very eclectic mix of fun songs to listen with the 22 songs that were chosen for this cd. My personal favorite songs on this greatest hits set are "Abracadabra", "Fly Like An Eagle', and "Jet Airliner". I enjoy the lyrics and the hard rock song of the guitars that are used in those songs. "I Want to Make the World Turn Around" and "Dance, Dance,Dance" are very great to listen to as well. What I enjoy the most about this greatest hits compilation by the Steve Miller Band is the positive message of making the best of your life regardless of what transpires. For example, to me "Fly Like an Eagle" symbolizes the unlimited possibilities of solutions available to make the world a better place (as exemplifed with the lyrics feed the babies, shoe the children, and house the people). "Fly Like An Eagle" also is a good concept for a musical reminder to always be aware of, and be open to following your dreams with lyrics used in the song such as: "Fly Like An Eagle, Let My Spirit Carry Me". I would say to definitely get this cd if you are open to listening to 70's rock music because the songs have a classic rock type of feel.

"You Just Became a Millionaire" is a very fun game to play in getting to know yourself and those who play with you even more to see how they would act when decisions involving twenty million dollars are involved (friends, family, loved ones, etc). "You Just Became a Millionaire" can be played in the range of 3 to 6 players. I played this game with my husband, and we both enjoyed the game. I was already aware how well he knew me before I played this game, and I was pleasantly suprised to see that I accurately guessed many of the answers that he had to the fun questions. Please know that I am a very aware person who knows my husband extremely well, but I was pleasantly happy to discover in a good way his positive shock at the number of questions I answered correctly in how he would proceed in various scenarios (this is especially because he has a gift in reading people and situations very well). The game has colorful play money (1, 2, and 3 million dollar bills), cards of the letters that each person guesses their answers, and cards involving the question scenarios. The following are a few of the interesting and multiple scenarios that are asked:

1)Since people now assume my jewels are real, I will save my money, and buy only imitations
a. Agree
b. Disagree

2) The statement that now most closely reflects my attitude towards money is ....
a. "A penny saved is a penny earned."
b. "A penny saved is a penny squandered."

3. A home is one's castle, especially if you can afford it. The first change that I will make around my home is to ...
a. Hire a live-in maid or butler-or both
b. Build closets, closets, closets
c. Put up a "For Sale" sign
d. Build a full-size gym and hire a personal trainer

Overall, "You Just Became a Millionaire" is great to purchase if you enjoy pursuing your dreams, and you love pursuits that are fun and help expand your mind on what is possible in the game of life.

"This is War" (Deluxe Edition) is an extremely fun and exciting cd to listen to. I just received this cd yesterday, and I first got a chance to listen to it last night (I enjoy this cd so much that I listened to it again this morning). I am extremely glad that I took a chance on getting this deluxe edition of "This is War" by Thirty Seconds to Mars. I say this especially because I took a chance with buying a ticket to their upcoming concert in April near where I live before actually receiving this cd (I bought a ticket on March 7th, and received "This is War" deluxe edition on March 8th). What this has to do with the greatness of this band (and obviously their music) is that I went to purchase tickets online, and noticed that many of the seats to this concert sold out so fast that only the ground seats are left (even after I slyly attempted to see if different seats available). I went ahead and purchased a ticket to the ground floor seating area of their concert because of the strong sense that their music is going to be good (once again, I took a leap of faith before having this cd in my hands). After listening to this cd, I feel lucky (and happy) that I went with the idea to purchase a ticket to their upcoming concert even before listening to "This is War". The following is a summary of the song and dvd summary to help you see why I enjoy listening to these tracks and my obvious excitement about attending their concert (on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest rating). Please understand that the summary is my own personal interpretation and humble opinions on each of the musical gems of "This is War" (Deluxe Edition) by Thirty Seconds to Mars. I am very understanding and open-minded to the fact that there are going to be different views and opinons on these songs in variation with the person hearing all of these songs.

1. Escape (10 out of 10)- "Escape" is about letting your spirit roam free, living your life with as much freedom as you can allow, and turning over a new leaf in life.
2. Night of the Hunter (10 out of 10)- "Night of the Hunter" is a masterpiece musical creation about calmly embracing both light and darkness in one's life, and bringing together both for a powerful spiritual transformation. This song really resonated with me because it serves as a beautiful and healing reminder to transform all unexpected events and challenges into positive opportunities for increased wisdom and personal power. "Night of the Hunter" is a beautiful fusion of melodic drums, high-energy guitars, and a fantastic hybrid of rock and electronic music. "Night of the Hunter" is my third favorite song after the tracks of "Stranger in a Strange Land" and "Closer to the Edge".
3. Kings and Queens (10 out of 10)- "Kings and Queens" sends the message to always expect the best for your life and future.
4. This is War (9 out of 10)- "This is War" is a powerful musical track about always remaining emotionally strong, and standing up for your rights and what you personally believe in.
5. 100 Suns (8 out of 10)- "100 Suns" is about having self-confidence in yourself, and seeing your own personal greatness.
6. Hurricane: (9 out of 10)- "Hurricane" is about having the passion for life, and helping others to the best of your ability.
7. Closer to the Edge (10 out of 10)- "Closer to the Edge" is a very high-energy song, and is one of the musical tracks that helped convince me to get the cd. I admit that I saw the video to this on tv, and I was convinced to hear more from this band when I picked up on the positive message of this video (follow your dreams and goals), and I noticed the passion and intensity coming from within the lead singer (Jared Leto) to deliver a meaningful and soul nourishing song.
8. Vox Populi (10 out of 10)- "Vox Populi" uses the term soldiers as a creative metaphor/concept to stand up for what you believe in, and follow your personal insights one may receive when they are called to action. In addition, "Vox Populi" contains good electronic music blended wonderfully with the lyrics and vocals of this song.
9. Search and Destroy (9 out of 10)- A catchy, uptempo, and energetic song about embracing change in your life, and to take whatever steps are needed to construct your life that is in alignment with your own personal happiness.
10. Alibi (10 out of 10)- "Alibi" is about pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps, and picking yourself back up regardless of how many times you may have to do so. "Alibi" is also a great quiet type of song that has a gorgeous blend of drums, piano, and guitar. In addition, this musical track is about embracing life with the energy of creative fire in your being.
11. Stranger in a Strange Land (10 out of 10)- "Stranger in a Strange Land" is a great musical track about the very daring acts that someone would carry through when influenced by the emotions of whatever they are feeling about the person in question. I admit that "Stranger in a Strange Land" is one of my favorite songs in this compilation.
12. L490 (7 out of 10)- I gave this a rating of at least 7 because the chanting in "L490" was harmoniously synchronized, but was minimal on music and words.
13. Bonus Track of "Hurricane" featuring Kanye West (9 out of 10)- This version also sends a beautiful message about loving life, helping out your fellow man, and making the best of your life. I feel that this musical collaboration between Jared Leto and Kanye West was very creative, and great to listen to.
14. Bonus Track of "Stronger" (a BBC live version that I rate 10 out of 10)- I really enjoyed Jared Leto's take on "Stronger". He really makes it his own by making it natural and believable when he sings about seducing the person he desires.
15. Bonus Track of "Bad Romance" (another BBC live version that I enthusiastically rate 10 out of 10)- Jared takes this musical masterpiece and skillfully makes it how own as well. He does a really excellent job of sounding extremely persuasive when he sings about wanting the person he desires, and doing it very admirably (again he sounds very seductive in this song, and the seduction side of him really shines in his version of "Bad Romance")

The dvd version has really good musical videos to "Closer to the Edge", "Kings and Queens", and the making of the "Kings and Queens" video (very exciting and interesting to watch). I say this because Jared demonstrates an abundance of passion and creativity in having everything turn out harmoniously, and it clearly shows when you watch in him action during the making of the video. The fact that he also showed an appreciation for the many fans that showed up to be a part of this was also very touching.

I strongly endorse purchasing "This is War" (deluxe edition) if you enjoy rock, pop, and/or electronic music. This deluxe version of "This is War" is well worth purchasing, and I very much look forward to going to their concert in April.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wealthy Dollar ListingMarch 9, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
"Million Dollar Listing" is a fascinating and exciting show about three men(Madison, Josh, and Chad) who are among some of the most successful real estate professionals in the Los Angeles area. I have to admit that this show is fascinating to watch because all three of them have the golden midas touch in selling multi-million dollar properties to men and women who easily have the option of living anywhere they desire in the country. What I also enjoy is that all three of them successfully keep their calm, stay optimistic, and are resourceful regardless of any temporary obstacles that may arise (temporary because all three of them have a gift for turning obstacles into positive opportunities). The fact that the show lists the financial number of their commissions is invigorating because you get valuable insight on how the industry operates. In addition, the show extensively covers their professional and personal lives to give the viewer a more multi-dimensional view on what it takes to succeed in this industry. This show inspires one to expand their mind on what is possible in life because you are showed views inside many of the homes of Madison's, Josh's, and Chad's customers. Naturally, you also see in action the strong customer service skills, and talents that are essential for success in this field (and skills that a person can utilize regardless of whether they are in real estate). For example, I enjoy the privilege of being a full-time college student, and watching this show has really inspired me to expand my thinking of what is possible in my own life (in addition to seeing in action what talents and skills to always work on improving on regardless of who you are or where you live). I feel that all three of the men (Madison, Josh, and Chad) are enjoyable and interesting to watch (as well as being highly talented and thriving in their professions). In addition, I wish for all three of these men (Madison, Josh, and Chad) to be featured in future seasons of Million Dollar Listing because they all are a combined powerful and interesting part of the soul that makes the show fun to watch. However, I admit that Madison is my favorite of the three because he is a heart-centered type of person who is very down to earth and highly self-confident. Madison cleverly shows that you can still achieve your biggest dreams and have a pleasant personality as long as you believe in yourself and are ambitious in doing what it takes to achieve your objectives. Please understand that I do feel that Chad and Josh are also great at what they do, and have great personality traits of their own (Chad's strongest trait is the fact that he is courageous, and Josh's strongest trait is his assertiveness). I just felt compelled to share why Madison's high-energy spirit stood out for me the most, and why I believe that it would be a great idea to continue to show Madison as well as Josh and Chad in the future seasons. Overall, this is a great show to watch if you have a high level of interest in watching what self-confident and prosperous professionals do to simultaneously achieve their professional objectives as well as the requirements of their clients.

