Past Online Reviews from August 18 2016 to March 1, 2011 part one

I have decided to my online US reviews from the period of August 18, 2016 and going from that direction to March 1, 2011. Obviously, I am only going to have time to post maybe 2-3 months today. It was actually a challenging choice for me to do this now as I am waiting on the results of me applying for a job connected to my University of Maryland College Park food services job that would help me take care of May 17, 2017 to August 17, 2017 timeframe. I say this because some of my postings show a very sensual side that is somewhat controversial for someone of my personality and physical appearance. I feel blessed with my current job and I look forward to getting renewed to return for fall, yet my own logic was fighting me on posting these reviews so soon because I am metaphorically stripping myself naked for the world to see because I was definitely showing my true colors very vibrantly from December 13, 2015 to early July 2016. However, my heart is indirectly influencing me to do this and I trust that I'm creating an outcome to understand more fully the why within 1-2 years or less from now. I intend to section each post by 40 Reviewswith exception of my first post which is going to list 43 reviews

This review is from: Stella in Heaven (Paperback)
I preface this review by making it clear that my interest in heaven-related media is independent from the fact that I’m blessed with great physical health and I intend to live until at least the year 2065 in my current lifetime or longer (but I understand that death is one of the few areas that a person may not have a say in when they die). Anyhow, I also consulted with my amazing husband before getting this book and he had a feeling that this book would interest me. Additionally, as an aspiring writer, this book helps give me added insight into how to write afterlife related stories as an author. This book Stella In Heaven by Art Buchwald is about a woman named Stella Folger who sets out to connect her husband to a new wife after she dies before him. Stella Folger does this from her new home in heaven and she also uses one of her wishes to contact him. The good; the author tells the truth about how the dynamic of Stella Folgers dying before her husband affected them both. Additionally, details are drawn between the backgrounds that Stella Folgers and her husband Roger Folgers came from. The caveats; I may be slightly biased because I’m blessed to have a mother-in-law who treats me as family and accepts me as a daughter in law but the writing leaves scant details on what maybe would help Stella Folgers and her mother in law Mimi get along better/at least be a little more civil to each other. Stella Folgers, although a self-confident and good wife when she was alive, is even a little guilty of acting standoffish and snobbish in how she treats her mother-in-law even in death (I want to explain more in detail about that yet I understand that others looking at this review may want to buy the book and still purchase the story). The other caveat; Some people may like the ending but I only wish that there could have been a follow-up book written to share how Stella Folgers goes on in heaven after the first book and I do believe that even if a person dies way before their spouse that there are spiritually enriching activities andor happy possibilities in their afterlife that can exist. However, I admit that this book, although fictional did inspire me to avoid trying to play matchmaker to my husband unless he prays for me to do so in the possibility that I die before him and leave him as a widower with multiple years still ahead of him on earth.

This review is from: Find Me In Heaven (Kindle Edition)
This Find Me In Heaven kindlebook by Kris Johnston interested me as an aspiring writer because of the topic involving a heavenly afterlife. I feel a calling to write some stories with heavenly worlds as a theme regardless of how worthy I’m judged by others on my qualifications for doing so. Anyhow, the character of Violet has a great job in California and her life is unexpectedly turned upside down when she begins communications with a successful Pennsylvania businessman. One must have an open mind because of the unique but richly riveting detail of the afterlife worlds featured such as with the houses and a Defending Your Life movie type of vibe with Violet trying one of her favorite foods in heaven. The story also touches on positive themes of celestial spirit helpers. Additionally, I’m glad to have got this kindlebook for free due to the fact that it was actually free when I came across discovering it.

It was an easy decision for me to take a chance on the Confessions Tour-Live From London (CD+DVD) by Madonna because my husband has originally purchased Madonna’s Confessions on the Dancefloor cd for me around the 2006/2007 timeframe. This dvd/cd set of the Confessions Tour-Live From London is even better than I expected because the cd has a medley of thrilling songs for the cd such as the motivational Jump, the daring Erotica, and the cheery Lucky Star concert versions of these songs, along with more songs on this 13 song collection. The live concert dvd has some of her underrated songs such as Like It or Not and Let It Will Be, a superb collection of 21 songs on the dvd (Jump and Ray of Light are among some of the concert performances that I enjoyed on this collection). I also like the bonuses included with the dvd such as the rollerskating and photogallery bonuses and that fact that this concert includes a performance where Madonna gives unadulterated and musically brave performances in the live concert of the Confessions Tour-Live From London.

