To All Looking At This Curious; Obviously, as of January 2014 I no longer use marriedutopianstriver username for my yelp reviews. For karmic, practical and spiritual reasons, I prefer to use my yelp label handle of Stella C. with the nickname luckywoman2078. One reason for me posting and archiving these reviews now regardless of the judgement I may face is for logic and intuitive interests for me to pay attention to when it comes to future investment money goals, other type of goals etc. I have other good reasons for keeping track of these yelp reviews and yet my logic and intuition are influencing me from refraining from doing so with the understanding that a full understanding for myself on why I am doing this is going to be unfolded to me within 4 years or less.

"Frozen Yo" in Columbia Heights serves up some of the smoothest and delightful yogurts (in such flavors as pistachio, strawberry, cheesecake, and more diverse flavors). All of the women working inside this place were cheerful and helped provide a welcoming atmosphere for the customers. There was even a person situated at the topping bar enthusiastically making sure that there were adequate helpings of kiwi, cherries, kit kat bars, almonds, and other various tasty toppings for those filling up their yogurt cups.  Both the topping bar person and the cashier exuded both a courteous and professional vibe.  My spouse and I are glad to have chosen this place as a dessert destination.

"Z Burger" in Columbia Heights serves extremely tasty burgers and fries. I also found it great that one of the cashiers (Mohammed) courteously greeted my spouse and I coming in. Both of our orders came in at decent times. My husband had the cheesesteak (with cherry dr. pepper) while I had a bacon cheeseburger with fried egg, fried onions, and mushrooms (with a rootbeer). We both shared the half and half order of French fries and onion rings (which by the way also tasted satisfactory). The fries were cooked to a good texture and had a seasoning that went well with the Mango sauces and Z sauces. The onion rings also tasted superb and were cooked in a batter that complemented the overall meal. We both also felt like we got our money's worth at "Z Burger."  "Z Burger" is a fitting place to go to for appetizing burgers and fries.

I went to this movie theater last night to see "Despicable Me 2".  I have actually been going to this movie theater since 2010 and have to say that the customer service is actually getting better. My husband and I were able to order and receive our drinks and snacks in a timely manner. We ordered our tickets online through fandango only because the only catch is that you have to allow at least thirty minutes before the movie time to obtain a ticket (due to the lines getting long here during the holidays and weekends, especially for the summer).  As we were leaving, one of the workers, (I recall it may have been one of the supervisors and/or managers) at least took the time to enthusiastically thank the movie patrons for coming.  From this, I can deduce that they must be taking actions here to improve the movie going experience for the customers.
  • Five Guys

    3.0 star rating
    7/3/2013
This "Five Guys" restaurant is pretty close by the Regal Hyattsville Royale 14 movie theater, which makes it convenient for catching a bite to eat before watching the latest  film. I admit that I like the Shake Shack burgers and fries more than Five Guys, but my spouse enjoys the Five Guys burger and fries more than Shake Shack burgers. My spouse and I both had the regular size bacon cheeseburgers. The only difference was that he had his burger with regular fries and diet coke while I had mine with cajun fries and a soft drink medley of root beer and cherry coke.  I would eat there again, but only ordering the burgers and not the fries. This is only because I felt that the fries are sometimes unintentionally overcooked and I had to ask for more seasoning after initially being given fries that look and taste comparable to the ones I can get in the frozen section of a grocery store. In all fairness, the customer service is also at least decent.  However, this is a reasonable priced place to eat at for decent taste and fair prices prior to seeing a movie.