Sonia Choquette's "Ask Your Guides" book is very powerful and healing. This book has been very helpful to me. I say this because I use to think that you had to be perfect and the societal version of a saintly person to recieve spiritual blessings and help before discovering her book. When I discovered "Ask Your Guides" by Sonia Choquette an awareness came on within me that everyone is worthy of spiritual blessings and beneficial universal resources regardless of how they lived their life. I admit that I happen to be a heart-centered person who is a mixture of a free spirit blended with a compassionate personality. Reading Sonia Choquette's "Ask Your Guides" book is very healing because it contains information on how everyone can attract the assistance from powerful and benevolent universal helpers and resources if they ask, believe, and listen to any intuitive promptings. Sonia Choquette is also one of the authors that I respectfully give credit to that helped me open my eyes to being aware of help from my higher self. The following is some of the life-changing information contained in this book.

1) How to prepare to meet your spirit guides. (I really enjoy that she lists some answers to frequently asked questions such as the number of spirit guides someone has, in addition to who they are and where they come from.
2) Information on steps to take regarding how to write to your guides and other members of your divine support system.
3) How to know if you are dealing with negative entities, setting clear boundaries, and some powerful information on what to do in order to send them away, and be a clear channel for celestial and positive energies.
4) Sonia includes beneficial data on speaking to your guides through oracles.
5) All of the chapters in the book are very informative and soul nourishing. However, I confess that my favorite chapter of this book is titled: Your Higher Self:The Greatest Guide of All. Sonia includes enlightening details on connecting with your higher self, and she builds a persuasive case on why connecting with your higher self is one of the most important goals that a person can have.

"Ask Your Guides" by Sonia Choquette is a magnificent book that contains life changing and helpful information that is in the same spirit as "Spiritual Growth: Being Your Higher Self" by Sanaya Roman. I really enjoy and cherish the "Ask Your Guides" book by Sonia Qhoquette because I am always able to reference and apply the illuminating information contained within through the challenging times as well as the good times in my life. "Ask Your Guides" by Sonia Choquette is very helpful to have handy if you believe and/or you experience an abundance of miracles in your life, and you desire a handbook that assists in tapping into this positive energy.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Powerful MiddleMarch 3, 2011
This review is from: The Middle (MP3 Music)
"The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World is a positive song about having the self-confidence to see your own beauty and great qualities in yourself regardless of what others may think. This musical gem also serves as a reminder to do the best you can, and to be patient when allowing in all of the good in your life. I also appreciate that the message of the song is to also know that it is important to avoid giving power to what others may say or think (also the added insight to be and see your own brilliance regardless of if others would). Last, but not least, this energetic and fun musical track sends a great message about being emotionally strong (thick-skinned), and to project your personal power with your best effort while simultaneously being aware that everything in your life is going to be just fine. My favorite part of the song with the following lyrics communicates this meaning in a strong manner:

It just takes some time
Little Girl You're in the middle of the ride
Everything, everything will be just fine
Everything, everything will be alright, alright

"The Middle" is a brilliant track that applies to both men and women from all walks of life even with taking the "little girl" metaphor into account. I suggest this song (with absolute self-confidence) if you know that events in your life are going to unfold perfectly and in a joyful manner, but you also crave listening to a song that powerfully gives this reminder (in addition to sending the message to always see your personal beauty and unlimited power regardless of how others may treat you)

5.0 out of 5 stars "Positive Satellites"March 3, 2011
"Satellites" by September is a very soul nourishing song about the importance of avoiding the temptation of comparing yourself to others even if you happen to be surrounded by others who are already achieving some of the successes that you crave. Please understand that I do believe that it is always important to be happy for the good fortune of others regardless of what you are experiencing in your own life. However, "Satellites" is very powerful and healing for me to listen to because it serves as a gentle reminder that everyone is on their own path. In addition, this song sends a positive message to be joyful and appreciate what you have even if you may be currently "crawling" in comparison to others in your peer group. I know that being aware of this is obvious because things can always get better in a person's life, but it is a great thing to know that there are musical gems such as "Satellites" by September to communicate this message in a magical manner. This message is beautifully made clear with the following lyrics:

Even an angel can end up falling
Don't you cry because you're crawling
Start again, it's a beautiful morning for satellites

This fascinating musical track by September is a great to purchase if you are aware that your personal dreams can come true, but you desire to listen to magnificent songs that remind you to see the brilliance in your personal life path regardless of what others may think.

5.0 out of 5 stars Uplifting LullabyMarch 3, 2011
This review is from: Lullaby (MP3 Music)
This is a very beautiful, healing, and uplifting song. This song always increases my level of cheer when I hear it. This musical track is also part of a joyful playlist that I have because of its significance. I voluntarily left the navy when my contract ended and I was honorably discharged in May 2009. Fortunately, my transition to civilian life went smoothly, but I was experiencing a wide range of changes in all areas of my life as a result of the major move I had made (once again all for the better). Things got even more interesting when my husband and I moved from Norfolk, Virginia to Orlando, Florida during this time period. We both enjoyed living in Orlando, Florida, and eventually adjusted just fine. However, I admit that I was secretly craving some type of encouragement because my spouse and I were still getting to know people with being so new to the area. Luckily, (as strange as it may seem) I found the encouragement I was looking for when I heard this happy musical track in one of the dreams that I had. I woke from my sleep with a peaceful feeling and awareness that my spirit was blessing me with a positive message reminder that things are in fact going to be alright. Hearing "Lullaby" in my dream was very healing because of the message. What I find "Lullaby" by Shawn Mullins to mean is that it is very important to always expect the best to happen in your life especially in the midst of changes that occur. Shawn creatively and eloquently communicates this uplifting message through the well-crafted story of sharing the journey of a woman who is striving to make the best of her life in a new place. I do believe that the powerful message of "Lullaby" applies for both men and women to always see opportunity in even the most unexpected challenges. This is a wonderful song to have if you are aware that life events always happen for the better, but would benefit from a joyful reminder (such as through the fantastic track of "Lullaby" by Shawn Mullins).

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful Spiritual EvolutionMarch 2, 2011
Words could only begin to describe how insightful this book is. This book has helped remind me why it is important to have a connection with your higher self. The following is some of the helpful information contained in this book regarding the higher self (I am directly listing the written information that I found very healing in this book):

1) The "Connecting with the Universal Mind" (chapter 3 pgs. 28-36) contains information that explains why the Universal Mind creates what you think about. I really appreciate some of the helpful and transformational information included in this chapter such as:
1)You can have everything you want that serves your higher good.
2)The more expansive your thoughts, the more expansive the reality your create.
3)Your imagination transcends this dimension and connects with the Universal Mind where anything is possible.
4) It was extremely healing to me when I saw the following on page 34: Don't accept your current circumstances as the best you'll ever have. Don't believe people when they tell you something is impossible to create. When you know how to create with energy and light anything is possible.
5)Believe in your success, Picture yourself having what you want.

I am very lucky in my life, and I have an abundance of blessings to be appreciative of. However, I must admit that I also really enjoyed the "Allowing Your Higher Good" section of this book (chapter 10, pages 98-104). I know that this may sound unconventional, but it was as if my higher self guided me to really be aware of what is written in this chapter. The following are some very powerful statements that resonated with my spirit:
1)No matter what happens, tell yourself the universe is perfect, and everything that happens is perfect. If something you were hoping for doesn't happen, know that something even better will.
2)Allow people to be any way they want to be.
3)You can allow things into your life more easily when you let any form work.
4)Learn to recieve all the good things your higher self has to give you.
5)The following written statement in this chapter really opened my eyes very much (it is on page 99)People who have abundance, loving relationships, and happiness are not more deserving or better than you. They simply allow more good things into their life.

A very strong and persuasive case is made in this powerful book as to why it is important to work on connecting with and being your higher self on page 72 of the "Moving into Higher Consciousness" chapter: Your clairvoyant abilities will increase as you become your higher self.

There is so much more helpful and transformational details contained in "Spiritual Growth: Being Your Higher Self". I have only presented an exciting preview sampler. I felt guided to share how I feel about this book because recent events in my life encouraged me to be aware of being in touch with my higher self. In addition, being aware of your higher self is essential if you have ever had to be self-reliant. A great companion guide to this wonderful book would be "Ask Your Guides" by Sonia Choquette. Like Sanaya Roman, Sonia Choquette has also helped me to be aware of my higher self (she even has a chapter on your higher self in her "Ask Your Guides" book). Overall, in summary I am appreciative to Sanaya Roman for publishing this very beautiful and unique book. I intend to reference this book for many years to come because of the very magical and mind expanding writing of this book. I definitely recommend this book if you know that there is more to life beyond what you see physically with your eyes, and are aware of your spirit's presence.