I decided to take a chance on purchasing and listening to this upbeat collection that is Winner by the Pet Shop Boys after hearing and enjoying “A Certain Je Ne Sais Quoi” via iheartradio. The songs are both original and pleasant to listen to especially with The Way Through The Woods (long version) being a calming melody that could easily be played on an online electronica andor chillout type of radio station. I also like that the collection ended on a tricky to pin down yet musically pleasant vibe with “I Started A Joke.”

5.0 out of 5 stars I got this movie from a Redbox Rental Near Where I LiveAugust 17, 2016
This review is from: Eye in the Sky (DVD)
This film Eye In The Sky starring Helen Mirren as Colonel Katherine Powell, Alan Rickman as Lieutenant General Frank Benson and other actors/actresses involved in the film in a plot involving catching the people responsible for undercover British/Kenyan agent being killed. I noticed that Barkhad Abdi (from the Captain Phillips movie starring Tom Hanks) is in the Eye In The Sky film as well in an important role that I prefer to avoid discussing out of consideration for those who have yet to see the movie. Anyhow, the character of Powell ends up trying to coordinate authorization with Benson for a legitimate action in a timely manner with 2nd lieutenant Steve Watts (Aaron Paul) and A1C Carrie Gershon (Phoebe Fox). However, one of the major obstacles to timely defense comes up when various parties (played by Iain Glen,Monica Dolan, and more people etc.) cannot agree on when andor if to attack. Part of the controversy relates to the scenario of a little girl Alia (Aisha Takow) being affected by whatever is decided. Some of the bonus features included in the dvd are titled Perspectives and Morals. Eye In The Sky deals with the controversial debate involving military rules of engagement.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Classic Comedy FilmAugust 17, 2016
I admit that the movie of Don’t Go Near The Water caught my attention after I saw some details involving what the plot would be like and the fact that there was a novel written by William Brinkley of Don’t Go Near The Water that this movie is based on. The beginning of the film foreshadows the sense of light-hearted and carefree humor that this movie will have when the following quote is listed; A Great Naval Commander Once Said, Don’t Give Up Our Ship, The Sailors In Our Story Aren’t Worried By This, They Have No Ships To Give Up and They Don’t Go Near The Water.” In charge of the command is the character of a public relations officer by the name of Lieutenant Commander Clinton T. Nash. Lieutenant Max Siegel (Glenn Ford) is one of the leaders over the other military personnel stationed at a public relations command that is a seemingly quiet island (by military standards). Siegel falls in love with one of the local schoolteachers on the island named Melora Alba (played by Gia Scala). Siegel also ends up mentoring but being careful to also to toe the line of his professional duties (metaphorically speaking). This happens when Adam Garrett (Earl Holliman) plays an important role (in terms of plot development) when he confides in Siegel as well asking for his advice/help in how to handle the fact that he (Garrett) is madly in love with Lieutenant J.G. Alice Tomlen (Anne Francis). One of the funniest scenes that had me laughing so hard was the acting where Nash tried to get public relations military personal to do construction work that is actually meant to be done by trained navy construction personnel (a.k.a the Seabees). Of course, there are more actors and actresses in Don’t Go Near The Water yet I must avoid saying too much more out of consideration for other people who still want to see Don’t Go Near The Water. However, what I did find interesting is seeing online the details that life eventually imitated art for Glenn Ford when he became a public relations officer for the navy reserve some time after the movie was made and Earl Holliman is listed to have also done some time in the U.S. Navy (except previously before the filming). Of course, I would also gladly watch Don’t Go Near The Water again.