The pros to Clucksters: decent customer service and reasonably priced.
My husband had the parmesan chicken sandwich (comes with the marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese) with a Diet Pepsi drink and I had one of their burgers with sierra mist. We shared the fried mozzarella sticks and the mushrooms.  The Honey Bees (honey glazed biscuits) were pretty good. The only caveat I had with the food was my burger. The cook did a fair job in making sure that the burger was adequately cooked. It was just that I was not use to the taste of the burger itself.  I ended up not finishing the burger. Additionally, the ranch sauce for the mushrooms also tasted different than I expected. In their defense, the ranch sauces are probably packaged in a certain way due to corporate rules.  It was just that I was hoping for a ranch sauce flavoring that tasted even better than what I can get at a grocery store.  The burger and ranch caveats are the main reasons why I must rank my experience as a three star versus a five star. However, my husband was satisfied with the chicken parmesan sandwich and let me try some of his sandwich (it was pretty decent). Overall, I would rate Cluckster's  a 6.5 on a scale of 1-10 due to the chicken tasting ok, but there is room for improvement when it comes to the actual taste of the Cluckster hamburgers.

Shake Shack is a place of both delicious food and strong customer service. I recommend their scrumptious Shack Stack, a mouthwatering  cheeseburger filled with a tasty muenster and cheddar cheese Portobello  mushroom. Their cheese fries are a crafty blend of American and cheddar cheese sauce. I admit that I get their shack stack and cheese fries each time I eat there.  Their rootbeer is pretty satisfying as well. Their price is pretty fair for the quality of their food.

I'm pretty lucky in the fact that my mother in law wanted to visit Bath & Body Works this past weekend.  White Citrus, Sexy Dahlia Rush, Twilight Wood, and Coconut Lime collections are among the multiple products that she generously gifted me with. The workers in this store appeared attentive to her questions and genuinely concerned with letting us know about their latest deals.

My mother in law treated my husband and I to a breakfast this past weekend at Silver Diner in Greenbelt, Maryland. My husband had the huevos rancheros, one of the food items that my mother in law had was a spinach and feta cheese egg dish, and I had the lumberjack breakfast that had pancakes, over medium eggs, (with bacon and sausage). All of us enjoyed our meals and the waiter was attentive to our orders. The Silver Diner in Greenbelt, Maryland is a suitable place to eat at for low cost breakfast food.

My husband and I spotted "Byblos Deli" this past Saturday as we were walking through the Cleveland Park neighborhood.  We both had the satisfying gyros that included beef and lamb from the skewer with pita bread, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki. I admit that I also enjoyed 2 of the rootbeers with my order and my husband also had two sodas (one of them being a tasty grape soda). My husband also had some of their rice and hummus. He shared some of the hummus with me (which was also pretty good).  The sandwich was so filling to the point that I had to ask my husband to finish my gyro for me.  "Byblos Deli" is a terrific place to eat at for superb Greek food at reasonable prices.

Eurasian Hotpot Noodles & Hotpot caught my husband's attention this past Friday and he encouraged me to go with him during lunchtime.  We shared the cheese asparagus and friend dumpling appetizers. I had the Grilled Shrimp Vermicelli while my husband had the Egg Noodle Roasted Pork& Shrimp. Our servers were courteous and attentive to our meal requests. The meals were also cooked decent and we were served our food within a well- orchestrated timeframe.

They also sell diverse forms of furniture and offer discount cards that greatly reduce the price of their clothing that makes shopping there even more affordable.  I was able to easily get three polo shirts in my size for less than 18 dollars. Value Village Thrift Store is definitely a terrific store for reduced price clothing that is still wearable.

I liked that the waitress took the orders of my husband and I within a reasonable time frame. The pizza also tasted pretty good and our food was served promptly. My husband had the 8 inch Margherita (tomato, basil, mozzarella) with Dr. Pepper while I had the Quattro Formaggi (4 cheese)with mushrooms and rootbeer. We both shared an appetizer called the Crostino Formaggio Di Capra, which had sundried tomato basil, prosciutto, goat cheese, and toasted bread. This is a good place to eat tasty pizza.

This Columbia Heights Target had a decent and ample stocking of groceries and other merchandise. Additionally, the cashier met my request to have the groceries bagged a certain way in a quick and efficient manner. My only complaint was that the cashier could have been a little friendlier. In their defense, they may have been having a challenging day. However, a little friendliness would at least give me a feeling that customers are appreciated at this location.