"Cosmic Energy" is definitely a great book that lives up to its title. I say this because Anne Jirsch has written an inspiring book on increasing the positive energy in one's life. My favorite part of the book is where she discusses space clearing suggestions, and why becoming organized is helpful in harnessing the cosmic energy. Anne's insights on how to be a magnet to increased love energy is very interesting. I appreciate that she shares such helpful information such as how to increase your love vibration, attract positive people into your life, and how to discover your life's purpose and make your dreams come true. Anne is also passionate about sharing some inspiring success stories in her book. Also, she shares somes creative and insightful advice on manifesting wealth and abundance. This is a great book to have if you have an interest in cosmic energy, increasing positive energy, and increasing your overall vibration. The title of the book (Cosmic Energy: How to Harness the Invisible Power Around You to Transform Your Life) is a healing and helpful guide for inner and outer changes in a person's life.

This review is from: Lords of Mystery-Etern (Audio CD)
"Lords of Mystery"-Eternal Voices is a very unique German import compilation of very calming and mystical music. However, this cd is worth owning because of the various gems contained within this collection, and for the number of songs that you get. There are 52 songs on three cds (2 cds have 17 songs on them, and one cd has 18 songs). The following are five of some very catchy songs that resonated with my spirit that I would recommend to others as well:

1) Calling Grace by Tarjen
2) Wicked Game by Gregorian (a good quality remake of Chris Isaak's fantastic version of "Wicked Game")
3) Luci d'alba by Kylee Kate Sargant
4) I Believe by Magic Voices
5) Harry's Game by Phil Coulter

The best way to tell if you are going to enjoy this "Lords of Mystery"-Eternal Voices Compilation is if you like any of the following: mystical/new age music, Enya, Enigma, Sarah Brightman, and/or Celtic music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Strong Eurodance HitsFebruary 28, 2011
This review is from: Hit Giganten-Eurodance (Audio CD)
Die Hit Giganten-Eurodance is a fun German Import collection of 41 songs on two cds. I enjoy listening to the Eurodance music genre very much, and it was great to listen to all of the 41 songs and actually enjoy them. The following is my personal top four songs out of this collection that I really enjoyed, and that I gently recommend that someone listen to first to help them decide if this compilation is worth getting for them:

1) "Another Night" by Real McCoy
2) "Feel the Heat of the Night" by Masterboy
3) ...Shut Up and Sleep with Me by Sin With Sebastian
4) "Right In the Night" by Jam & Spoon

I personally was interested in getting this collection after seeing it on the Amazon Germany website, and it was easy for me to decide because Eurodance music is one of my favorite music genres. This compilation is definitely worth obtaining if you enjoy listening to Eurodance and/or dance/pop. As an added bonus, this collection also helps to increase happiness and/or serve as a maintainer of happiness for someone already in an elevated mood.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Good Quality Washington D.C. GuideFebruary 28, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I concur with the other reviewers that this book is definitely worth it to purchase if you plan on visiting the D.C. area. I purchased the "Washington D.C" (Eyewitness Travel Guide) because I had a strong feeling that this book would help pinpoint some of the best places to visit in the D.C. area. I have been happily living in this area since May 2010, and I was inspired to make the best out of living here when I met a loving and happy couple at a concert that I recently attended. They were helpfully giving me some ideas worth pondering for going out. The close and cheerful couple that was encouraging me helped me realize that I can easily make the most out of living here, and with my schedule I can at least visit many of the sites on weekends (I am a resourceful college student). This book contains alot of helpful information on transportation, many fun museums and other events to go to, and other accomodations that are good to know whether you are just visiting and/or you already live in the area, but you prefer to be self-reliant in discovering the exciting places to go to. The following is some of the amazing information that is contained in this book:
The various museums available to visit in downtown D.C. such as the National Air and Space Museum, National Museum of Natural History, National Museum of American History, and the National Gallery of Art.
Entertainment in Washington D.C. area such as: the Wolf Trap Farm Park for the Performing Arts (in Vienna, Virginia), the Shakespeare Theatre, National Symphony Orchestra, and the Library of Congress.
There is information on sports and outdoor activities that are listed: The couple that I mentioned about told me about how the Verizon center has sporting events (such as the basketball games) in addition to musical concerts. The Washington D.C book on pages 204 and 205 (Eyewitness Travel Guide) also lists the RFK Stadium and the Nationals Park Stadium.
For men and women just visiting there are handy guides on recommended places to stay starting on page 172-195, shopping in Washington D.C. (pages 196-199), restaurants, cafes, and bars (pages 182-195), and there is a handy metro system map and street finder index for those who plan to take public transit in the D.C. area.

I admit that I have only listed a sampling of what is in this useful and informative book. If there is only one guide that you have the time to look at for the Washington D.C. area, then this is definitely the one to consider.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring Stories from the Self-Made WealthyFebruary 23, 2011
I really love the concept of "How'd You Get So Rich" (hosted by Joan Rivers) because it features very inspiring stories of people who amassed their wealth through self-made means. Please understand that I admit that I love watching reality shows of men and women who live a life of wealth. I started craving watching more shows like this when I was still on active duty in the navy (I enjoyed serving in the navy, but I feel lucky to be happily living as a civilian). I would frequently watch the "Fabulous Life" series that VH1 would show (one of my favorite episodes from the Fabulous Life franchise are the Billionaire Rags to Riches: Episode 199 from 08/30/2007). Joan Rivers creatively expands on the self-made concept by having the courage to approach people who came from modest backgrounds and became very wealthy. I have enthusiastically watched this episode, and some of the others offered in this series. I feel lucky to have came across "So How Did You Get So Rich" because it has inspired me, and continues to give me ideas on what I can do to fulfill my dreams. I first found out about this series in the summer of 2010, and I intend to make time to watch more of the episodes from the "How'd You Get So Rich" series. The following is some of the captivating information that this first episode contains:

1)Robert Zarco- A wealthy man who lives in Miami, Beach Florida and has a great place that has 13 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms.
2)Eric Kim- His story is also very inspiring because he was a former mall worker who paid attention to many of the wealthy customers that he was getting, and decided to do something about it. He created Monarchy Jeans, and what inspired me is that he set this into motion at age 32. Seeing his story really moved and inspired me because I got to see for myself that you can create a life of wealth regardless of your age. After watching Eric's story, an insight came on within me that proper planning and acting on your ideas at the right time are very crucial.
3)Jonah White- He is worth 50 million plus (in Joan River's words), and is the mastermind behind Billy Bob Teeth. In addition, Jonah owns an 8,000 square foot mansion in Michael, Illinois on 500 acres (approximately the size of 450 football fields as Joan says in the documentary). I was also very inspired by watching this because I grew up in Illinois (I moved away when I shipped off to navy bootcamp), and it was cool to watch someone who came from very humble means to become one of the wealthiest self-made multi-millionaires in the Midwest. Jonah and his wife live on one of the largest single family properties in Illinois.

Overall, I would definitely recommend purchasing this episode if you love to be inspired in your wealth goals and/or you enjoy watching shows that feature men and women who are self-made multi-millionaires.

5.0 out of 5 stars NFL Edition of CMT CribsFebruary 23, 2011

This review is from: CMT Cribs Season 3 (Amazon Video)
This episode of CMT Cribs was very enjoyable to watch. In addition, the fact that this episode featured a few of some of the most popular football players around gave the showing an even more exciting dimension. The following is a sampling of what is in this great episode:

1) The home of AJ Hawk, who plays for the Green Bay Packers. He lives in a great 6800 square foot place that has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. He has a great home office, and it was cool to see him proudly showing his certificate of his college graduation from Ohio State University. I thought that it was also cool when he introduced his wife Laura about the same time that he was showing his modern theater room (Top Gun appears to be one of his favorite movies).
2) Jaren Allen, who plays for the Minnesota Vikings, and has a 4400 square foot, 4 bedrooms, and 4.5 baths place in Scottsdale, Arizona. I enjoyed seeing AJ's gameroom and pool.
3) Cortland, Finnegan, who plays for the Tennessee Titans, and lives in a grand 6700 square foot, 5 bedroom, and 3 bathroom place in Nashville, Tennessee.

I would say to definitely purchase this episode if you enjoy watching any of the Mtv Crib's episodes and/or you enjoy finding out how the homes of some of the wealthy and famous look.

This was a wonderful Forbes Magazine sponsored episode about some of the luxurious properties of some of the world's wealthiest people. The following are some of the properties that are featured in this episode:

1) Summerwind Yacht owned by Jeff Greene
2) Windsor Luxury Residences owned by Galen and Hilary Weston
3) Rubicon Estate Winery owned by Francis Ford Coppola (the property allows tours and wine teastings).
4) Luxury Car Collection owned by Sam Nazarian
5) Private Jet by Phil Ruffin

There is more featured in this episode that showcase some very captivating properties. I would say that this episode is worth purchasing for those who love to look at the Forbes magazine issues of the 400 wealthiest people and/or those who enjoy seeing some of the best properties around.