A Hologram for the King movie starring Tom Hanks as Alan Clay tells the story of a man who moves abroad to start all over after great change in both his personal and professional life. The beginning of the film even somewhat paints a picture of what previously happened to Alan Clay’s life through the song Once In A Lifetime by the Talking Heads. There are more pop culture references such as when one of the cab drivers plays the happy love song You’re The Inspiration by Chicago. There is also some club music played at a party he was invited to from a work colleague from Denmark. Alan Clay also wants to help his daughter pay for college and wants to parlay his business deal into using part of his financial proceeds to do so. Some of the bonus features to A Hologram For The King movie dvd: The Making of A Hologram For The King, From Novel to Screen: The Adaptation of A Hologram For The King, Perfecting the Culture, Also From Lionsgate.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Discovered This Cartoon From RedboxAugust 17, 2016
This review is from: Tom and Jerry Back to Oz (DVD)
The movie Tom and Jerry Back to Oz deals with the characters of both Tom and Jerry going back to the land of Oz with Dorothy shortly after a visit from some of residents from the Land of Oz. Much is at stake because one of the businessman threatening to take a great deal of what Dorothy’s family owns makes a significant amount of money from his cooking (he mentions about making a great deal of money selling a certain fruit flavored barbecue food). Additionally, Tom, Jerry, Dorothy, and the rest of the group end up going to a state fair held in Kansas in order to get vital help from the Wizard who is revered in the Land of Oz. Having the chance to watch the cartoon also helps give me ideas for plot points involving family stories that are turned into movies (I intend to write some books for adults and some separate stories for children under different pennames that are completely different from my current names and other names that I have held in my current lifetime).

I’m so glad that this compilation of Nothing But The Beat 2.0 by David Guetta is available from Amazon Prime because I purchased Nothing But The Beat back in 2011 and was thrilled to hear some great music additions to this collection as part of my Amazon prime membership. If you like various songs from the 2011 version of Nothing But The Beat such as Little Bad Girl feat. Taio Cruz & Ludacris, Turn Me On feat. Nicki Minaj, I Can Only Imagine (feat. Lil Wayne, Chris Brown), Crank It Up feat. Akon, Titanium feat. Sia etc. then you may also like Nothing But The Beat 2.0. This is because Nothing But The Beat 2.0 has upbeat club hits in the same musically energetic spirit as the 2011 version with such songs as Play Hard (feat. Neyo & Akon), Every Chance We Get We Run (feat. Tegan & Sara), Metropolis feat. Nicky Romero etc.

This music collection of Basement Jax The Singles contain a multitude of eclectic electronic and club beats. One of the first songs that drew me to wanting to hear more of their music was the song Rendezvous that I first heard in the early 2000’s when I was stationed in Japan (via a music cd of various artists). There are other great songs on this collection such as Romeo (feat. Kele Le Roc), Where’s Your Heat At (there is a crazy video of the song that is viewable online). Good Luck feat. Writing Fantasy: The Top 100 Best Strategies For Writing Fantasy Stories (Epic Fantasy Fiction Adventure Story & Book Writing)

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fantasy Guide PrimerAugust 17, 2016
I’m happy to admit that I obtained this kindlebook of Writing Fantasy: The Top 100 Best Strategies For Writing Fantasy Stories by Blaine Hart from the Amazon kindle unlimited program. My mother-in-law recently generously gifted my husband and I with a 2 year Amazon Kindle Unlimited membership and this was one of the books I chose for the kindle unlimited membership. Some of the positives; there is explanation of defining a writing goal such as involving writing a series of stories, giving oneself a due date, the benefits of writing each day even if it is a little bit of free writing, reminding yourself to go over your whys in writing for extra encouragement especially when you may be judged for bravely sharing your writing, physical exercise as a motivational tool for writing (I admit that this has been helping me a great deal especially for my creativity),finding your niche audience, and much more.

This episode of Today’s Book Publishing Landscape from Season 1 of How To Publish Your Book gave me a lot of informative details for me to consider. The speaker of the episode has been affiliated with Writer’s Digest. Some of the information covered just in Episode 1 of How To Publish Your Book; Penguin Randomhouse, Harper Collins, Harlequin Enterprises, Simon & Schuster, Hachette Book Group, and McMillan are some of the major book publishers mentioned in the documentary. Amazon is one of the companies referenced in this episode as a top retailer of books. There is also mention that self-published titles tripled from 2006 to 2011 and more. Obviously after watching this episode I intend to eventually purchase the remaining season within the next 3 months or less.