The pros to this Wheaton Panera Bread location: Both the cashiers and those who serve the food are both approachable and were courteous. My order was also served quickly. I liked their French onion soup. The cons: I actually thought about getting the chilled shrimp and soba noodle salad, but instead went with the shrimp salad roll sandwich.  The shrimp and advocadao tasted ok, but lemon tarragon mayo taste was nearly non-existent. I felt like I was just eating a shrimp, lettuce, and advocado sandwich with a miniscule amount of condiment.  Due to the decent customer service, I may come back in the future but obviously order another sandwich.

The food here at Charley's Grilled Subs is cooked with care in front of you and the cashier had a pleasant demeanor. My spouse chose the philly deluxe sandwich (which he found tasty)  with dr pepper while I selected a delectable tasting smokehouse bacon bbq sandwich with rootbeer and bacon cheesefries. I became full from eating just the sandwich and was only able to consume a few bites of the fries. Naturally, I gave the fries to my husband to finish off.

This Hyattsville Dollar store on University Blvd has among some of the best discounts for essential household, beauty products, and food items.  I especially like to purchase the body washes and conditioners for my  husband and I because of the decent quality that comes with the low cost.  On my most recent trip, I purchased some aluminum foil, plastic bowls, and food at cheap prices. Due to the high demand in my neighborhood for the deals at the Dollar store, there is often a long line of customers waiting to purchase their items. However, each time I visit, I notice that the cashiers genuinely care about still giving cheerful service while taking care of high demand of customers. Obviously, this dollar store is great to purchase essentials at for price bargains  and to receive good customer service.

My  husband and I recently checked out this Little Caesars pizza location to see how the taste would match up in accordance with the price. Pros: The cashier was cheerful, friendly, and did her best to serve the food in a quick manner. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how quick we received our pizza, wings, and crazy bread.  Additionally, the food was extremely low cost  (in a good way) for being a pizza place. The cons: My husband liked the wings more than I did, only because the wings came with a tasty sauce, but I only wish that they were cooked just a little bit longer. Both of us liked the "crazy bread" and marinara sauce, but neither of us ate much of the pizza.  The pizza was cooked fine, it was just that I wish that it contained more tomato sauce and Italian seasonings. Despite the three stars, my husband and I may come back to this Little Caesar's location because the cashier made us both feel welcome as customers and due to the food being low-cost.  We would just order a different pizza from the Supreme pizza that was selected.

All three of us shared an 18 inch Down The Hill pizza that contains a tasty blend of sliced meatballs, house made sausage, carmelized onion, roasted peppers, wild mushrooms, and kalamata olived. The pros to Shophouse Southeast Asian Kitchen (Dupont Circle): Good customer service, unique music playing in the background, and reasonable affordability for the food that is purchased. My husband had pork & chicken meatballs with broccoli, green curry sauce, green papaya slaw, crispy garlic, and rice. My husband liked all parts of his meal. In contrast, I chose rice noodles with grilled steak laab, eggplant & thai basil, spicy red curry, cilantro, and garlic.  The steak lab, eggplant & thai basil, and red curry sauce tasted differently from what I expected and I ended up giving these portions of my food to my husband. However, I was ok with the rice noodles, cilantro, and roasted garlic.  However, due to the friendly customer service, I may come back in the future if my husband and/or my friends wanted to eat at Shophouse Southeast Asian Kitchen (Dupont Circle).

My spouse and I last ate here less than 12 hours ago and were met with cheerful service. My husband chose to have the Spicy Italian value meal with  a Dr. Pepper drink. I chose the limited time offering of the Prime Rib melt value meal with a drink that was a hybrid of cherry coke and lemonade. Their range of toppings and condiments are tasty complements to the sandwiches. For instance, some of the toppings that were on my sandwich were red pepper blend, black olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, olive oil, pickles, and green peppers. The server was friendly, attentive to our requests, and made my husband and I feel appreciated as customers.  My husband and I shared an appetizer of Wild West shrimp that was pleasant tasting.  My spouse enjoyed a Ribeye with Caesar salad and mashed potatoes with diet coke. Meanwhile, I ate tasty offerings of what were a Porcini Ribeye, sweet potato, and Caesar salad with sprite.