This review is from: Travel + Leisure (Magazine)
Travel+Leisure Magazine is a fantastic magazine to subscribe to if you love to travel, and are open to various ideas of the possibilities of how to travel for relaxation. This magazine covers places from around the world of some of the best travel websites and hotels to stay at when you are traveling to many places in Europe, Asia, etc. However, the one feature that I do LOVE about this magazine is how they feature a special issue just on Europe each year. I treasure these "special issues" that cover Europe because places all across Europe are featured. For example, I feel very lucky to own the special issues that cover just Europe from the issues of May 2008, April 2009, and April 2010. The following are some of the features from these special issues that cover Europe:
1)In the May 2008 Travel+Leisure special issue of Europe there is a feature about the many travel gems to see in Vienna, Austria and 10 London, England restaurants that are recommended by British Food critic Paul Levy. There is also a fascinating article on ideas to consider for outdoor walking in France.
2) In the April 2009 Travel+Leisure Europe special issue there is a great feature on 22 Affordable European Hotels (my favorite visual feature is The Hotel Franziskaner in Zurich, Switzerland). There is a catchy article feature on the many places to visit in Lourdes, France.
3)In the April 2010 Europe feature there is a feature on Book Lover's London and a captivating article about Europe's best wine bars. I also like the 25 undiscovered European villages that are featured (the picture of the Staufen im Breisgau, a medieval town close to the Rhine Valley in southern Germany).
I very much look forward to the 2011 Europe Special issue that Travel+Leisure is going to create.

The following are some of the exciting features of the February 2011 issue of Travel+Leisure:
1) There is the feature of 25 of some of the most romantic dream trips (the country retreat of Coworth Park in Berkshire, England stands out in a good way for me).
2)There is a colorful article titled "The Spirit of Dublin" and some of the wonderful places to check out while in Dublin, Ireland (the cafe owner pictured on page 94 seems pretty joyful and content in her life).
3)On page 40 the fashion designer, hotelier, and Apprentice Star Ivanka Trump is featured. I do feel that it was a good idea to feature her because in my humble opinion she resourcefully utilizes the wealth and opportunities that are presented to her.

Overall, Travel+Leisure is a great magazine to get for travel enthusiasts who love to dream and enjoy imagining the boundless opportunities that traveling brings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Touches the SpiritFebruary 23, 2011
I was drawn to this magazine because my soul hungers for spiritual knowledge. I feel that there is always more to learn regardless of the level of wisdom inside that is inside a person. Fortunately, this publication helps in the expansion of learning spirit nourishing information. For example, in the February 2011 issue there is information on three ways to tap into the divine. There is a very exciting article on three simple ways to realize your dreams. One of the three steps that is mentioned that stood out the most for was the one for listening to your intuition. I say this because I personally became more aware of the importance of listening to my intuition in my own life less than three months ago. The fact that I saw this step in the article on "three simple ways to realize your dreams" was an important source of confirmation for me that I am taking the right steps for increasing joy in all areas of my life. I'm excited about the March issue that I am going to recieve because in their feature of "Coming Next Month" they list that one of the articles that are going to be featured is regarding surefire ways to enhance your sixth sense. The January 2011 issue of Spirit and Destiny is also interesting, and contains some good information such as: 1) A very informative article on spiritual self-defense and how to stay safe on the spiritual path that was very enlightening and eye-opening for me. 2)helpful tips on healing yourself in a weekend. 3)the travel feature really stood out for me the most because there were some alluring places that were mentioned for visiting such as the Inishmore near Ireland's mainland and the spiritual community of Findhorn in Scotland (I have heard of the Findhorn community previously, but I am definitely convinced to visit the Findhorn community after seeing the feature). Spirit&Destiny is known as the United Kingdom's top spiritual lifestyle magazine, which explains why I found many of the articles very helpful and nourishing on an emotional and spiritual level. However, many U.S. customers are most likely going to have to order "Spirit&Destiny online due to the fact that this magazine is based out of the United Kingdom. Obviously, I ordered this magazine from amazon.com, and I am happy that I did because the subscription arrived to me in the timeline that was estimated. I would definitely recommend "Spirit&Destiny" magazine if you are a truth seeker who is open-minded in exploring the various components of spiritual knowledge.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sowing the Seeds of JoyFebruary 18, 2011
"Sowing the Seeds of Love" is a musical gem about the bright side to love, and the many themes that it can express. The meaning also seems to be about how being in love can make you a better person, and how this feeling can inspire you to healthfully question some of your own personal viewpoints. You can also listen to this song for either putting yourself in an uplifted state of mind and/or maintaining that state. "Sowing the Seeds of Love" is my favorite Tears for Fears song because it creatively combines both the themes of love and joy to create a positive happiness booster type of musical track. "Sowing the Seeds of Love'' is also one of the rare songs that a person can get a positive meaning out of each listen. For me personally, I definitely pick up on a positive insight each time I hear this cheerful melody, in addition to enjoying it more and more each time I listen to it. The video to this song is very well crafted as well. I watched the musical video to "Sowing the Seeds of Love" on youtube just this morning, and I notice that a person made a comment relating to how beautiful this song is. I have to definitely agree that this song is beautiful. The video is also fun to watch because it is very colorful and has many catchy images (I liked the flower that is used towards the end). The creativity used in this song and video compares (in a good way) to Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" song and video. Please understand that I feel that "Tears for Fears" have a great style all of their own with the "Sowing the Seeds of Love" song and video. I am only expressing the parallel of the great creativity used in "Tears For Fears" work that is highly original to that of Peter Gabriel's magnificent "Sledgehammer" song and video. In summary, I would say to definitely get this song if you like uplifting songs with a creative slant towards the themes of love and happiness.

This greatest hits import collection from Rod Stewart does live up to the title of containing great hits. I grew up listening to many of Rod Stewart's songs on the radio, and I was equally pleased to see many of those hits in this compilation. The following are some of my favorite musical tracks in this compilation that I enjoyed listening to on the radio, and were also found in this compilation:

Have I Told You Lately-this is a very gorgeous and beautiful song about how his lover brings him so much sunshine in his life and the unlimited love that pours out of him as a result.
Sailing:This seems to be a song about having a free spirit.
Love Touch: This is a catchy tune about someone that wants to show their lover the strong desire that they have for them, but they must have the opportunity to do so.
Do Ya Think I'm Sexy: This is a lively musical track about someone who wants to know if they are wanted via a sign. "Do You Think I'm Sexy" is my favorite song in this compilation.

The abovementioend songs are only a sampler of the good tracks that are available on this collection of Rod Stewar's greatest hits. This cd of Rod Stewart's greatest hits is definitely recommended if you enjoy 80's and/or 90's pop, soft rock, and classic rock music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Steamy YellFebruary 16, 2011
"Rebel Yell" is a very enjoyable and daring passionate lust song. As per the songfacts website, "Rebel Yell" is basically about a one night stand that is very pleasurable that the lover ends up expressing that they want more. This is also made clear with the following lyrics:
In the midnight hour she cried- "more, more, more"
With a rebel yell she cried- "more, more, more"
In the midniight hour babe- "more, more, more"
With a rebel yell- "more, more, more"

Obviously, there is more to this gem of a song. Billy Idol really puts alot of his spirit into the song in such an excellent fashion that it is almost like he is telling a very entertaining story that he is simultaneously singing. I admit that I first heard this song when I was a teenager, and I currently still love listening to this song. The guitar riffs and his fantastic singing blend well together with this song to make it a musical track that is fun to listen to multiple times in a row. "Rebel Yell" is also another song to put in a love/lust playlist and/or 80's classic song playlist

5.0 out of 5 stars Hungry with PassionFebruary 16, 2011
This review is from: Hungry Like The Wolf (MP3 Music)
This is a very passionate and high-energy song about a man who wants someone. However, he wants to make sure that his feelings are reciprocated, and he makes this clear with:
Woman you want me give me a sign
And catch my breathing even closer behind

The video to this song is pretty cool. He seems to be on some type of adventure/quest. The chemistry that he had with the model in the music scenes is very believable and well done. I also like the music that was used with this song because the melodies really went good with this song. "Hungry Like the Wolf" is a quality 80's classic song that you can put in your love list and/or 80's classic hit mix.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wealth of OpportunitiesFebruary 16, 2011
This is a very positive and uplifting song about how there are opportunities that abound if one is open to them. I believe that the main theme of the song is that there are an unlimited abundance of possibilities in creating wealth as long as is aware where to look. This is one of those songs to play for a cheerful boost and/or encouragement to persist and continue to go after your dreams. The video to this song is pretty fun to watch as well. In the video, the members of the Pet Shop Boys are boldy taking steps to achieve their aim of making lots of money. Overall, I would recommend this song as a good mood booster and/or encouragement. "Opportunities" is also good for achieving and/or maintaining a prosperous mindset.

5.0 out of 5 stars Block Party to Your EarsFebruary 14, 2011

This cd is very enjoyable to listen to. I too was very young when New Kids on the Block came to the scene (I was in grade school). My two favorite songs by them from my grade school years are "Step by Step" and "Right Stuff". I remember being in my senior year of high school when the enjoyable melody titled "Give it to You" by Jordan Knight was playing on TV (I too admit that Jordan Knight is my favorite member of the New Kids On the Block group) All of the songs on this cd made getting this cd a worthwhile purchase. However the four songs that personally stood out for me in an exciting and good way are:
Sexify My Love: This is a very catchy and sensual song about two people physically expressing their passion for each other. It is a good song to have in your love playlist all year round.
Lights, Camera, Action: This seems to be a very daring musical track about getting into action for a lustful and physical encounter.
One Song: This song appears to be about developing an attraction for someone at the club, and the attraction ends up being mutual.