5.0 out of 5 stars Intuition AnthemAugust 17, 2016
This review is from: Intuition (MP3 Music)
I have originally purchased the Intuition compilation by DJ Encore back in June 5, 2007 and found multiple songs on the collection to be enjoyable. I admit that the song Intuition resonated with me more and more after 2009 when I started undergoing many changes which I acknowledge that I’m responsible for. Anyhow, listening to Intuition by DJ Encore reminds me to also consider my own feelings and intuitive hunches in situations. My soul craves helpful information, even if from critics, that is unbiased advice. From my perspective, my intuition helps me to listen to advice from both my supporters and critics that is both unbiased and helps me sort out the information that is better than what I can come up with from speculative information that applies to someone else. The singing and vocals bring alive the theme of Intuition by DJ Encore.

Finding out about this book Discover Your Soul’s Path Through The Akashic Records; Taking Your Life From Ordinary to Extraordinary by Linda Howe is a spiritual blessing to me. For one thing, I have to properly credit this author for providing the material that helped inspired me for some of the freestyle writings that I have wrote on my blogs and some that I have even posted on Linkedin back in late 2015/early 2016. Additionally, I’m a heart-centered woman who prefers to see the good in others and is in the process of improving her self-confidence while striking a careful balance between assertiveness and aggressiveness. This book is healing to me because it helps remind me to see the beauty and unlimited potential in myself and others and that even I have a purpose for being here during my current lifetime. Some of the helpful/healing themes in this book; The Lords, masters, and teachers of the Akashic Records who a person can call on when they are accessing their own akashic records (pages 30-31), considering a discipline in alignment with your true heart’s desire and will (page 99), balancing the triangle as a conscious manifestation in action practice (pertaining to chapter nine pages 139-151).

5.0 out of 5 stars I Spotted This Relaxer at the Family Dollar StoreAugust 16, 2016
As an Amateur reviewer/writer (and not out to undermine paid writers/reviewers), I must make it clear that I purchased the Ultra Sheen Supreme Relaxer Value Pack (Super Version) from my local Family Dollar Store out of my own financial/money pocket (just with a different beauty model pictured) because the 2 relaxer kit was only 6 dollars and 50 cents (basically $3.25 per super version of the relaxer kit). The kit comes with user friendly directions, spatula, gloves, dual purpose hair shampoo, styling and setting lotion which I confess to not using but I might use tomorrow in conjunction with another hair product, gloves, crème relaxer bottles A, and liquid activator bottles B. The positives; The relaxer did a great job with straightening my hair at the bargain price that I paid. The caveats: while affordable this double relaxer kit did not come with hair conditioners and the shampoo amount was not nearly enough for the amount of thick and long hair that I’m blessed with (other people reading this with long andor thick hair may also want to buy additional shampoo, conditioners, and hair moisturizers in conjunction with the Ultra Sheen Relaxer kits that they buy). To say that it was a good thing that I had already bought some Aussie Moist conditioner, V05 Lime Shampoo, and Softee brand Extra Virgin Olive Oil conditioner is an understatement. Aside from that Caveat, I’m still glad that I purchased the Ultra Sheen Supreme Relaxer Kit but I would obviously continue to also purchase additional shampoo, conditioner, and hair moisturizer to be on the safe side. Last, but not least, please understand that as a woman who previously wore naturally curly hair from the summer of 2003 until the spring 2012 I understand that beauty comes in all hair lengths, colors, and sizes and that naturally curly hair is actually pretty trendy and fashionable right now among celebrities and models. However, I prefer to wear my hair straightened to save both time and money especially as I’m happily busier nowadays with both my employment endeavors and fitness/exercise endeavors.

I must preface this review by making it clear that I’m reviewing this Aussie Moist Conditioner With Pump 29.2 Fluid Ounce as an amateur reviewer/writer who purchased this from a Family Dollar Store (and not to undermine paid reviewers/writers). Anyhow, what I enjoyed about this Aussie Moist Conditioner is the amount of product in the bottle came out to an affordable price and it moisturized my hair when I urgently needed a product to condition my hair after recently relaxing it (however this conditioner is perfect for both natural hair and chemically relaxed hair). Additionally, this Aussie Moist conditioner has a pleasant scent and is listed to contain jojoba seed oil that helps to moisturize the hair. I confess that I used this conditioner with another type of brand shampoo to help me save some money which was: Alberto VO5 Herbal Escapes Kiwi Lime Squeeze Clarifying Shampoo, 15 Ounce.