My overall favorite song is the very sensual "Sexify My Love". I do admit that I have already played this song multiple times, and I intend to add it to one of my love playlists. I enjoyed their music so much on this cd that I feel that it would be great if many of the songs are played at their concerts, in addition to the music that propelled them to superstardom in the 80's. I have already bought myself a ticket to go to the New Kids on the Block concert this coming June(as an added bonus the Backstreet Boys are performing along with them). I am so excited to be going to the upcoming New Kids on the Block concert regardless if they play the 2008 music along with their 80's classics, but it would be wonderful if they do consider the fans who like both time periods of their music. This cd is worth getting if you enjoy pop and/or dancepop music.

Garth Brook's Ultimate Hits is a strong and high-quality collection. The bonus to owning this collection is that you get two cds and one dvd of Garth Brook's greatest hits. This cd does have many of his greatest hits. Here are some of the hits that are my personal favorites in this compilation:
"In Another's Eyes"
"We Shall Be Free"
"Shameless"
"The River"
"The Dance"

The one thing that I am suprised about is the fact that the song "You Move Me" was left off this compilation. The other songs included are great and make obtaining this greatest hits collection worth it. However, the reason why I feel like "You Move Me" would have been beneficial to include in this compilation is because it is a loving, beautiful, and uplifting song about how his lover touches him. The theme of "You Move Me" would have went wonderfully with the other love songs that are included on this Garth Brook's greatest hits collection. This collection is best to get if you enjoy country music and/or you are an occasional country music listener who enjoys collecting greatest hit compilations of talented musicians.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Musical Gem Helps You More Than Make ItFebruary 13, 2011
This is a great song to listen to when you want to either put yourself in and/or maintain a positive mindset. This musical track is about overcoming obstacles and succeeding even in spite of them. He sings about how he lives a very prosperous life now, and how the world is his. I really enjoy this song because it serves as powerful musical inspiration to always believe in yourself to succeed regardless of if others outside of you believe in you. "I Made It" also serves as a powerful and uplifting reminder to always give yourself the encouragement to go after what you want, and learn to find a way to achieve your goals regardless of the level of external support you may have. I picked up on this compelling message from the following lyrics:

Known from the city where no one believed in me
But I never gave up the fight.
Yeah, but now I'm on top.
I told you to let it rock (Rock!)
Now the money's fallin' from the sky-y-y-y-y
I made it.

I first heard this song back in June 2010,and I felt lucky to hear about it when I did because I had just moved to the D.C. area May 2010. There are many positive benefits and places that make the D.C. area a great place to live. However, my own creativity and emotional strength increased spontaneously when making the move because I knew no one in the area, and the earliest my husband was going to be able to join me was about a month later. I happen to have come across this song watching it on TV, and it resonated with me because listening to it provided me the encouragement and insight to remind myself that I can accomplish my goals independently by going within myself. I am appreciative to say that fortunately things turned out smoothly for me, and I still listen to this song for encouragement for both an emotional boost and maintaining an ambitious and positive state of mind. I previously heard of Kevin Rudolf through his musical hit "Let it Rock" when I was living in Norfolk Virginia. I would say to definitely get this song if you enjoy listening to "Let It Rock" or if you like pop, rock, and/or any type of encouragement/prosperous mindset song.

This is a fantastic magazine for those who like to dream and see some of the pleasures of what it is like to have an abundance of options on what to buy, where to go, where to live etc. Yes, at the time of this writing the magazine subscription can easily cost in the 65 dollar territory. However, I am here to tell you that obtaining this magazine is very much worth it if you even remotely care about increasing your wealth in all areas of your life. Many times the Robb Report magazine contains a complementary issue regarding vacation homes, holiday travel etc. I have the exciting January 2011 issue in front of me (named The Travel Issue) and the February 2011 issue (features ferrari classics). Here is some of the fascinating things that the January 2011 Robb Report Travel Issue has in it:
Grand Openings of Some of the Luxurious Real Estate Properties such as the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Puerto Rico,One and Only the Palm in Dubai,Soho Beach House Miami, Le Royal Monceau, Raffles Paris
An informative article titled Four of a Kind (by Samantha Brooks) that features a high-quality selection of some of the vacation homes that are found in some of the most sought after resort communities.
This is some of the captivating information found in the February 2011 Robb Report Issue:
Information on some of the best available Ferraris in the market today
Grand Opening article feature on the Prince of Paris

There is much more information available than what I have just listed. Overall, this magazine is very inspirational and beautifully done with the wonderful pictures that are featured each month that cover the vacation spots, cars, vacation homes etc. I was lucky to have found out about this magazine through reading a book called Wildy Wealthy by Sandy Forster (in the book she helpfully mentions that The Robb Report magazine helps get you in a more prosperous state of mind). I have to agree with Sandy's endorsement of the Robb Report magazine in her book because it definitely continues to inspire me on what is possible. For me, just looking at the magazine helps to increase my awareness on why it is important to go after your personal dreams regardless of external circumstances around you. I feel that this magazine is so important and inspirational that any extra Robb Report magazines that I happen to accumulate either go towards my personal collage collection or my local thrift store so that others are also able to picture what is possible. I have been a subscriber to this captivating magazine since June 2010, and I intend to continue to retain my subscription for many more years to come. As mentioned earlier, I certainly recommend this magazine if you want to be inspired to accomplish any personal dreams you may have and/or you at least remotely care about increasing wealth in all areas of your life.

This compilation is very well-done and put together. You really do get a feel of many of the Moody Blues Greatest Hits. Some of my favorite songs in the collection are:

The Voice: A great and uplifting song about the importance of learning to trust your feelings and inner voice (which helps explain the voice title). The song also sends a positive message that you can create your future however you want.
Your Wildest Dreams: A beautiful song about someone singing about what it felt like to them when they were with their first love, and they wonder if that person thinks about them from time to time.
Nights in White Satin: A beautiful song about being in love.
The Story In Your Eyes: An interesting musical track about living a life to good fortune and good luck.
Steppin in a Slide Zone: What makes this musical number interesting is the time travel references.

My overall favorite song after listening to this compilation is definitely still "The Voice". I have played "The Voice" frequently this week, and it always gives me joyful positive encouragement listening to it. "Your Wildest Dreams" comes in a close second. All the songs in this compilation are very good to listen to. This compilation is worthwhile to get if you like classic rock and/or soft rock.

5.0 out of 5 stars Joy Ever AfterFebruary 11, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a very beautiful and touching took to read when you know that your spirit hungers for knowledge, comfort, and an uplifting emotional boost. This book does all three because it tells a touching story of a woman named Joy who made contact with her husband(Bob) after he passed over. What initially started out as a quest for spiritual insight on a family tragedy had also turned into an unexpected journey towards accumulating increased knowledge. Here are some of the fascinating things that Joy discovered some answers to:

How to Recognize Your Life Path
How to Contact Your Loved Ones on the Other Side
How to Attract Money
Bob's 12 step program to realize your dreams
How the soul chooses it lessons

These topics are some of what is featured in this uplifting and knowledge increasing book. For me, I definitely have learned valuable information from this book that has helped me to release over 25 pounds since I first bought this book on halloween of last year. Bob mentions to Joy that it is important for people to find ways to be happy (regardless of what is going on externally in their life), and then the weight would start to come off. Since making this important discovery, I have been releasing weight quicker, I appreciate and see the good in even more things in my life. In addition, my ability to bounce back quicker from anything that happens unexpectedly has increased, with increased wisdom on how to turn even challenges into positives that help me transform in a more joyful manner. With all this said, I definitely would say to get this book because it is inspiring, practical, and helps inspire ideas on how to attract joyful change.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable Songs From Fall Out BoyFebruary 11, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This Fall Out Boy Collection is very much put together in a good fashion. You get many of the enjoyable Fall Out Boy songs.
This greatest hits compilation by Fall Out Boy is so good that I think it would be wonderful if they released more music in the future. All the songs in this collection are worth listening to for your music pleasure. However,in my humble opinion, here are my personal top favorite songs that I would recommend that one turn to first for maximum enjoyment:

Thnks fr th Mmrs- this song seems to be about someone that may have had some "soap opera" moments, but they are still memorable ones.
Dance, Dance- A song that appears to be about a person that is attracted to someone, but wants to make sure that the attraction is going to be reciprocated through some type of sign (he makes this clear with the catchy and daring lyrics crawling to bed with me). I love the video to this song, and I felt that lead singer Patrick Stump did a fantastic job in creatively projecting his spirit and emotions in the song. Patrick's vocals are so great that I can see why he was asked to lend his voice for the Gym Class Heroes single "Cupid's Chokehold"

I'm Like A Lawyer With The Way I'm Always Trying To Get You Off (Me & You): this appears to be one of the more romantic songs by "Fall Out Boy". This song appears to symbolize the message that regardless of what happens that anything can be conquered as long as they woke up to the one that means so much to them.

Beat It; This Michael Jackson classic was wonderfully done by Fall Out Boy. I love how Patrick hits really intense notes at certain points of the song such as when he talks about "truth or dare".

The four above mentioned songs are only a sampling of what is available in this collection. I confess that this review is a little partial towards this greatest hits compilation because of the fact that I enjoy hearing Patrick Stump's singing vocals (plus I feel that he is the heart of the band). However, what also makes this cd appealing to listen to is the wide range of lyrics used in the songs, and how the rest of the band members harmoniously create the melodies that contribute to making many of the songs enjoyable (such as in Dance, Dance). I have had this collection since January 2010, and it is still very much enjoyable to listen to. I was still living in Orlando, Florida at this time, and I lived just a couple of miles from the University of Central Florida. I remember eating at one of the places on the UCF campus, and hearing this greatest hits compilation being played (that is how popular this compilation was there). I confess that it is currently unknown to me how popular this compilation is where I live because I have only been living where I am at now since May 2010. However, what I can tell you for sure is that Fall Out Boy's greatest hits are good to listen to and obtain if you enjoy alternative rock from the 2000's.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Spice Girls CollectionFebruary 11, 2011
This review is from: Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
Many of the hits on this cd are very high-quality and good to listen to. I remember being in high school when many of the Spice Girl's songs were played on the radio. Many of these songs are good to listen to when you want to boost your mood and/or put yourself in a mindset to have fun and be carefree. Here are some of their hits that I would recommend listening to first:
"2 Become 1"
"Spice Up Your Life"-this was one of my top favorite songs by them when I listened to them during my high school years.
"Say You'll Be There"
"Wannabe"
"Holler"-I confess that I became more interested in this song recently. "Holler" is a very daring song about someone wanting to give someone so much pleasure that they scream their name (which explains the name of this song).

I feel that a good job was done in selecting some of their best hits. Listening to this cd also gives one a positive nostalgic feeling of some of the British music that was popular to listen to during the 90's and the early 2000's. My overall favorite song on this cd would definitely be "Holler".

I would recommend getting this Spice Girl's Greatest collection if you enjoy pop/dance/pop music.

5.0 out of 5 stars One Smooth SongFebruary 11, 2011
This review is from: Smooth (MP3 Music)
"Smooth" is a very fun and great pop/rock song done beautifully by Carlos Santana. I remember being in my senior year in high school when I heard this song. When I saw the video to this song being played on one of the music channels there was something about it that drew me on(I just wish that I can remember if it was VH1 or MTV). Carlos made the right decision when he selected Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty to sing the vocals (Rob has a great singing voice). The reason why I say this is because I noticed that in the music video Rob Thomas really put his spirit and emotion in giving the musical "Smooth" a vibrant life of its own. "Smooth" is a gorgeous song about a man who is willing to change his life to accomodate the woman he loves, and he is asking the woman in his life to make up her mind about him. He makes this clear with the clever and catchy lyrics "so give me your heart, make it real, or else forget about it). I love and enjoy listening to Rob Thomas's vocals in this song. In addition, I was imagining who this song was for, especially when Rob Thomas did a good job of using his voice of emphasizing the lyrics "my Spanish Harlem Mona Lisa" When I found out later on that it was for his wife Marisol Thomas I was very moved and thought that was romantic and heartwarming. I say this because "Smooth" came out in 1999. It is posted online that they met in 1998 and married in 1999. At the time of this writing, they are still married (which I think is so beautiful by the way, may they enjoy more joyful and loving years together). I admit that part of the reason why I still find this song enjoyable to listen to is because I enjoy hearing Rob Thomas's singing (Rob's music and vocals first drew me in with the 1997 Matchbox 20 musical hit "Push"). The best way to choose whether you are going to love this song is if you enjoy music by either Rob Thomas, Carlos Santana, and/or romantic alternative rock songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply IncredibleFebruary 10, 2011
This review is from: Simply Irresistible (MP3 Music)
"Simply Irresistible" is a great feel good type of musical track that is my overall favorite by Robert Palmer. In "Simply Irresistible" Robert sings a great tune on how a woman that use to just look good to him has gotten even more beautiful and appealing to him over the years. I love it when he sings the lyrics "she is anything but typical", and the lyrics "she's a craze you'd endorse, she's a powerful force". I personally have learned ways to increase my self-love, and listening to this song is one of the ways I love to do this. I say this because listening to this song helps serve as a fun reminder on why it is important to see the beauty inside of yourself regardless of what is reflected in the outside world. Hearing this song serves as a playful reminder to always work on feeling good from within. "Simply Irresistible" is a great song that is like fine wine that gets better with time (just like his other track "Addicted to Love"). You are going to love listening to this song if you enjoy Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love" musical track and/or classic rock and 80's music.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Talented Nine Inch Nails Take on a Steamy Love SongFebruary 10, 2011
This review is from: Get Down, Make Love (MP3 Music)
This song is definitely a title that speaks for itself. However, the lyrics and the music create a perfect musical harmony to make a sexy and steamy Industrial Rock love/very steamy song. The introduction with the male and female voices at the beginning of the song really provides the draw to follow through on listening to it. The introduction starts with a male voice asking a woman "How old were you when you first let a man make love to you?"(this is just part of the steamy intro to the song) This is a sexy and provocative musical track about a man telling a woman that he is going to make love to her as she so desires by making it clear with the following lyrics: "you take my body, I give you heat",. The best way to think of this song is in the same shocking sexiness that is the musical masterpiece called "Closer", but with slightly more toned down lyrics. The lyrics to "Get Down Make Love" by Nine Inch Nails are still wild in a good way, but more radio friendly than "Closer". For example, I grew up in Illinois and I first heard and enjoyed "Get Down Make Love" around the time I was 16 and one of the alternative rock radio stations in Chicago played this during the late night industrial rock time segment. I now have this enjoyable track to own. Yes, I admit that I play "Get Down Make Love" quite frequently because it is an excellent track with high-quality industrial music and unique lyrics (plus I love daring and sexy rock songs). The best way to quickly decide if you are going to like this song is if enjoy the song "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails and/or you are looking for a steamy rock song to add to your playlist.

5.0 out of 5 stars Romantic and Beautiful BalladFebruary 10, 2011
This review is from: The Lady In Red (MP3 Music)
I read online that Chris De Burgh actually created this song in dedication to his wife (that is so sweet). This beautiful song is about a woman wearing red, and ends up being a target of admiration at a party she is at. He ends up getting her alone, and it is easy to see this when he sings "there is nobody here, just you and me". He mentions that he is always going to remember the way she looked that night (with the lyrics I never will forget the way you look tonight). What makes the song romantic is that at he ends the song by saying "I Love You". This is definitely a romantic song to have in your playlist when you are in the mood for a love song to listen to that is romantic, but a little conservative.

5.0 out of 5 stars Makes You Want to Have FunFebruary 10, 2011
This review is from: Do You Want To (MP3 Music)
This is a very catchy come hither type song by Scottish rock group Franz Ferdinand. This is a very daring song about a guy asking a woman that he met out in public if she wants to sleep with him. He basically makes this clear with the lyrics "want to go where I never let you before". He makes references to the "arty" friends that she has, which a person listening to this song can take it as he is either propositioning her at some type of art gallery or party. The Way that lead singer Alex Kapranos sings the song is so convincing that he actually creates a believable image through the song of boldly going after the person he desires. "Do You Want To" is a very good musical track that can be played at either a party and/or makeout session. "Do You Want To" is a fun and carefree song that is in the same creative spirit as their 2004 musical hit "Take Me Out". "Do You Want To" is a worthwhile musical track to have if you enjoy the song "Take Me Out" and/or European rock music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Puts You in an Ecstatic and Joyful MoodFebruary 7, 2011
I LOVE this song "The Voice" by the British Group The Moody Blues. Many reading this may most likely remember The Moody Blues from their popular 80's musical hit "Your Wildest Dreams". I found this bit of info fascinating because I intend to visit England. I felt compelled to buy it less than 7 hours ago when it came to my mind. I went with this feeling because I remember first hearing it quite some time before my seventh birthday. Yes, I was very young, and it was not until a few hours ago that I understood the full meaning of the song. What I do remember is feeling a sense of peace and calm when I first heard this musical gem around the time I was 5 or 6. Obviously, much time went by before I would hear this song again. Occasionally, it would pop up in my head but for some reason I would delay in getting the song because the artist and lyrics were unknown to me up until today. I felt compelled to do something immediately by researching online because the song kept playing in my mind, and I felt a strong urge to go with the feeling. I am so glad that I did because I was fortunate to have finally discovered the name to the song, and the group. The meaning of the song is a positive message about following your inner voice and/or dreams. The musical track also serves as a positive and gentle reminder to trust in one's inner guidance to create the desired joyful present and future. I feel lucky and blessed that I came across this song at the right time for me, and that I followed my feeling to look up the song when it was on my mind last night. I also intend to purchase the greatest hits collection by "The Moody Blues" after hearing the beautiful tune that is "The Voice". "The Voice" is a wonderful blend of classic rock, soft rock, and 80's pop. I would say to definitely consider getting this song if you are open to listening to 80's British music, soft rock sounds, and/or you enjoyed listening to "Your Wildest Dreams".