This review is from: The Last Ship: A Novel (Paperback)
I admit that I only found out about this book after being introduced to the Last Ship Television TNT series via Entertainment Weekly magazine (back in June 2014).I was in the navy for 8.5 years and naturally I understand that this Last Ship; A Novel book by William Brinkley is obviously different from how the military works in real life (and I also understand that other people who have been in the military andor are still in are going to have different takes on both the tv show the Last Ship and this book). However, this book The Last Ship touches on areas/interests of navy life that are likely to occur. For instance, the narrator pretty much paints a picture of how many of the sailors have music interests as anyone else does: details are included how music tapes from Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Handel’s Messiah, rock, country, jazz, folk,The Beatles, Woody Guthrie, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Whitney Houston etc. A person is going to have to obviously not mind the time period because the narrator does mention music tapes, movie video cassettes, typewriter ribbons etc. Additionally, the time period that the book was written has to be considered because the narrator mentions notifying a character of Signalman Bixby to blinker the message (page 207, multiple online confirm the Signalman rating to have been discontinued).

Naturally, I was influenced to catch season 1 of Rick and Morty because my husband had an inkling to see this series after something he saw online. Anyhow, one creative aspect that makes season 1 of Rick and Morty enjoyable to watch is the theme of the characters traveling to different worlds (something I’m in the process of fine-tuning for my writing goals). I would probably have to say that two of my favorite episodes from this season are Ricksy Business because it played with the idea that an unlikely person can become a hero and Something Ricked This Way Comes because the episode touches on the idea to be careful what you wish for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Some Women Who Could Have Indirectly Shaped JFK’s Politics?July 19, 2016

One reason why I feel comfortable admitting on why this documentary of JFK’s Women: The Scandals Revealed caught my attention is due to the infamy vibe of the stories mentioned that would also help me in my writings for ideas towards an added edge andor controversy. This documentary covers some of the women that were linked to JFK who were discussed to have dangerous ties that could have shook up the foundations of U.S. government security such as Ellen Rometsch. Even during JFK’s earlier days as a young officer in the U.S. Navy he had his own father (Joseph P. Kennedy) concerned about what he was doing (in his personal life) after John F. Kennedy was linked with journalist Inga Arvad. Arvad was mentioned to have even moved away from the Washington D.C. area to follow John F. Kennedy to one of his military assignments, plus more details of other mistresses in this documentary such as the well-known connection to Marilyn Monroe. My husband noticed me watching this documentary and I could not help but ask his take on if he thought Monroe’s heartbreak over Kennedy killed her. He persuasively convinced me that even though heartbreak seems like the culprit that it might have actually been Monroe’s sorrow at how her career life was going that may have contributed to an early death. I was convinced of this possibility because it is common knowledge that career setbacks (before achieving career triumphs) affect men and women from different socio-economic classes in different ways (i.e. a poor person may or may not handle a career setback more easily without it affecting their longevity if they have prodigious emotional strength compared to an equally poor or richer person who may have a harder time dealing with career setbacks before career triumphs (this can obviously sometimes be vice versa).

I recently saw Jackie Siegel featured in some media articles and her husband’s business indirectly affected the life of my husband and I (more on that later). As a result, I was curious to check out the Queen of Versailles documentary. The positives: David Siegel and Jackie Siegel are forthright and honest about how things have changed for them at the beginning of filming compared to at the end. For instance, Jackie Siegel takes a viewer andor viewers through one of the thrift marts that she owns and how she now views money through how she is seen shopping at places such as McDonald’s and Walmart. Additionally, Jackie Siegel shares how her upbringing influenced how she goes about her life during the documentary. The kids are also featured including her late daughter Victoria Siegel. Jackie Siegel’s husband David Siegel (mentioned to be CEO of Westgate Resorts) candidly shares how his path crossed with Jackie Siegel preceding when they got married. One of his sons that works in the business is also featured. Additionally, one of the family nannies Virginia Nebab expresses her gratitude of working with the family but also admits at the time of the filming it had been a long time since she had seen her own kids in the Philippines. I was actually surprised to have enjoyed watching the documentary much more than I initially expected. The cons; The viewer is at least shown at least somewhat of a glimpse in how the Westgate timeshares are sold to customers during their vacations. Additionally, David Siegel, Jackie Siegel, and David Siegel’s son do show some remorse at the employees of Westgate Resorts that were laid off during the filming. However, one of the caveats left out of the film is that a Westgate Timeshare is hard to sell off andor give back once a person andor people agree to buying it (a timeshare is not like a car where a person could at least give it back to Carmax if they need to sell it back for money). Additionally, a person cannot change their mind about giving back the timeshare even if it has been a short timeframe after they realized that the investment is not for them. I’m ready for whatever judgment is publicly thrown at me for sharing this but the fact that a customer is discouraged from being able to think it over on purchasing the timeshare for at least 24 hours from the time that the Westgate employee/salesperson pushes the timeshare is a warning sign. How Do I Know This? I shamelessly admit that back in June 2007 my husband and I allowed ourselves to be persuaded into buying a Westgate Timeshare in Orlando Florida without even allowing ourselves to think it over for at least 24 hours and secondguessing my intuition when the salesperson insisted on my husband and I purchasing the timeshare right on the spot (which is why I aim to listen to my intuition more often today regardless of how I’m judged). My husband paid money towards the bank affiliated with Westgate Resort for at least a year which did nothing to reduce the balance (we found out later that the bank affiliated with those payments went under investigation). Additionally, I later found out via the Dave Ramsey website the truth about owning a timeshare but it was too late for my husband and I to give back the timeshare by the time I came across the website article pertaining to the truth about timeshares. My point that I wish that I would have known beforehand; Try to think it through for at least 24-48 hours before purchasing a Westgate Timeshare through research online and other sources and ignore any pushy Westgate salespeople who try to strong arm you in buying the timeshare on the spot. I could look back at that money lesson situation with a sense of calmness because the money lesson picked up in the aftermath affects just my husband and I household income wise(my husband and I are completely child-free but we have nothing against parents or children). Other than my Westgate Resort tale I would have been embarrassed to tell 2-3 years ago but I’m ok with now shamelessly admitting it, the Queen of Versailles documentary is watchable.

I decided to try this 12 ounce can of Bumble Bee Chunk Light Tuna with Hidden Valley Buttermilk ranch, relish, and some boiled eggs which came out pretty good. The tuna blends in well with the other ingredients that I mixed them with without it being too watery. I also like that the 12 ounce size which allows me to make enough tuna mix for tuna sandwiches to last me for at least 3 days.

This kindlebook of Writing Genre Fiction: Creating Imaginary Worlds: The 12 Rules by Charles Christian caught my attention because of my intent to use the element of world building in my storytelling. Charles Christian touches on areas such as historical elements when writing stories and he cites the 1982 movie Blade Runner. Christian also mentions about writing what you know such as if you’re writing a western andor steampunk. Although I admit to respectfully disagreeing with just what you know and I have my ideas on some of the resources I intend to turn to for world building. Still this is a worthwhile kindlebook purchase especially because he explains in rule 12 why it is also fine to be open to breaking the rules (which I admit resonates with me because I’m sometimes my happiest when I metaphorically color outside the lines, i.e. bending the rules in a harm-free manner from time to time especially as it pertains to my storytelling regardless of whether I’m met with praise or objection).

I’m extremely glad to have came across this kindlebook of 500 Social Media Marketing Tips: Essential Advice, Hints, and Strategy for Business; Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest, Google+, Youtube, Instagram, Linkedin, and More by Andrew Macarthy over two months ago via amazon. One reason; the author explains why breaking news, holidays, and special events can inspire content ideas and deciding which social networks will be best for you. Additionally, one of my goals is to be able to perfect writing and picking up various sources of communication and learning from different websites in both a mature and self-confident manner regardless of my occupation title. This has become important to me as I notice that there are many other commenters online who share my first name and post online as well as people who post under my birth middle name (which I understand happens to many other people as well). Posting online helps me both learn from others (as well as pick up knowledge from other web sites) yet also express my voice in a way to where the way I actually think and am becomes more apparent as I follow my heart to post what I say in both a mature and harm-free manner even when people who may share my name or birth middle name post on the same web sites that I do. The chapters on using twitter (which I admit that the author uses tips about twitter that I did not think about). Additionally, I’m glad that the author included googleplus especially because there are also tips in there that I need to learn and apply plus there is more in this kindlebook by Andrew Macarthy.