5.0 out of 5 stars This Music Puts You in a Pleasurable ConsciousnessFebruary 7, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have to first start off by saying that I am happy and pleased with the number of hits that are included in this collection of Robbie William's Hits. The songs that stood out for me the most are:
1)She's the One-A great track on what it feels like to be with someone that is like your twin soul. He recently found true love with US model and actress Ayda Field (Robbie married her at his Los Angeles mansion in the summer of 2010) (I saw a picture of them on a bbc website, they are a cute couple). The point that I am making is that because he has found true love that the title "She's the One" has come to be the real-life connection to his great musical art.
2)Rock DJ- A great song about having fun, and making the best of your life regardless of where in your journey that you are.
3)Millenium- A song that symbolizes taking inventory of where a person is in their life while an abundance of time is available.
4)Angels- A beautiful song about enjoying the company of kind people (symbolized by the lyrics I'm loving angels instead).
5)Do Me Now- A catchy song about the many fascinating things that he is interested in, but that although he has many interest, that in the now moment it is more important to him to seize the moment and have fun.
6)Feel- A beautiful song about experiencing passionate and happy love. His music video has him playing a rodeo star, and Hannah plays as his love interest. I love both the video and the song to "Feel". I admit that I thought that Robbie Willliams looked very handsome in the "Feel" video. However, his quality lyrics and strong singing expressed in "Feel" proves that he is much more than just an attractive face(and that Robbie truly has the gift of singing great songs). "Feel" by Robbie Williams is one of my favorite songs because it expresses how passion can serve as a positive agent for joyful change in a person's life.
7)Bodies- A very sexy song that is tastefully done, and appears to be about striving to make sense of the importance of seeing the beauty in one's body even amidst the societal obsession with having "perfect" and/or "thin" bodies.

Getting this three cd set by Robbie Williams was so very worth it because of the number of good songs and his excellent voice. There is something magnetic and powerful about Robbie William's voice that goes wonderfully with many of this songs. Please consider getting this collection of Robbie's if you like any of his songs and/or you enjoy pop music. In my humble opinion, Robbie has so much talent and creatively expresses his spirit through his music (it beautifully shows through many of the songs on this three cd set). I would even dare to say that Robbie deserves alot more attention here in America because of the superb music that he creates, and his powerful singing voice).

5.0 out of 5 stars A Solid RecoveryFebruary 7, 2011
This review is from: Recovery [Explicit] (Audio CD)
This is a very strong compilation from Eminem. I really feel that Eminem put alot of energy in making sure that listeners get a great musical cd. Yes, many of his finest songs on this cds have some strong language. However, the songs that have the most daring lyrics are some of the best songs. All of the songs on this Recovery collection are very cutting-edge and daring (in a fun and exciting way). The following five songs stood out for me the most:
1)W.T.P: A very naughty but exciting song about having a party involving people having fun.
2)Space Bound: A very daring but creative love song about being with someone that you truly have. Eminem sings with such strong conviction that he really excels at singing daring love songs like this with such lyrics as: you take my breath away, you're a supernova. I really enjoyed hearing the side of him of what it feels like through his perspective of what it means to be in love. The only caveat I had with this song is that he sings about literally choking the person he loves if she ever thought about leaving him, with the following words: I put both hands on your throat. Yes, I understand that it is just entertainment (also I am sure that Eminem himself does not condone abusing your partners in any form). My husband even playfully joked with me about there being nothing wrong with choking the person you love if they leave you (please understand that my husband was just joking and is actually a sweet person who is very laidback, and does not condone physical or verbal abuse). However, hopefully countless other couples that hear this song are also going to understand that this song is only entertainment and is no way endorsing the act of killing someone who leaves you.
3)Cinderella Man- A great song about making comebacks in life, and making the most of second chances that you are given. I also like how he subtly drops the concept of time travel with the lyrics "music is my time machine".
4)Love the Way You Lie- This was a great collaboration that Eminem did with Rihanna (I thought that they had strong chemistry together in this song). The video and the song are both a powerful combination and sends a strong message how love can play a strong influence in the challenge threshold that one is willing to endure for someone that means so much to them.
5) So Bad- I admit that this was my favorite song by him. Yes, this musical track can pretty much be titled a "Bad Boy's Anthem". He sings about giving his sexual conquests such good sex that he is going to end up being forever embedded in their memories. The lyrics are very wild but so much fun that you are going to have to listen to the song in order to see for yourself why this song can safely be titled a "Bad Boy's Anthem" and/or a "Player's Anthem". However, I confess that this song was one that I enjoyed so much that it has been played multiple times since I had this cd.

There are other songs on this cd that may appeal more to others. However, to sum it up this cd is very good. After listening to this I definitely plan on tuning into this year's Grammy Awards show because I am rooting for him to win some awards.Eminem has definitely put out an enjoyable album to listen to with "Recovery".

5.0 out of 5 stars A Versatile Country CollectionFebruary 7, 2011
This review is from: Now Country Volume 3 (Audio CD)
This is a great selection of many of today's hottest country stars. There is a wide selection of artists to choose from, and a diverse range of country songs to enjoy. I felt compelled to obtain this cd when I saw the selection of country artists featured on this cd, and I am glad that I went with the feeling. I say this because all of the musical tracks in this Now Country Music compilation are good. The musical creations that stood out for me the most were "Crazy Town" by Jason Aldean, "Up On the Ridge" by Dierks Bientley, and "Unstoppable" by Rascal Flatts. "Up On the Ridge" by Dierks Bentley is a strong musical number about meeting up with someone for a carefree get-together. "Crazy Town" by Jason Aldean appears to be about the paths that people have to be aware of when going after their dreams of fame and fortune. My favorite song in this collection is "Unstoppable" by Rascal Flatts. "Unstoppable" is an uplifting and happy song about picking yourself up by your bootstraps and perservering. This song also appears to be about learning through your mistakes and transforming them into blessings through the tools of faith and believing in yourself. I love how Rascall Flatts sends a positive message through "Unstoppable" that it is more how your pick yourself back up that matters. Definitely consider getting this compilation if you like various artists hits collection, you enjoy country music, and/or you are open to listening to country music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Collective Set of HitsFebruary 7, 2011
This is a fantastic compilation by Collective Soul. This was one of the groups that actually got me interested in opening my mind to listen to rock music when I first heard them as a teenager via watching their "Shine" music video on MTV (I really only started to listen to rock music more frequently around the time I turned 14, and there was something about the "Shine" video that drew me in). I just wish that they would have included more songs on their greatest hits collection. I would say that many of these songs have a strong alternative rock sound with a heavy southern influence (the group was originally formed in Georgia). Lead singer Ed Roland sings with much conviction and intensity in many of the songs that one can get a sense that he really cared about communicating important messages through his songs. For example, in the song "Shine" I think that Ed and the rest of his band members were trying to send a vital message about seeing the good and what is appealing in everyone regardless if they fit into the mainstream of society (that is the message that I appeared to pick up after watching the video to "Shine"). There are some other musical tracks that compare to "Shine" in a great way such as "Precious Declaration", "Gel", "December", "Run", and "The World I Know". "The World I Know" appears to be about staying emotionally strong and laughing at oneself through the process of change. "Run" appears to be content with where you are at, and making peace with whatever is in your life regardless of what you are planning on your journey. "December" appears to be a musical number about the strong impact that someone close to you can have in all areas of your life. "Precious Declaration" appears to be about the values of freedom and staying hopeful regardless of external circumstances. My personal overall favorite song is "Gel" which appears to be about accepting others in your immediate environment for who they are, even when it may be different from someone's personal belief system and/or shatters their paradigm of their expectations. This is a quality greatest hits to have if you like 90's rock music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Steamy and ClassyFebruary 7, 2011
This is a very romantic and steamy song about a person who bluntly states that they would like some private time with the one that they are attracted to. "One one One" implies how he would like to play "fun games" with his conquest. He makes it very clear that he has physically expressing his desires on the mind when the lyrics are mentioned "I want to play with you girl, just you and me". You are most likely going to enjoy "One one One" if you have heard the songs the followings songs before and enjoyed them: "Kiss On My List", "Out of Touch", "You Make My Dreams Come True", "Private Eyes" and/or "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do).

5.0 out of 5 stars A Good Song with Fine VocalsFebruary 7, 2011
Words can only partly describe the classic that this song is. This musical track is a very energetic and dance/pop creation about someone imagining what it would be like to be the lover of someone that they really desire. Sophie puts alot of soul and energy in this song in a very creative and intense way. I love how she paints a good story in her songs such as when she mentions while singing that she had a dream that she was the hero of the one she very much wants. She also makes it fun by mentioning about making her fantasy lover "feel much better". What makes this musical track even more appealing is that Sophie sings really beautiful vocals to go along with the great lyrics to the song. "Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover" compares to two of the following other songs of Sophie B. Hawkins in a good way:
"As I Lay Me Down"- A great musical track about how she appreciates her lover and intends to always be happy. This is such a beautiful song, and the video I saw to this on youtube is very good.
"Right Beside You"- This is also another song that showcases her gorgeous voice, and she sings with the same passion and great spirit as "Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover."

If you happen to like "As I Lay Me Down" and/or "Right Beside You" then it is most likely that you are going to the fine musical melody that is "Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover".