This kindlebook of Hex On A Beach (The Magic & Mixology Mystery Series Book 1) by Gina LaManna is a story about a woman who comes into her own as she learns and comes to terms with her true identity as that of a very powerful witch. She is helped along her path by multiple people to spiritually evolve especially her two aunts that turn up out of the blue one day after a challenging work day involving the work of a marketing employee. There is obviously much more but my intuition is influencing me to refrain from saying more. I’m elated to have come across this kindlebook via amazon.

The Labyrinth film deals with the character of Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) unintentionally causing her younger baby brother to be kidnapped into a world ruled by the Jareth the Goblin king (played by the late David Bowie). It takes only an extremely brief time before Sarah regrets what she unknowingly did to cause her baby brother to be transported away from home. Sarah goes on an adventure that influences the multiple characters she meets along the way.

I admit that I decided to watch My Lottery Dream Home Season 1 Episode 1 A Big Home For A Prize after seeing an episode of Lottery Dream Homes when my husband and I visited my mother in law this past 4th of July Weekend (I’m glad she introduced me to this show). For reasons related to sticking to my money goals relating to building up my savings I held off on purchasing the whole season of My Lottery Dream home at once but I plan to purchase season 1 of My Lottery Dream Homes within 2-3 months of this writing because watching the first episode of My Lottery Dream Homes is fun to watch. Season One opens with married couple Rick and Lorrie who won a California Lottery Draw on August 23, 2014 and the host (online source reality tea lists the host as David Bromstadt) of My Lottery Dream Home helps the couple decide on their mansion and a place big enough for the couple’s children and room for Lorrie’s father and close to where the couple has been living for many years (I forgot the exact number quoted and would have to watch the episode again to remind myself but I think it was at least 20 years that they had been living in California because it was mentioned that Rick had just retired from his job shortly before the lottery win). Bromstadt took great care in showing Rick and Lorrie houses that they enjoyed looking at (my favorite place that the host took them to was Eagle Crest). Hopefully it is fine for me to write that the additional happy ending to this episode was that the couple were able to also buy some high acres of land with the mansion that they ultimately went with. The two dollars that I spent on this episode is well worth it and I obviously would still eventually purchase the whole season 1 even if it was made available for free on Amazon, Netflix, etc.

This review is from: Tanner's Lottery (Kindle Edition)
Tanner’s Lottery by Glen Sample touches on how a person’s life changes and that of the people who surround them when a lottery wins occur. I’m happy to have come across this kindlebook because it gave me ideas on how to write a rags to riches story as a woman who enjoys freestyle writing. One of the characters in the story came up with an idea to team up with other people to play to win the lottery. In story fictional theory this could pay off. However, the caveat is that real-life may obviously be a different reality when multiple people team up together to play the lottery andor if multiple tickets are purchased. Aside from that plot concern, Tanner’s Lottery by Glen Sample is a bargain because it can help a reader playfully imagine what would they do if they too won the lottery.

This review is from: Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
I admit that I first heard the music of New Kids On The Block around the time I was around 8-11 years old from what was either Illinois radio play andor television. Anyhow, listening to this collection actually helps me indirectly connect to my true nature because I actually enjoyed their music after first hearing it as a very young girl independent of the groups and music that my older family members enjoyed around this time. Anyhow, it helps to be an eclectic music listener to enjoy this collection because even though the music is late 80’s/early 90’s style a multiple number of the songs mash pop, dance, and R&B genres. I understand that each member of the New Kids On The Block contributes musically in an important/meaningful way. However, I admit that my favorite vocalist of the group is Jordan Knight because when it is his turn to sing his vocals in songs such as Step by Step, the Right stuff he sings the song in a way to where it is as if he is actually playing the part of the song’s theme (i.e. musical acting where he convincingly conveys singing about a woman who means a lot to him at the time Step by Step was released regardless of what his relationship status was-I mean no disrespect to the wife in his marital life). Additionally, I also like that the music of New Kids On The Block conveys acceptance of one’s appearance and personality such as in Stay The Same and of uplifting love such as the tune Angel of Love. I also admit that I actually got this cd back in 2011 and a few months before I attended a concert that the New Kids On The Block scheduled with the BackStreet Boys in June 2011 in the Washington D.C. area (luckily my husband is open-minded to my eclectic music taste).