5.0 out of 5 stars High-Quality Peter Gabriel HitsFebruary 4, 2011

This review is from: Hit (Audio CD)
This collection by Peter Gabriel is definitely a collection full of great hits. Some of my personal favorite songs included in this greatest hits cd set are:
Solsbury Hill
Shock the Monkey
Sledgehammer
Games Without Frontiers
Digging in the Dirt
Steam
Lovetown

My overall favorite song is "Sledgehammer" because he cleverly phrases the lyrics in a way to express what he plans to be to his lover in a tasteful and unique manner. "Games Without Frontiers" came in as my second most favorite Peter Gabriel song because he expresses great talent in making a political message in how idealogies between different countries can sometimes cause a challenge in diplomatic relations. I also like how he wisely sings the lyrics in the song "Dressing Up in Costumes, Playing Silly Games". I also believe that the song sends a thoughtful and positive message about looking past the external appearance of someone and instead making a open-minded observation based on what is picked up from their personality and spirit. The greatest hits collection is a high-quality and strong cd set that is a good collection to have if you enjoy 80's music, Phil Collins, Genesis, pop music, and/or rock music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Satisfying to the CoreFebruary 4, 2011
This song definitely does touch your spirit in a musical and joyful way. I love listening to "Can I Touch You There?" because it is very sensual, romantic, and beautiful. I believe that "Can I Touch You There?" is about someone confirming with their lover that it is ok to get closer and take things further. Then it gets even more interesting when he sings about showing the person that he desires just what love can do. Both the music and the lyrics complement each other very well. I remember first hearing this song as a teenager and really being touched by it on an emotional level. I love how Michael Bolton shows a sensual, daring, and happy side as he sings this. Yes, he is known for singing many love themed musical creations. However, this is one of my favorite songs by him because he sings about passionate, exciting, and sensual love in a very beautiful, uplifting, and classy manner. Plus, Michael musically took chances singing "Can I Touch You There?, and he really did this song so creatively and with such intensity that any other singer that ever tries to remake this song is going to have big shoes to fill. I admit that I got interested in downloading this song just yesterday evening when I was looking for some unique and great love songs to add to my musical library (plus I love very sensual songs). For some reason, I was compiling a list (of daring musical tracks) on my ipod when this song spontaneously came to mind. I decided to go with this feeling, download and buy this good musical gem, and listen to it. As I listened to it, I was instantly moved and uplifted by the song just as much as I had been when I first heard it as a teenager. This song is very much worthwhile to get if you enjoy sensual pop songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent MagazineFebruary 3, 2011

I certainly agree with the other reviewers that Britain magazine is a wonderful publication to subscribe to. I made a decision to purchase this subscription because I intend to accomplish one of my personal goals to visit England for at least a week. Britain magazine provides gorgeous photos and extensive information on the various travel gems and destinations to check out during your visit(s) to Great Britain. For example, I currently have the March 2011 issue of Britain magazine. The following is some of the fascinating information that is featured in the March 2011 issue that helps make the publication a worthwhile read:
1)There is a special feature on Unusual Museums (with some very original and fascinating places to symbolize the Unusual moniker). For instance, The Museum of Witchcraft is featured in this issue. The location of this one of a kind museum is listed as being in Boscastle Cornwall. According to the magazine, many witches and warlocks are currently celebrating the fact that it has been opened for 50 years. There is a library of over 3,000 books inside of it, and is known to hold one of the world's most extensive collection of witchcraft paraphernalia(in addition the website to check out this museum is featured in the March 2011 publication). The article also lists The British Lawnmower Museum, which is an innovative museum for lawnmower enthusiasts.
2)There is a well organized compilation of Places to Stay that are listed. A couple of the places that fascinated me are: 1) The Royal Oak House and 2)Regency Cheltenham.

There is so much more great information featured in the well-done magazine. In my humble opinion, you definitely get a good quality publication in Britain magazine for what you pay (overall good value for the money). This magazine is very worthwhile to obtain if you have even a casual interest in visiting and/or living in Britain.

5.0 out of 5 stars Music that is Creative and UpbeatJanuary 30, 2011

This review is from: Party Around the World (Audio CD)
I too agree with the reviews that this music on this cd is bubblegum pop at its finest. There are many upbeat and fun dance/pop songs from the Swedish group Smile.dk on here that every song on this quality cd has creative substance. This is one of those rare cds where every song on the compilation stands on its own. The following are the songs that I would recommend listening to first before playing the whole cd:

"Temptation Island"- A very energetic and fun summer themed song about allowing your free spirit to rein, and allowing oneself to experience all the good things that life has to offer.
"Koko Soko"- A very unique song that has a lovely fusion of Japanese, electronic, dance, and trance music fused together. The song is about making a connection with someone that is very special and brings much joy and light.
"Summer Party"- A great summer-themed musical track about dancing, having a good time, and letting oneself act a little wild and uninhibited (with the use of the lyrics used of "acting naughty").
"Hummingbird"- A great melody about finding ways to feel good in your life regardless of external circumstances (the upbeat music used in this really adds to the positive strength of the song)
"Paradise"- This is a more mellow and calm song. However, both the lyrics and music are very beautiful and give you a feeling of being in your own personal heaven. It is a gorgeous song about creating heaven on earth for yourself, and wanting to "give heaven" to the person that gives those positive feelings of being "in paradise".
I have had this cd since December 2008, and I find it even more enjoyable to listen to than when I first purchased it. I was still in the navy at the time, and I was looking for music to play at work that would put me and others who work around me in a good mood. Please understand that I appreciate my time that I spent in the navy, but it was important to me find music that would help add to creating a positive work environment (especially since I was lucky to work in an area that allowed music). I fortunately found what I was looking for in purchasing this cd because even one of the supervisors at the time found this music enjoyable, and asked me who the group was. Listening to this cd (when I first bought it back in December 2008) gave me an emotional boost regardless of whether I was playing it at work or at home. This cd still is great to listen in order to increase euphoric feelings regardless of the location it is being played. This is an all purpose compilation to listen to whether at work, home, and/or excercising (such as walking or running).

I have had the good fortune of listening to Future Trance Vol. 40, and I was pleased that Future Trance Vol. 41 is also a good quality compilation. Future Trance Vol 41 has many pleasing and unique musical tracks to listen to such as in Vo. 40. Both Disc 1 and 2 had some good and energetic songs, but I did enjoy Disc 2 more. My favorite songs from Disc 1 are:
"Summer of 69" by TopModelz (an interesing remake of the Bryan Adams version)
"Heaven" by Manian
"Let's All Chant" by Straight Flush
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Naksi vs Brunner

My favorite songs from Disc 2:
"Love Is Everywhere (New Location)" by Westbam and the Love Committee
"Ride Like The Wind" by Michael Mind
"Waiting For" by Peter Gelderblom (a great remake of the Red Hot Chili Pepppers cover)
"Another World Part II" by DJ Shog (the music and vocals is very one of a kind)
"The One" by Sylver (this is one of my favorite songs by this group)
"Like Flames" by Twenty 4 Seven feat. Elle
"Power" by Shaun Baker (a catchy tune about feeling power within yourself
"Deeper" by Fragma (I believe that this song is about passionate desire from the same artist who is known for the musical masterpiece that is the musical track of "Toca's Miracle")
"You Wanted Love" by 2 Vibez
"Walking A Line" by Cane (this is my overall favorite song on this cd, it is a good song about what can happen when you get addicted to someone because of the euphoria and overall pleasure they bring into your life, and try as you might you keep on wanting to come back for more from such a person)

Future Trance Vol. 41 is a good cd to listen to when you are doing physical activity such as walking or running. This would also be a good compilation to play for giving happiness to yourself, and/or to play at a party.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting and Enjoyable Rock SongsJanuary 29, 2011
This compilation has a great mix of edgy hard rock/alternative rock music from the 1990's and 2000's. Some of the great songs featured on this 3 cd set collection are:
1)Headstrong by Trapt
2)Remedy by Seether
3)Alive by P.O.D
4)Bring Me to Life by Evanescence
5)Machinehead by Bush
6)The Bad Touch by the Bloodhound Gang
7)Youth of the Nation by P.O.D
8)You and Me by Lifehouse
9)Be Like That by 3 Doors Down

This is only a snapshot of the hits that are featured in this 3 cd set (the 9 songs I listed are only some out of the 50 musical tracks available). I did enjoy the wide range of the artists featured in this selection, but there are some songs that I feel would have been good to include such as "Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down, "Through Glass" by Stone Sour, "Dani California" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and "Dance Dance" by Fall Out Boy. However, I still recommend obtaining this three cd set if you enjoy hard rock/alternative rock from the 1990's and the 2000's.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very Likeable Musical TrackJanuary 28, 2011
This review is from: Like I Love You (MP3 Music)
"Like I Love You" is an upbeat and edgy musical track that was one of Justin's fun introductions to the public to coincide with his solo career. I remember how popular this song was when it first came out. I was living in Yokosuka, Japan (I was stationed there around this time when I was in the navy) and I was at a high quality department clothing store when this song was played. I was hanging out with a group of people, and I know at least a couple of them (besides just myself) that was enjoying the song as it was played. This musical track was enjoyable then, and still is now because of the great music and daring lyrics featured together in the song. It is about a person who just wants to enjoy the person that they have an attraction towards (with the lyrics "I just want to love you baby"). I would definitely say that this song is worth obtaining if you enjoyed the song "Girlfriend" when Justin was still in 'N Sync and/or you like any of Justin Timberlake's other daring songs such as "Rock Your Body".

5.0 out of 5 stars A Good Song about EmpowermentJanuary 28, 2011
This is a very catchy and inspirational tune on what it means to be self-reliant. I remember the song when it first came out because it was being promoted for the newer version of the Charlie's Angels Movie (Charlie's angels is even quoted in the song). I like the positive theme to the song about learning to always be independent in all areas of your life, and of it being 50/50 in relationships. The song sends a positive message to avoid depending on others to give you what you want, and to instead find ways to obtain your desires through your own means (the group cleverly does this by using lyrics such as "the shoes on my feet, I bought it", and with mentioning how they even paid for the place they live in). This is also a good song to listen to for putting oneself in a prosperous state of mind. Overall, this is definitely a song to listen to if you like any of Beyonce's songs and/or any music from Destiny's Child.