I understand that I’m very far from the target audience for this book because of my prolific interest in new age and occult books. However, this kindlebook Angel Armies Releasing the Warriors of Heaven by Tim Sheets caught my attention because of my awareness that I must keep an open mind to writings from various genres to be a better and more open-minded writer. Additionally, I admit that I have benefited from the power of prayer and petitioning celestial/angelic help even during challenging/economically desperate times of my life as well as financially abundant/halcyon times of my life and I was hoping to come across a book to further broaden my understanding of what I didn’t already know (I do acknowledge that I have so much more to learn in life spiritually and in other areas). The positives; the author shares the benefits of what angels can do and he is completely truthful with how he feels. The caveats; I was hoping for a kindlebook that lists that various names of multiple angels and the areas that they are attributed with and there was not that type of information available. Additionally, I respectfully disagreed with his judgment on a woman’s right to choose and the types of couples allowed to marry. However, this book does seem like it is more ideal for a hardcore religious or traditionally religious person (due to the strong biblical references)

5.0 out of 5 stars I’m Glad To Have Borrowed This Book For the Month BecauseJune 28, 2016
This kindlebook of A Beginner’s Guide To the Prophetic: The ABC’s of Personal Prophecy by Matthew Robert Payne, Lisa Thompson, John Veal is part memoir and info on prophecy through the author’s perspective. The author is candid with how his personal early struggles while growing up in Australia and his personal life indirectly shaped the type of author he is. He lists the nine purposes of personal prophecy, eight more purposes of personal prophecy, and more. This kindlebook was very healing to me and encourages me to eventually look at more books related to prophecy. Yet the only two caveats are that I just wish that there was more information on developing the skill of prophecy and discussion of the possibility that some people may be meant to balance both being of the world while keeping a spiritual andor religious focus. I sometimes noticed that being focused on worldly matters involving making more money and other matters while balancing a spiritual/religious life sometimes gets a bad rap in some spiritual andor religious books. However, many people are required to thrive in important jobs that demand a strong focus on worldly matters (the military, grocery/retail jobs, restaurant jobs, mall jobs etc.). I understand that the author means well when he mentions about some the people he knows who have one foot in worldly matters and another foot in religious matters. However, I just wish that more acknowledgment could have been giving in the kindlebook that some people are meant to live an existence focused more on worldly matters while others are meant to balance both the spiritual and practical. I understand that I’m definitely not the target audience for the book due to my interest in new age and occult books. However, this kindlebook caught my attention because of my intuitive feeling that it would be helpful for me to look at books from both the new age/occult and religious in order for me to be a more well rounded writer for the books I plan to write (under a penname/maybe pennames that are not even remotely related to the meaning of Stella Carrier). Additionally, my interest in becoming a writer was helped by my adoptive father who told me around the time I was between 11-13 years old that I’m going to become a writer. I’m not sure if he was joking or serious but he did provide an encouraging learning environment that helped me thrive to become class valedictorian in 8th grade with a flourishing interest in writing. Much to my surprise, this inspirational kindlebook reminds me to push past public judgment and avoid waiting for a more ideal time to publish andor self publish my writings/books and to instead map out a timeline/deadline for myself when it comes to my writing.

I preface this review not to undermine paid writers/reviewers but to make it clear that I’m reviewing as an amateur writer who loves to write online and craves practical knowledge. I purchased this kindlebook of Real Estate Investing Gone Bad; 21 True Stories of What Not To Do When Investing In Real Estate and Flipping Houses by Phil Pustejovsky and feel that the book’s author comes from a positive intent to help. The author discusses a real-life example of why a person must be careful when investing in properties long-distance. Pustejovsky also shares a story of what happened when a person sold one of his properties and traded it for what looked like a sure bet because the occupants were in more prestigious/lucrative careers (where one of the tenants was a lawyer), plus more stories. I’m grateful for the apartment that my husband and I currently reside in. However, this kindlebook caught my attention because I intend to purchase a completely paid for home for my husband and I by the year 2030 at the latest. I chose to get this kindlebook to help me further understand how the real estate market works from both a seller’s and buyer’s viewpoint.
